Standard-class cars in Racing Master are often overlooked because most players immediately focus on higher-end categories. However, the Standard class is actually packed with surprisingly competitive vehicles, especially in Season 26S2 where several crossover and drift-focused cars are dominating online races.
This tier list ranks every major Standard-class car based on overall speed, handling consistency, drift potential, acceleration, and average lap-time performance.
Legendary Standard Cars Tier List

The Initial D crossover cars completely changed the Standard-class meta this season. The RX-7 RS Initial D and AE86 Initial D especially stand out because they combine excellent cornering with extremely smooth drift transitions.
The Skyline R-32 remains one of the safest all-around picks thanks to its balanced acceleration and reliable control during tighter tracks. Meanwhile, the GR86 continues performing well because of its consistency across both technical and high-speed maps.
Players looking to climb ranked quickly should prioritize these cars first since they offer the best performance ceiling in the Standard category.
S Tier

S-tier cars are still extremely competitive and can comfortably win races with proper tuning and upgrades. Most of these vehicles fall slightly behind the SS tier because they either lack top-end acceleration or require more precise handling control.
The Lancer EVO III and Xsara WRC remain excellent technical-track choices due to their stable corner exits, while the Skyline R-34 continues to be one of the most beginner-friendly options in the game.
The AE86 Trueno deserves special mention because its drifting feels incredibly smooth despite not quite reaching the absurd consistency of the Initial D version.
A Tier

- Mach 1
These cars are solid but more situational compared to higher-tier options. The JCW GP performs reasonably well on shorter tracks with frequent corners, while the Mach 1 benefits more from straight-line speed than technical handling.
They are still usable for ranked progression but generally require stronger upgrades to compete consistently against SS and S-tier vehicles.
B Tier
- M235i
The M235i struggles mainly because it lacks standout strengths. Its handling feels decent enough, but the acceleration and drift response are noticeably weaker compared to higher-ranked cars.
It can still perform adequately early on, though most players eventually replace it.
C Tier
- C3
The C3 currently sits at the bottom of the Legendary Standard rankings because of its weaker overall speed and inconsistent control during aggressive turns.
While usable for casual races and farming, it falls behind heavily in competitive play.
Rare Standard Cars Tier List
S Tier
- 330i
- Golf R
The 330i and Golf R remain the strongest Rare-class Standard cars in 26S2. With enough ECU upgrades, both cars can surprisingly compete against weaker Legendary vehicles.
The Golf R feels especially stable during wet or technical tracks, while the 330i benefits from smoother acceleration consistency.
Players lacking strong Legendary cars should absolutely consider investing into these two.
A Tier
- BRZ
The BRZ continues to be one of the most balanced Rare cars available. It handles well, drifts comfortably, and performs consistently across most track types.
Although it lacks the explosive speed of top-tier vehicles, it remains a very reliable progression option.
B Tier
- Focus RS
- Q60
Both the Focus RS and Q60 are decent mid-tier choices but require heavier upgrades before they begin competing properly.
The Focus RS performs slightly better on tighter circuits, while the Q60 benefits more from smoother high-speed sections.
Normal Standard Cars Tier List
B Tier
- Miata MX-5
- Passat 2.0
- Fit
- Mazda3 Hatchback
These cars mainly exist for early progression and farming purposes. With maximum upgrades and ECU investment, they can perform surprisingly well against lower Rare-tier vehicles.
The Miata MX-5 remains the most enjoyable Normal-class car thanks to its responsive handling and lightweight feel.
C Tier
- Fiesta ST
The Fiesta ST currently struggles to compete even with full upgrades. Its acceleration and stability simply do not scale well into higher-level races.
Most players will move on from it fairly quickly.
The Standard-class meta in Racing Master 26S2 is currently dominated by the Initial D crossover vehicles, especially the RX-7 and AE86 variants. Their combination of drift control, acceleration, and cornering consistency makes them incredibly difficult to beat in competitive races.
That said, player skill still matters heavily in Racing Master. Even lower-tier vehicles can perform surprisingly well with strong tuning, proper upgrades, and enough track mastery.
