Astrals are one of the most confusing systems for new players in The Cozy Florist, especially because the game barely explains how Astral production actually works. Between Celestial Tide flowers, Astral cards, friend bonuses, and dispatching, it is easy to get lost early on.
Thankfully, once you understand the process, Astrals become one of the best ways to earn Astral Stones and unlock extra rewards from the Astral Shop.
This guide explains exactly how Astrals work, how to grow them efficiently, and how to maximize your daily Astral production.
The Cozy Florist Astrals Guide – How to Grow Astrals
To start growing Astrals, you first need a special flower called a Celestial Tide flower from the Star Spirit Draw Event.
At the moment, the featured version is:
- Capricorn Celestial Tide
Future events may rotate this flower into different zodiac or seasonal variants.
To pull from the Star Spirit Draw Event, you will need:
- Dreamseek Stones
These can usually be purchased or earned through limited activities.
Without a Celestial Tide flower, you cannot begin Astral farming.
Astral Cards
After getting your Celestial Tide flower, you also need an Astral-compatible flower card from the Collectible Blind Box system.
Each Astral card corresponds to a specific flower type. That flower must be planted beside your Celestial Tide flower to generate Astrals properly.
The good news is that you do not need every Astral card in the game. Even a single compatible card is enough to begin farming.
Before planting, make sure:
- Your Celestial Tide flower is cultivated
- Your Astral card flower is also cultivated
If either one is missing preparation, Astral growth may not work correctly.
How to Plant Astrals Properly
The planting setup matters a lot.
Correct Setup
- Plant 1 Capricorn Celestial Tide
- Fill every remaining plot with the matching Astral card flower
A lot of players accidentally mix random flowers into the field, which lowers Astral generation consistency.
Another important detail is:
Do not water immediately after planting.
Instead, first check if you have any available bonuses active.
Friend Bonuses and Double Astral Bonuses
Before watering your field, you should always visit the Astral House and check the Bonus section.
Every week, the game selects:
- 3 featured Astrals with double rewards
These rotate weekly, so checking the Double Bonus tab regularly is extremely important if you want maximum Astral efficiency.
You can also request growth assistance from friends. Once:
- 5 friends send help
…you can claim a temporary growth boost bonus.
These bonuses only last for a limited time, so activate them before watering your flowers.
Why You Sometimes Get 0 Astrals
One of the biggest misconceptions is that Astrals are guaranteed every harvest.
They are not.
In many cases, the very first growth cycle produces:
- 0 Astrals
This is completely normal.
Do not replace your setup or assume you planted incorrectly. Simply:
- Harvest the flowers
- Replant them
- Grow them again
After a few cycles, you should start seeing floating Astrals appearing behind your flowers.
Once visible, they are ready to collect or share.
Sharing Astrals With Friends
When Astrals appear in your garden, you can:
- Keep them for yourself
- Share them with neighbors
Sharing does not remove your own Astrals, which means there is no downside to helping friends.
This is why many active players constantly exchange Astrals with each other daily.
Daily Astral Limits
Astral farming has a daily cap.
Standard Limit
- 18 Astrals per day
Premium Astral Pass Limit
- Additional 12 daily Astrals
- Maximum total: 30 per day
Once you reach the daily limit, Astral generation stops until reset.
Because of this, it is usually better to focus on efficient bonus farming rather than endlessly replanting.
How to Use Astrals
After collecting Astrals, head to the Astral House and dispatch them.
Astrals will leave temporarily and later return with:
- Astral Stones
Astral Stones are the main currency used in the Astral Shop.
What Astral Stones Are Used For
Astral Stones can be exchanged for:
- Special shop items
- Upgrade materials
- Astral progression rewards
- Miscellaneous cosmetics and resources
The Astral Shop becomes much more valuable later once you start farming consistently every day.
Upgrading Astral Cards
Astral cards can also be upgraded inside the Astral House.
Higher-level Astral cards improve:
- Astral production rate
- Overall farming efficiency
This becomes especially important for players trying to maximize daily Astral caps quickly.
Free Astrals From Neighbors
Even if you never grow Astrals yourself, you can still collect:
- 4 Astrals daily from neighbors
After collecting them, simply dispatch them through the Astral House like normal to receive Astral Stones later.
This is a great passive method for newer players who still lack Celestial Tide flowers or Astral cards.
