The clues are charming and fit the game’s cozy atmosphere, but they can also leave you wandering across town wondering if you’ve completely missed something obvious.
The nice thing is that you don’t have to spoil the entire quest for yourself. Each clue points to a specific location, and once you know where to search, the rest is simply paying attention to your surroundings.
This guide walks you through every clue location, explains how to interpret each riddle, and shows exactly where to find the hidden letters so you can complete Elvira’s treasure hunt and unlock the Raiders of the Lost Art achievement.
Moonlight Peaks Elvira’s Treasure Hunt Guide (All Clue Locations & Raiders of the Lost Art Achievement)
After receiving Elvira’s treasure hunt, you’ll be given a series of riddles instead of direct quest markers.
Each clue sends you to a different area of Moonlight Peaks, where you’ll need to locate a hidden letter before moving on to the next stage.
There are five clues in total.
Clue 1 – The Broken Lamp Bar
Riddle
Where spirits are poured and secrets are stored…
The wording points toward a place where people gather for drinks, making the destination easier than it first appears.
Where to Go
Head to The Broken Lamp Bar.
Enter the building and walk toward the upper-right corner of the interior.
Between the wine racks you’ll find an old letter resting on the floor.
Pick it up to receive the second clue.
If You’re Stuck
Think about places that serve drinks. The references to “spirits,” “magic,” and “wine” are all pointing toward the local tavern.
Clue 2 – Ambrosia Graveyard
Riddle
Where the quiet ones rest beneath moonlight’s gleam…
This clue sends you somewhere peaceful where memories are preserved.
Where to Go
Travel to Ambrosia Graveyard.
Walk toward the top-left corner of the cemetery.
Look behind the large bat-shaped headstone.
The letter is extremely well hidden, so rotate your camera slightly if necessary.
Collect it to unlock the next clue.
If You’re Stuck
Look for the largest gravestones rather than searching every grave individually.
Clue 3 – Webb of Wonders
Riddle
Where moonlight dances on ancient spells…
Since the clue mentions magical items and enchanted crafts, your destination is the town’s magic shop.
Where to Go
Visit Webb of Wonders.
Inside the building, stay on the first floor.
Walk toward the right side of the shop.
You’ll find the hidden letter leaning against a large decorative vase.
Interact with it to continue.
If You’re Stuck
You don’t need to search upstairs—the clue is hidden on the ground floor.
Clue 4 – Cave of Echoes
Riddle
Where moonlight is scarce and sound slowly sours…
This clue is a little trickier because it references several landmarks instead of naming the location directly.
Where to Go
Enter the Cave of Echoes.
After entering:
- Head east.
- Continue until you discover a small graveyard inside the cave.
- The area is surrounded by iron and copper ore deposits.
You’ll also notice a bell nearby.
The letter is lying on the ground just to the right of the bell, beside one of the graves.
If You’re Stuck
If you haven’t found the ore veins yet, you’re probably not far enough into the cave.
Clue 5 – Khazan Temple
Riddle
Where the moon and her followers watch the futures of all…
The final clue points toward the temple where the seers reside.
Where to Go
Travel to Khazan Temple.
Instead of entering the building, remain outside.
Head toward the eastern side of the temple.
Look beside the easternmost waterfall.
The final clue—and Elvira’s hidden treasure—is waiting near the carefully maintained plants beside the waterfall.

Tips for Solving Similar Riddles
If you enjoy solving the clues yourself before checking a guide, a few habits make future treasure hunts much easier.
- Read each riddle carefully before looking at the hints.
- Focus on landmarks instead of individual words.
- Search behind large decorations, furniture, and statues.
- Rotate the camera in cluttered areas to reveal hidden objects.
- Check both inside and outside buildings whenever a clue references a specific location.
Moonlight Peaks often rewards exploration, and many hidden objects blend naturally into the environment.
Elvira’s Treasure Hunt is a fun little side adventure that encourages you to slow down and appreciate the world of Moonlight Peaks. While a couple of clues are fairly straightforward, others—especially the hidden note in Ambrosia Graveyard and the one tucked away in the Cave of Echoes—can easily stump even attentive players.
Once you know where each clue leads, the entire hunt flows smoothly, and before long you’ll have completed the quest and added the Raiders of the Lost Art achievement to your collection.
