Anime Paradox X Tier List – Best DPS, Support & Farm Units

If you’ve been summoning new units and wondering, “Is this character actually worth investing in?”, you’re definitely not alone. One of the easiest ways to waste resources in Anime Paradox X is by leveling a flashy-looking unit that falls off later, especially when evolution materials and traits aren’t exactly easy to get.

After spending plenty of time testing different team combinations, comparing evolved units, and seeing how they perform in raids, portals, infinite mode, and boss fights, it’s pretty clear that not every Secret or Mythic unit deserves the same amount of investment.

That’s exactly why I put together this Anime Paradox X tier list.

Instead of simply ranking characters by rarity, this guide focuses on real performance. Some Mythics easily outperform Secrets in certain situations, while a few older units still remain surprisingly useful because of their utility or farming potential.

One important thing before we jump in: every ranking below assumes the unit is fully evolved, properly leveled, and equipped with a strong Mythic Trait (preferably Eternal or Vampiric where applicable). A unit without its EVO passives unlocked can perform very differently than its completed version.

Let’s break down every tier.

Anime Paradox X Tier List – Best DPS, Support & Farm Units

S+ Tier DPS Units (Meta Picks)

These are the units that currently dominate Anime Paradox X. If you manage to obtain even one of them, they’re absolutely worth building around. Most endgame teams include at least one of these because they offer incredible damage, powerful passives, or game-changing abilities.

Zid (Atomic)

Zid is probably the first name that comes to mind when people talk about broken units.

His biggest strength isn’t just his raw DPS—it’s the ridiculous amount of map-wide damage he can deal. Atomic can wipe entire waves, while his passive abilities constantly trigger extra explosions that keep enemies under pressure.

Although his strongest abilities have long cooldowns, they’re so impactful that the wait rarely feels like a downside.

Best Trait: Eternal

Storrk (Resurreccion)

If you enjoy summon-based characters, Storrk is on another level.

His wolves already deal excellent damage, but after evolution, their numbers double, allowing him to overwhelm enemies without needing constant attention. Since summons remain incredibly strong in the current meta, Storrk naturally sits near the very top.

The only real downside?

Actually getting him.

Best Trait: Eternal

Sakuno (Curse King)

Sakuno is one of those units that keeps getting stronger as fights continue.

His Bleed application is incredibly consistent, and once his evolved passive starts triggering, enemies melt surprisingly fast. While some abilities depend on RNG, the overall damage output more than makes up for it.

Best Trait: Eternal

Megumo (Ten Shadows)

Megumo isn’t flashy at first.

Then General Moharoga appears.

Between Chimera Sovereign, boss debuffs, and the extra summon, Megumo becomes one of the highest sustained DPS units available. His Domain abilities also make difficult boss encounters much safer.

Best Trait: Eternal

Bumta (True Love)

Bumta offers everything you’d want from a carry.

Huge base damage, easy-to-stack damage buffs, defensive passives, and reliable critical-style effects make him incredibly consistent in almost every game mode.

Unlike many glass cannon units, Bumta is surprisingly difficult to kill thanks to Queen’s Protection.

Best Trait: Eternal

Monkey King (Crowned)

Wukong brings amazing survivability alongside impressive damage.

Automatic dodges, healing after kills, and multiple attack skills allow him to stay alive while constantly dealing damage. He performs especially well during longer stages where sustain matters.

Best Trait: Eternal / Vampiric

Death Reaper (Souls)

Don’t let the HP-draining passive scare you.

The permanent DPS increase you receive is significantly stronger than the health penalty. Once fully evolved, Death Reaper becomes one of the most reliable boss killers in the game.

Best Trait: Eternal / Vampiric

Qun Sha Buang (Awakened)

Qin Shi Huang excels against bosses.

His crowd control, critical bonuses, vulnerability effects, and burst damage all work together to make him one of the strongest late-game units currently available.

Managing his health-draining passive is the only thing players need to watch.

Best Trait: Eternal / Vampiric

Amun

Amun was practically built for boss stages.

He becomes tankier over time, reduces incoming boss damage, deals extra damage back, and even slows enemies whenever bosses appear.

He isn’t quite as dominant during regular waves, but against difficult bosses he’s fantastic.

Best Trait: Eternal

Arimo

Arimo keeps getting stronger as your team fills the map.

His scaling passive rewards smart placement, while Commanding Strike provides impressive burst damage alongside vulnerability debuffs.

The better your team composition becomes, the stronger Arimo gets.

Best Trait: Eternal / Vampiric

Kanbeki

Kanbeki’s kit revolves around adaptation.

He becomes much stronger when enemies are bleeding or after taking damage himself, making him an excellent choice alongside Bleed-focused teammates.

He requires a little more setup than some other S+ units but easily earns his spot once everything comes together.

Best Trait: Eternal / Vampiric

S Tier DPS Units

These units sit just below the absolute meta picks.

They’re more than capable of clearing every piece of content in the game and remain excellent long-term investments.

S Tier Units

  • Sun Jin Wu
  • Igrus
  • Ichuga
  • Getu (Parade)
  • Joegu (Volcanic)
  • Tuji (Heavenly Pact)
  • Chaso (Blood Bath)
  • Maeto (True Form)
  • Sea God (Storm)
  • The Honored One
  • The Hollow (Flames)
  • Juzu
  • Shadow Vampire
  • Ulquiarro (Murcielago)
  • Akiko
  • Sprintcart

These units usually excel in one or two specific areas:

  • Outstanding sustained DPS
  • Strong boss damage
  • Reliable survivability
  • Great scaling
  • Excellent utility
  • Powerful passives after evolution

A few personal favorites here are Sun Jin Wu, whose scaling becomes ridiculous in longer games, and Igrus, who becomes even stronger when paired with SJW.

