The newest update in The Cozy Florist introduces two important progression systems: Flower Advancement and Alchemy. These mechanics are designed for late-game players who want stronger flowers, better order rewards, and higher Guild Competition scores.
At first, both systems can look confusing because the game explains very little about how Prime Dew, Attribute Optimization, and Flower Advancement actually work together. Thankfully, the process becomes much simpler once you understand the basics.
How to Unlock Flower Advancement
The Flower Advancement system unlocks once you reach:
- Florist Level 31
- A flower at Level 10
After unlocking the feature, eligible flowers gain access to the new Advance tab.
Not every flower can immediately use the full system. The flower itself also needs to reach specific level milestones before additional attribute slots become available.
Flower Advancement Explained
Flower Advancement allows players to improve flowers using a material called:
- Prime Dew
Advancing flowers unlocks random bonus attributes that improve multiple gameplay systems across your garden.
These bonuses can affect:
- Resident Orders
- Customer Orders
- Floral Art Selling
- Royal Supply
- Group Orders
Later on, advanced flowers can even help increase your performance during Guild Competitions.
Attribute Slots and Flower Levels
Flowers unlock additional attribute slots at:
- Level 10
- Level 13
- Level 16
These unlock sequentially, meaning you cannot skip directly to later slots.
The first two advancement slots mainly require:
- Gold
- Prime Dew
However, the final Level 16 slot also requires:
- Diamonds
Because of the Diamond cost, many players are saving Level 16 optimization for their best long-term flowers only.
What Attributes Can You Get?
Flower Advancement gives random bonuses whenever you optimize attributes.
Possible bonuses include:
- Flower Gold Earnings
- Flower EXP Earnings
- Essence Drop Quantity
- Essence Drop Rate
- Harvest Interval Reduction
- Harvest Quantity
- Guild Race Points
Some bonuses are far more valuable than others depending on your playstyle.
For example:
- Gold and EXP bonuses are excellent for daily progression
- Harvest bonuses help long-term farming
- Guild Race Points become important for competitive guild players later
Because attributes are randomized, optimization can take multiple attempts before getting ideal rolls.
How Alchemy Works
Alchemy exists mainly to create:
- Prime Dew
Prime Dew is the core material required for Flower Advancement and Attribute Optimization.
The Alchemy system unlocks at:
- Florist Level 31
Inside the Apothecary, players can refine extra cultivation materials into Prime Dew.
Material Requirements for Alchemy
Only cultivation materials above:
- 80 quantity
…can be refined.
Each material converts into:
- 8 Prime Dew
Materials below 80 cannot be used in refinement, which prevents players from accidentally consuming important low-stock resources.
This system is especially useful for late-game players sitting on thousands of unused materials.
How to Get More Prime Dew
Prime Dew mainly comes from:
- Alchemy refinement
- Pack Shop bundles
- Event rewards
Players who advance flowers heavily will burn through Prime Dew surprisingly quickly, especially while rerolling strong attributes.
Because of this, many players are prioritizing Alchemy daily once they reach Level 31.
Which Bonuses Are Best?
For most players, the best early optimization stats are:
- Gold Earnings
- EXP Earnings
- Harvest Quantity
- Harvest Interval Reduction
These bonuses improve overall progression speed much more consistently than niche stats early on.
Guild-focused players, however, may eventually prioritize:
- Guild Race Points
- Essence bonuses
once competitive content becomes more important.
