Alchemy is one of the most useful professions in WoW Forever, allowing you to turn herbs and other materials into powerful potions, elixirs, flasks, and special reagents. Whether you want to improve your character’s combat performance, support your party, or earn gold by selling consumables, Alchemy offers plenty of useful crafting options.

WoW Forever Alchemy Guide – Trainers, Recipes, Leveling
Alchemy is a primary profession that allows you to transform herbs, oils, minerals, and other reagents into consumable items.
These crafted items provide different benefits, including:
- Restoring health and mana.
- Increasing attributes such as strength, agility, and intellect.
- Providing resistance against elemental damage.
- Improving combat performance through temporary buffs.
- Creating special reagents used in other crafting recipes.
- Constructing useful camp features.
Alchemy is particularly useful for characters who regularly participate in dungeons, raids, PvP, and other challenging activities.
Alchemy Skill Levels
Alchemy has four profession ranks. You must reach the required skill level before learning the next rank.

As you craft items, your Alchemy skill increases. Recipes change color depending on how likely they are to grant a skill point.

For efficient leveling, prioritize orange and yellow recipes whenever possible.
Alchemy Camp Features
Alchemy allows you to craft special features for your campsite. These provide useful benefits to nearby players and require a Campfire nearby.
All Alchemy camp features share a one-hour cooldown.

Mana Well
The Mana Well restores mana to players sitting nearby.

The Mana Well’s effect is mutually exclusive with Blessing of Wisdom.
Fermenter
The Fermenter unlocks the creation of certain reagents and provides all the benefits of a Mana Well.
You can place it over an existing Mana Well to replace it.
Alchemy Laboratory
The Alchemy Laboratory is the highest-level Alchemy camp feature. It is required for recipes that specifically need an Alchemy Laboratory.
Like the Fermenter, it can replace an existing Mana Well.
Alchemy and the Legacy System
Leveling Alchemy contributes to your account’s Legacy progression.
You earn Legacy Points the first time a character reaches the following skill milestones:

| Dedicated Study | Increases your lowest tradeskill by 1. If all two Primary and three Secondary tradeskills are at 300, grants 2–4 random Elemental Essences instead. |
| Working Overtime | Increases your chance of gaining a skill point from primary, secondary, or class-based tradeskills by 20% at full rank. |
These perks can make profession leveling more convenient and rewarding.
Alchemy Trainers
You can learn Alchemy and upgrade your profession rank by visiting the appropriate trainers. Both Alliance and Horde have access to several trainers throughout the world.
