If you are getting ready for Last Epoch Season 5 Rage of the Frostborn, knowing which builds perform well against bosses can make a big difference when you reach the endgame. With so many different builds available, it can be difficult to know which ones are worth considering for boss fights.
In this post, we will go through the current Last Epoch Season 5 Bossing Tier List and cover the builds placed in each tier. The rankings are based on the time needed to defeat Uber Aberroth using the Endgame Planner Setup, giving you an idea of how different builds perform against one of the game’s major endgame bosses.
Keep in mind that this is a pre-patch Season 5 tier list. The placements can change once the season officially launches and the builds have been tested on the live patch. Builds marked with an asterisk have received major changes and still need to be tested after the update.
Last Epoch Season 5 Bossing Tier List – Rage of the Frostborn
The Bossing Tier List ranks builds based on their performance against Uber Aberroth using the Endgame Planner Setup.
The builds are divided into four main tiers:
- S Tier – Top-performing bossing builds
- A Tier – Strong bossing builds
- B Tier – Solid options
- C Tier – Lower-performing options compared to the higher tiers
The Endgame Planner Setup is designed to balance damage and survivability, since both are important when fighting endgame bosses.
A build may perform differently if you change its setup. For example, sacrificing some defensive stats for additional damage can potentially move a build higher on the tier list.

Important Season 5 Notes
This ranking is based on pre-release information for Season 5: Rage of the Frostborn, so you should not treat every placement as final.
The list is expected to be updated after Season 5 launches. Changes to skills, items, mechanics, or individual builds can affect their actual bossing performance on the live patch.
Builds marked with an asterisk (*) have received major changes and still need to be tested after the patch is released.
The ranking is also specifically focused on bossing performance, with Uber Aberroth used as the benchmark. A build’s position here does not necessarily describe how it performs for other activities such as general mapping, leveling, farming, or other forms of endgame content.
The Season 5 Bossing Tier List gives you a quick way to compare the current builds for endgame boss fights. The rankings are based on the time required to defeat Uber Aberroth using the Endgame Planner Setup, while also taking survivability into account.
Since this is the pre-patch version, the rankings can change once Season 5 is live and the newly changed builds have been properly tested. If you are choosing a build for the new season, keep that in mind and check for updates after the launch.
