Playrooms achievements can be unlocked by collecting balls, unlocking rooms, finding hidden items, rescuing sparrows, and upgrading your equipment. You also need to fill all eight ball pits and complete a few special tasks to reach 100% completion.
Many of the achievements are pretty straightforward, but two — Colour is a Distraction and Model Employee — require extra planning. This article will guide you through unlocking all achievements in Playrooms, from finding items and completing all rooms to filling those ball pits and buying every equipment upgrade. Plus, I’ll provide insights and tips for the trickier achievements.
Before diving into the details, make sure to check your progress regularly using stats.exe. It’s helpful to monitor what you’ve collected and guide your next actions.
Progress can be checked easily through stats.exe on your PC. Just open the Overview tab, then head to the Progress section to see counts of collected objects and sparrows.
Keep in mind that you won’t see the object and sparrow counters until you’ve collected at least one of each. Also, don’t worry too much; you can’t permanently lock yourself out of any achievement, so if you make an error collecting balls or filling a pit, you can always keep playing and work toward completing the remaining upgrades.
Detail Info Progress Tracking Check via stats.exe on your PC Unlockable Status No permanent lockout of achievements Initial Counter Requirement Collect at least one object and sparrow
You can check your progress through stats.exe on your PC. Open the Overview tab and look under Progress to see your collected objects and sparrow count.
One thing to remember: the object and sparrow counters won’t appear until you collect at least one of each.
You also cannot permanently lock yourself out of any achievement. If you make a mistake while collecting balls or filling a pit, you can continue playing and work toward the remaining upgrades.

All Sparrow and Collectible Achievements
First Sparrow – Rescue your first sparrow.
Find and collect any one of the hidden sparrows to unlock this achievement. Check your progress through stats.exe after collecting your first sparrow.
All the Chirps: Find every sparrow in the game.
You need to locate and collect all sparrows. They don’t make any chirping sounds before you pick them up, so don’t rely on sound to find them.
For the sparrow locations, check out this guide: Playrooms – All 20 Sparrows Location
Eagle Eye: Find all items for your office.
Search the different rooms and collect every hidden office item. You can check your collected object count under the Progress section in stats.exe.
Playrooms: All Hidden Item Locations (Office Decorations)
Free Lexi: Meow meow meow.
Out of Water – Find the Whale
Requirement: Find the whale.
Room required: Waiting Room
First, unlock the Waiting Room. Once you enter, head toward the left hallway and open the first door on your right.

You’ll find a maze inside. Follow the right-wall and then left-wall strategy to make your way through it until you reach the whale.

If you get lost, keep following the walls instead of taking random paths.

Door Operator – Discover Every Room
Requirement: Buy every room key.
You don’t actually need to enter all the rooms for this achievement. Purchasing all six keys is enough.
You can buy them in the following order:
| Key | Price |
|---|---|
| 2nd Door on the Right (Waiting Area) | €10 |
| 1st Door on the Right (Back Rooms) | €25 |
| 1st Door on the Left (Pool Room) | €50 |

| 3rd Door on the Right (Office) | €90 |
| 3rd Door on the Left (Hotel) | €100 |

Ball Pit and Delivery Achievements
Hooray
Requirement: Complete the first ball pit.
Fill the first ball pit with the required 1,500 balls to unlock this achievement.
10,000 Reasons to Quit
Requirement: Deliver 10,000 units.
Keep collecting balls and delivering them to the pits until your total deliveries reach 10,000.
And They Keep Coming
Requirement: Deliver 100,000 units.
Continue filling the ball pits and delivering balls. Once you reach 100,000 delivered units, the achievement will unlock.
Model Employee
Requirement: Fill all eight ball pits.
You need to complete all eight ball pits to meet this achievement’s requirement. Together, they require 199,000 balls.
You can collect up to 272,000 balls in total if you pick up every ball available in the game, so you don’t need to collect every single ball to complete the pits.
Clock Out – Fill the Final Ball Pit and Exit
Requirement: Fill the eighth ball pit and leave the Playroom.
Once all eight pits are full, head toward the back of the Playroom. Use the double push doors at the rear to exit and unlock Clock Out.
You can leave as soon as you have filled all eight pits. There is no need to collect every remaining ball in the game.
Colour Is a Distraction – Fill a Ball Pit With One Colour
Requirement: Fill one ball pit using balls of a single colour.
This achievement can be tricky because you cannot remove balls after placing them inside a pit. Picking up the wrong colour can waste a lot of time, so it’s better to prepare before starting.
Here are some useful tips:
- Avoid Ball Magnet: It doesn’t let you choose a specific ball colour, making it harder to control what you collect.
- Buy Quick Grab: This reduces the delay between picking up balls and makes collecting them faster.
- Vacuum Collect is optional: It lets you hold the left mouse button instead of repeatedly clicking. However, it can make you move too quickly and accidentally pick up another colour.
- Be careful with Big Pockets: Carrying more balls is useful, but picking up the wrong colour can ruin your bag.
- Choose an easy-to-recognize colour: Blue is a good option because it’s easier to distinguish from several other colours, including in darker areas.
If you accidentally collect a different colour, don’t put those balls into your target pit. Take the entire bag to another pit instead.
Which Ball Pit Should You Use?
I recommend using the first ball pit for this achievement. It requires only 1,500 balls, so you can finish it much faster than the larger pits.
Also, remember that balls collected by vents, robots, and other automatic equipment are delivered in the order they are completed. You don’t get to choose their colours before they enter a pit.
Avoid Wall Vents
If you enter a room with a Wall Vent, avoid purchasing it while working on this achievement.
Balls can spawn inside the vent, making them difficult or impossible to see. The vent can also pull in nearby balls automatically, which makes it harder to control which colours enter your pit.