Meanwhile, Ichuga remains one of the easiest recommendations if you simply want nonstop Bleed damage.

A Tier DPS Units

These characters are still very good.

In fact, many players will spend a large portion of their progression using them before pulling stronger Secret units.

They simply don’t have the same ceiling as the higher tiers.

A Tier Units

  • Brolu (Super)
  • Kirrua (Goodspeed)
  • Sky (Enhanced)
  • Freezo (Full Power)
  • Ohmu
  • Bacardi (Gambler)
  • Kasheemu (Electric)
  • Steel
  • Asto (Devil)

Most A Tier characters usually suffer from one of these problems:

  • Lower base damage
  • Heavy setup requirements
  • Too much RNG
  • Long cooldowns
  • Outclassed by newer releases

That said, don’t feel forced to replace them immediately. A well-built A Tier unit can comfortably clear most content.

B Tier DPS Units

These units remain usable but are noticeably weaker than higher-ranked options.

They’re perfectly fine for progressing through story content and mid-game challenges, but you’ll likely replace them once your roster improves.

B Tier Units

  • Eryu (Antithesis)
  • Seth (One-Winged)
  • Melio (Wrath)
  • Itochi (Eternal Flame)

Most of these units either rely on very situational passives or simply don’t produce enough consistent damage compared to current meta picks.

D Tier DPS Units

These characters have useful abilities but simply don’t scale well enough for today’s endgame content.

D Tier Units

  • Megomun (Explosion)
  • Chae-In (Light)
  • Ciel (SUPER)

Megomun is actually a surprisingly fun early-game wave clearer, but her damage quickly falls behind once harder content unlocks.

Best Starter Units

If you’re just beginning Anime Paradox X, these units can carry you surprisingly far before you start collecting Mythics.

  • Vampire
  • Tanjura
  • Spade
  • Roku Dark
  • Neju
  • Grimjaw
  • Kokoshi
  • Gunos
  • Natsu

They’re easy to obtain and provide solid value early on.

Best Support Units in Anime Paradox X

One thing that makes Anime Paradox X feel different from many Roblox tower defense games is the map design.

Since enemies attack from every direction instead of following one straight lane, support characters become much more valuable than usual. Healing, slowing, farming, buffs, and crowd control can completely change difficult stages.

S+ Tier Support & Farm Units

If you’re building an endgame team, these are the supports you should prioritize.

Brojo (Six Eyes)

Possibly the strongest support in the entire game.

Infinity alone can completely save runs, while his permanent crowd-control immunity makes difficult stages much easier.

Oreheme (Sacred)

The best dedicated healer available.

Her overhealing mechanic even converts extra healing into bonus damage, meaning she increases both survivability and DPS at the same time.

Idol (Pop)

Idol provides one of the strongest offensive support buffs in Anime Paradox X.

Once evolved, Hype Overdrive becomes almost permanent, making every nearby damage dealer significantly stronger.

Executioner (Awakened)

Executioner focuses on consistency.

Reliable healing combined with frequent stuns makes difficult waves much easier to survive.

Bulla

Every player eventually learns one thing:

More money means faster upgrades.

That’s exactly why Bulla remains the best farming unit currently available.

S Tier Support Units

These supports remain excellent choices if you don’t own every S+ character.

  • Shadow Vampire
  • Ulquiarro (Murcielago)
  • Sprintcart
  • Akiko

Shadow Vampire deserves special mention because his global Time Stop can completely rescue difficult boss fights.

A Tier Support Units

These aren’t bad units.

They’re simply more niche compared to higher-ranked supports.

  • Steel (Shadow)
  • Asto (Devil)

Steel provides solid defensive support, while Asto shines specifically against shield-heavy enemies.

How to Unlock Units in Anime Paradox X

Not every powerful unit comes from normal banners. Some require completing difficult content, while others are tied to events or special shops.

Here’s where you’ll find them:

Unit Unlock Method
Igrus Siege Shop Secret
Ichuga Legend Stage Hollow Act 3
Sun Jin Wu Raid Act 3 Secret
Zid Secret Banner
Storrk Paradox Banner
Sky Battle Pass Level 25
Seth Battle Pass Level 50
Shadow Vampire AFK Chamber
Megomun Early Access+ or AFK Chamber
Ohmu, Akiko, Natsu Valentine Shop
Soji Okita, Qin Shi Huang, Hades Secret Portals
Wukong, Buddha, Poseidon Ragnar Currency
Most Mythics Standard Summon Banner

The meta in Anime Paradox X continues to shift with every major update, but right now the biggest winners are units that combine high sustained DPS with powerful passives rather than relying purely on burst damage.

If you’re planning your resources carefully, I’d recommend prioritizing Zid, Megumo, Sakuno, Bumta, or Storrk whenever you get the opportunity. Pair them with support units like Bulla, Brojo, or Oreheme, and you’ll have a team capable of handling nearly every challenge the game currently offers.

If you’re still early into your journey, don’t worry too much about having the perfect roster. Focus on evolving your strongest available units first, learn their strengths, and gradually replace them as stronger Secrets and Mythics join your collection. That’s honestly the most enjoyable way to experience Anime Paradox X.
