Splatoon Raiders Gadget Tier List – Best Gadget for Power

Choosing the right gadget in Splatoon Raiders can completely change how your runs feel. Some gadgets excel at clearing huge enemy waves, while others shine during boss fights or give your tank incredible mobility. Since every tank class has its own exclusive gadget pool, it’s important to know which ones are worth investing in.

This tier list ranks every gadget for the Power, Speed, and Tactical Tanks based on overall usefulness, damage output, versatility, and performance throughout the game.

Splatoon Raiders Gadget Tier List

Tier Power Tank Speed Tank Tactical Tank
S Tier Shellacker Blast Boot Bombloon
A Tier Splatchet, Meteor Mitt Jump Bomb, Dash Bomb Shot Pot, Tether Wail
B Tier Splatellites, Spinwheel Flywire, Booyarang Hi-Fiver, Torqscrew

Best Power Tank Gadget Tier List

The Power Tank focuses on raw damage and eliminating enemies as quickly as possible. These gadgets are ranked based on boss damage, crowd control, and overall flexibility.

Tier Gadget
S Shellacker
A Splatchet, Meteor Mitt
B Splatellites, Spinwheel

S Tier – Shellacker

If you’re only going to master one Power Tank gadget, make it Shellacker.

What makes it so strong is its flexibility. It has two completely different firing modes that let you adapt to almost any situation.

The charged shot creates a powerful explosion that wipes out groups of enemies, while the quick-fire mode deals reliable single-target damage without forcing you to wait for a full charge.

Because of that, Shellacker performs equally well against regular enemy waves and bosses.

The only drawback is the long charging animation. Fortunately, using Bot Hop before charging greatly reduces this weakness by giving you extra mobility while preparing your attack.

Pros

  • Excellent crowd control
  • Strong boss damage
  • Safe ranged attacks
  • Extremely versatile

Cons

  • Long charge time

A Tier – Splatchet

Splatchet is one of the strongest melee gadgets available.

It slices through enemy groups incredibly quickly and deals excellent burst damage during boss openings.

The downside is obvious—you have to get close.

If enemies survive your attack, you’re often left standing right beside them, making positioning much more important than with ranged gadgets.

A Tier – Meteor Mitt

Meteor Mitt rewards aggressive players.

The farther you travel before attacking, the harder your charged strike hits.

Pairing it with Bot Hop lets you maximize its damage potential and quickly finish off elite enemies.

However, like Splatchet, poor positioning can leave you exposed after attacking.

B Tier – Splatellites

Splatellites surrounds your tank with rotating blades while painting nearby ground.

This gives it respectable area control and decent damage against enemies that get close.

Unfortunately, its short range means you’ll constantly place yourself in dangerous situations, making it much less reliable than the higher-ranked options.

B Tier – Spinwheel

Spinwheel looks flashy but is surprisingly inconsistent.

Most of its damage comes from the final explosion rather than the spinning projectile itself.

Landing that explosion exactly where you need it isn’t always easy, causing much of its potential damage to go to waste.

It can still work in certain situations, but compared to the other Power Tank gadgets, it’s much harder to use effectively.

Best Speed Tank Gadget Tier List

The Speed Tank revolves around movement, repositioning, and avoiding damage while constantly attacking.

Tier Gadget
S Blast Boot
A Jump Bomb, Dash Bomb
B Flywire, Booyarang

S Tier – Blast Boot

Blast Boot is easily the best Speed Tank gadget.

It combines mobility and offense into one ability.

Every leap lets you:

  • Escape dangerous attacks
  • Cross difficult terrain
  • Close the distance to enemies
  • Deal damage when landing

Having one gadget serve both offensive and defensive purposes makes Blast Boot incredibly valuable throughout the entire game.

A Tier – Jump Bomb

Jump Bomb offers excellent vertical mobility while dealing respectable damage.

It works especially well when chained with other movement gadgets, letting you dodge enemy attacks while maintaining constant pressure.

Although slightly less versatile than Blast Boot, it’s still among the strongest Speed Tank gadgets.

A Tier – Dash Bomb

Dash Bomb focuses more on horizontal movement.

It’s fantastic for:

  • Dodging attacks
  • Speedrunning objectives
  • Escaping danger
  • Closing gaps quickly

Many timed stages become significantly easier with Dash Bomb equipped.

B Tier – Flywire

Flywire lets you grapple toward targeted locations.

Its biggest advantage is full directional movement, making it useful in maps with lots of vertical exploration.

However, because it requires aiming before activation, it feels slower and less forgiving than Blast Boot.

B Tier – Booyarang

Booyarang throws spinning boomerangs that stay active for a short duration.

While gadget parts can improve its duration, its damage output remains fairly low.

Even worse, it interrupts the fast-paced movement style that makes the Speed Tank so effective.

Best Tactical Tank Gadget Tier List

The Tactical Tank specializes in controlling the battlefield, setting traps, and supporting teammates.

Tier Gadget
S Bombloon
A Shot Pot, Tether Wail
B Hi-Fiver, Torqscrew

S Tier – Bombloon

Bombloon is the strongest Tactical Tank gadget thanks to its incredible area damage.

You can deploy multiple explosive balloons around the battlefield and trigger massive chain reactions.

The more balloons you place, the larger the explosions become.

This allows you to:

  • Control enemy movement
  • Clear huge groups
  • Deal massive boss damage
  • Create safe zones for your team

It’s everything a Tactical Tank wants in one gadget.

A Tier – Shot Pot

Shot Pot starts out feeling fairly average.

Later in the game, however, it becomes one of the strongest support gadgets once you unlock powerful Gadget Parts.

For example, parts with Multishot can dramatically increase turret damage, allowing a single turret to contribute far more damage than expected.

It’s one of the best gadgets for players who enjoy passive damage while focusing on positioning.

A Tier – Tether Wail

Tether Wail creates damaging tethers that continuously hurt enemies passing through them.

Its raw damage isn’t particularly impressive.

Instead, its real strength comes from:

  • Area denial
  • Crowd control
  • Debuff application
  • Supporting teammates

While it performs better in multiplayer than solo play, it’s still an excellent Tactical gadget overall.

B Tier – Hi-Fiver

Hi-Fiver deploys a fan-shaped laser barrier that damages enemies entering its range.

Against large bosses, all beams can connect at once, resulting in surprisingly high damage.

However, its limited placement options make it much less flexible than Bombloon or Shot Pot.

B Tier – Torqscrew

Torqscrew is currently the weakest Tactical Tank gadget.

It has niche uses in certain encounters, but it struggles to compete with the stronger zoning tools available in the same category.

Unless you particularly enjoy its playstyle, there are generally better gadgets to invest your upgrade materials into.

Best Gadget for Each Tank

Tank Best Gadget Why It’s the Best
Power Tank Shellacker Incredible versatility with both crowd-clearing and boss damage.
Speed Tank Blast Boot Outstanding mobility combined with reliable offensive power.
Tactical Tank Bombloon Massive AoE damage, chain explosions, and exceptional battlefield control.

While every gadget has situations where it can shine, a few clearly stand above the rest. Shellacker is the most versatile choice for Power Tanks thanks to its dual firing modes, Blast Boot gives Speed Tanks unmatched mobility without sacrificing damage, and Bombloon dominates the Tactical category with devastating chain explosions and excellent area control.

As you unlock more Gadget Parts, some lower-ranked gadgets—especially Shot Pot—can become much stronger. Even so, if you’re looking for the safest upgrades and the best overall performance, the S Tier gadgets are the ones you should prioritize first.
