Where to Find Salmonid Research
Before you can check your collection, you’ll need to visit Big Man.
Big Man Location
You can find Big Man on the second floor of the Hideout Ship.
After speaking with him, open the Salmonid Research archive to:
- View every discovered Salmonid
- Track your completion percentage
- See missing enemies
- Check unlocked Fun Facts
- Claim milestone rewards
It’s a good habit to visit Big Man after every major expedition since your research progress updates automatically.

Boss Salmonids
Boss Salmonids are the strongest enemies you’ll encounter.
They usually feature:

- Powerful attacks
- Unique mechanics
- Better research progression
Whenever one appears, it’s generally worth focusing your team’s attention on eliminating it first.
Current known Boss Salmonids include:
- Big Shot
- Drizzler
More bosses are expected to be documented as players continue exploring the game.
Seasoned Salmonids
Seasoned Salmonids are tougher variants of standard enemies.
They’re stronger than Lesser Salmonids but don’t quite reach full boss status.
They often:
- Survive longer
- Deal increased damage
- Require more careful positioning

Lesser Salmonids
These are the enemies you’ll fight most frequently.
