Looking to collect another Heart Piece in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time? There’s a Business Scrub near Hyrule Castle Town who will sell you one, but he won’t do business until you know his password.
The tricky part is that you need to visit this location in both of Link’s timelines. We’ll find the password as Adult Link, travel back in time, and then use it as Child Link to purchase the Heart Piece.
This Heart Piece is exclusive to the Switch 2 remake, so if you’re playing that version, here’s how to get it.
TLOZ Ocarina of Time Business Scrub Password Guide
First, we need to find the Business Scrub as Child Link.
- Head toward the entrance to Hyrule Castle Town.
- Look across the river to the right of the entrance.
- Find the small patch of land with a hole that can be opened using a Bomb.
- Bomb the hole and climb down.
- Talk to the Business Scrub inside.
The Scrub will ask you for a password before he’ll sell anything. We’ll need to come back after finding it.
How to Find the Business Scrub Password
The password can only be discovered as Adult Link. If you’re still playing as Child Link, head to the Temple of Time in Hyrule Castle Town and interact with the Master Sword to move forward in time.
Once you’re Adult Link:
- Return to the area where you found the Business Scrub.
- Find the tree directly opposite the hole.
- Interact with the tree to read the Fairy’s Thoughts.
- The message reveals the password:
“Sell somethin’, will ya?”
Make sure you read the message as Adult Link. Knowing the password is not enough to purchase the item in the adult timeline.
How to Get the Heart Piece
Now that we know the password, we need to return to Child Link.
- Go back to the Temple of Time.
- Interact with the Master Sword to travel back in time.
- Return to the Business Scrub’s grotto near Hyrule Castle Town.
- Speak to the Scrub and enter the password.
- Purchase the Heart Piece for 100 Rupees.
If you try to buy the item as Adult Link, the Business Scrub will tell you that he sold his wares to a fairy long ago. So make sure you’re playing as Child Link when you return.
