Fisch has received another content update, and this time there are two new NPCs to meet. Hammi and Echo have arrived with exclusive questlines, new fishing rods, collectibles, and activities to complete. There are also some changes to the Companion system and a limited-time opportunity to catch Nessie.
The update gives players several new progression goals. You can hunt sharks for special rewards, work on Echo’s bat swarm mechanic, and collect Companion Hat Vouchers from the Flying Dutchman. Both new NPCs have their own rewards, so there is plenty to do beyond regular fishing.
Here’s a breakdown of everything introduced in the Fisch Venue Part 2 update, including the new equipment, event bonuses, and redeem code.
Fisch Venue Part 2 Update – Hammyshork Rod, Codes
Hammi: Shark Hunts and Hammyshork Rod
<text color=”secondary” size=”sm”>New NPC and shark-themed questline</text>
Hammi is now available in Fisch, bringing a questline focused on sharks and new fishing rewards.
Completing Hammi’s tasks unlocks the Hammyshork Rod along with levelable Shark Plushies. These plushies are another collectible progression feature added with this update.
There is also a new Shark Hunt activity. To activate a hunt, fish in abundance areas and watch for opportunities to encounter Apex variants.
During this activity, you can collect Shark Tokens. These tokens can be exchanged with the new Shark Merchant for available rewards.
Echo: Unlock the Fangsplitter Rod
Echo is the second NPC introduced in this update. Players can complete his questline to obtain the Fangsplitter Rod and earn additional cosmetics.
His activities also introduce a bat swarm mechanic. You need to perform consecutive Perfect Catches to build up active bat swarms.
The more consistently you land Perfect Catches, the more you can build up your swarms and improve your progress speed. So, focus on maintaining your catch streak while working through Echo’s tasks.
Companion System Changes
The Companion Satchel has received a visual redesign. Its interface now includes new options, with some functionality designed to work similarly to the equipment bag.
This update is also preparing the system for another customization feature. A skin and hat preview system is planned for the following week, giving players a way to preview Companion appearances.
New Companion Hat Vouchers
You can purchase Companion Hat Vouchers from the Flying Dutchman while FischFright 3 is still active.
These vouchers are intended to unlock special Companion Hats when they become available next week.
The announced hat options are:
- Classic Pumpkin
- Dominus Formidulosis
- Brighteyes’ Witches Brew Hat
If you want these cosmetic items, make sure to get the vouchers before the FischFright 3 availability period ends.
Nessie Takeover: Increased Catch Chances
The Nessie Takeover Weekend gives players another opportunity to catch two special creatures before they disappear.
During this limited-time event, the game has increased Nessie encounter chances across the board. The timer for Ghoul Nessie has also been doubled, giving players a longer opportunity to encounter it.
Here are the event changes:
| Event Change | Details |
|---|---|
| Nessie Chances | Increased across the board |
| Ghoul Nessie Timer | Doubled |
| Availability | Special weekend only |
This is the final announced opportunity to catch these creatures before they’re gone, so prioritize your fishing attempts while the event is active.
FischFright Finale Code
Don’t leave without redeeming the latest code. The developers have shared one final code for FischFright.
| Code | Availability |
|---|---|
FischFrightFinale |
Redeem before FischFright ends |
Enter the code in Fisch’s redemption menu while it is still active. The announcement does not specify the exact reward, so check the in-game redemption message after claiming it.
What Should You Do First?
If you’re jumping into the update and aren’t sure where to begin, I’d recommend prioritizing the limited-time content first.
- Visit Hammi and start working through the shark questline.
- Fish in abundance areas to trigger Shark Hunts and collect Shark Tokens.
- Visit Echo and work toward unlocking the Fangsplitter Rod.
- Practice consecutive Perfect Catches to build active bat swarms.
- Purchase Companion Hat Vouchers from the Flying Dutchman before the stated availability period ends.
- Take advantage of the increased Nessie chances during the weekend.
- Redeem
FischFrightFinalebefore FischFright ends.
Fisch Venue Part 2 is a content-focused update with two new NPC questlines and several additional progression systems. Hammi introduces shark-related activities and the Hammyshork Rod, while Echo adds the Fangsplitter Rod and bat swarm mechanic.
Alongside these additions, the Companion Satchel has been redesigned, new hat vouchers are available, and Nessie encounters have received temporary boosts. If you still need Nessie or Ghoul Nessie, the takeover weekend should be your main priority before the event ends.
