If you thought finding every regular Wee Pincer was enough, the game has one more challenge waiting for you. Dark Wee Pincers are a hidden collectible introduced after completing the original crab hunt, and they’re tucked away in places most players would never check during a normal playthrough.
The good news is that you don’t have to search every corner of Zegagrande blindly. Once the quest is unlocked, the game gives you clues, but some of these little crabs are still surprisingly easy to miss—especially the ones hidden behind ledges, inside structures, or dropped during boss encounters.
This guide lists all 20 Dark Wee Pincer locations, explains how to unlock them, and covers the rewards you’ll earn for rescuing every last one.
Granblue Fantasy Relink Dark Wee Pincer Locations Guide (All 20 Hidden Crab Locations)
Dark Wee Pincers don’t appear from the beginning of the game.
To unlock them, you must first finish the Save the Crustacean side quest series by rescuing every regular Wee Pincer.
After completing the questline:
- Speak with Lil Pincer once again.
- He’ll mention that several Dark Wee Pincers have escaped.
- Return to the Quest Counter.
- New Dark Wee Pincer markers will now become available throughout the world.
Only after completing these steps can you begin collecting them.
All Dark Wee Pincer Locations
There are 20 Dark Wee Pincers spread across the game’s chapters.
Chapter 1 – Sundappled Grove
Dark Wee Pincer #1
After meeting Lyria, continue until you reach the vines holding a large boulder.
- Cut the vines.
- Let the boulder fall.
- Drop down to the right.
- Follow the narrow path.
The Dark Wee Pincer is waiting on a ledge at the end.
Chapter 2 – The Hills

At the second Hallowed Ground, head behind the building at the back of the area.
Climb onto the structure and look inside the small opening to find the crab.

This one moves around.
Watch your map for its moving marker, then inspect one of the windmill blades to catch it.
Chapter 3 – Mines of Tempeal
Dark Wee Pincer #4
Find the treasure chest sitting on a cliff.
Instead of opening it immediately, jump down to the right side of the ledge.
The Dark Wee Pincer is hiding underneath.

After escaping the mine shaft:
- Climb onto the wooden platform.
- Defeat or ignore the nearby Goblins.
- Break the objects on the right side.
The crab is concealed behind them.
Chapter 4 – Enemy Battleship

Clear the enemies inside the ship first.
Once the area is safe, search near one of the large valves on the floor.
The Dark Wee Pincer is easy to spot afterward.
Chapter 5 – Mt. Neigelith & Mellusa Monastery
This chapter contains three Dark Wee Pincers.

While traveling toward Snowquilt Ravine, drop onto a medium-sized ledge before continuing.
Turn left to find the crab.
Dark Wee Pincer #8
Climb onto a large boulder and carefully drop onto several tiny ledges.
Eventually you’ll reach a small illuminated room containing the Dark Wee Pincer.
The jumps here are slightly awkward, so take your time.

Inside Mellusa Monastery, continue until Historiath opens the first door.
From there:
- Walk straight.
- Turn left.
- Climb onto the nearby ledge.
- Reach the gold treasure chest.
- Continue climbing the ledges to the right.
The crab is sitting on the highest ledge.
Chapter 6 – Dahli Relicbelt
Dark Wee Pincer #10
Unlike most crabs, this one immediately runs away.
Instead of chasing directly behind it, herd it toward the marked destination where it eventually stops.
You can then rescue it.

From the first location, look directly across to a climbable wall.
Scale it to reach another hidden Dark Wee Pincer.
Chapter 7 – The Phondam Isles
Dark Wee Pincer #12
Behind the Hallowed Ground is a narrow ledge.
Carefully drop down and continue through the rocky cavity.
The crab is hidden inside.
Dark Wee Pincer #13
During your encounter with Vulkan Bolla, attack its left claw (from the boss’s perspective).
When the monster retreats, the Dark Wee Pincer is dropped onto the battlefield.
Don’t forget to pick it up before leaving.
Chapter 8 – Seedhollow Castle
Dark Wee Pincer #14
During the bombardment sequence, much of the floor collapses.
Jump across the remaining platforms.
The crab is waiting near the larger surviving ledge.

Defeat Tayu’itar first.
After the fight, inspect the pavilion floor to collect another Dark Wee Pincer.
Chapter 9 – Pillar of Vayoi
Dark Wee Pincer #16
Activate the Monolith and travel through the wormhole.
After it becomes tangible again, head toward the nearby boulder.
The Dark Wee Pincer is beside it.

After defeating Managarmr, climb onto the nearby spiked ledge.
You’ll find another crab waiting there.
Chapter 0 – Skybound Heart
Although labeled Chapter 0, these areas become accessible later in the game.

Before entering the cave to recover the stolen goods, climb the grassy rock wall nearby.
Search inside the grass at the top.

During the second stolen goods retrieval objective:
- Reach the wooden walkway.
- Jump down.
- Search behind the crate.
The Dark Wee Pincer is tucked away behind it.

At the Pillar of Vayoi, leap across from the opposite high platform.
The final Dark Wee Pincer sits on the isolated ledge.
