One of the first big decisions you’ll make in 33 Immortals is choosing a weapon. Unlike many roguelikes where weapons are simply stat sticks, every weapon in 33 Immortals completely changes how you approach combat, teamwork, boss fights, and survivability.
Some weapons specialize in crowd control. Others focus on raw damage. A few are incredible support options that can carry an entire team through difficult encounters. And then there are weapons that may feel weak at first but become monsters once you unlock the right upgrades.
After spending time with each weapon, reviewing their damage values, Co-op Powers, upgrades, and overall usefulness across all content, here’s how the current weapon roster ranks.
S-Tier Weapons
These weapons provide outstanding performance in almost every situation and remain valuable regardless of team composition.
Glaive of Temperance
If I had to recommend one weapon to a new player looking for long-term success, it would probably be the Glaive.
The weapon offers exceptional damage, mobility, scaling, and one of the strongest Co-op Powers in the game.
Its base combo already hits incredibly hard, reaching up to 185.25 damage on later attacks, and the Temperance mechanic rewards skilled play without feeling overly restrictive.
What really pushes the Glaive into S-Tier is Aftershock.
Every successful attack can consume a stack to deal an additional 250 heavy damage at level 10. During large enemy encounters, the damage output becomes ridiculous, especially because Aftershock can trigger Costrikes.
Several upgrades also dramatically improve performance.
Thousand Cuts
Thousand Cuts increases attack speed by 22%, allowing the weapon to flow much more smoothly.
One Motion
One Motion turns backsteps into massive burst opportunities by doubling the next attack’s damage.
Unceasing Blows
This upgrade rewards consistent aggression with up to 60% additional damage.
The Glaive excels in nearly every activity, including boss fights, chamber clearing, ascensions, and team content.
Daggers of Greed
Daggers are easily one of the highest damage weapons in the game.
Their attack speed is incredible, reaching over three attacks per second, and the Greed mechanic rewards aggressive players with devastating Takedown damage.
The Co-op Power is where things become absurd.
At maximum bone count, players can gain up to 150% additional damage.
That alone would be strong, but Daggers already deal exceptional damage before factoring in that bonus.
Mortal Slashes
This upgrade allows charged attacks to deal significantly more damage against weakened enemies.
Quick Strike
Quick Strike increases attack speed even further, turning the weapon into a whirlwind of damage.
Patience
Patience creates powerful burst windows by doubling the damage of your next attack.
If you enjoy fast-paced combat and constantly staying on the offensive, Daggers are one of the strongest choices available.
A-Tier Weapons
These weapons are excellent and can perform at the highest level, but may require more specific playstyles or team compositions.
Sword of Justice
The Sword is one of the most balanced weapons in the game.
It offers:
- Reliable damage
- Strong support capabilities
- Crowd control
- Defensive utility
Its regenerative shields can save teammates during difficult fights, making it one of the most valuable support weapons available.
What many players underestimate is the Sword’s ability to parry projectiles.
Against certain encounters, this can completely change the outcome of a fight.
Final Justice
Final Justice dramatically improves counterattacks and gives the Sword impressive burst potential.
Spin Slash
Spin Slash adds much-needed area damage and improves crowd control.
Frenzy
Additional attack speed makes the weapon feel significantly smoother.
Sword may not top the damage charts every run, but it consistently provides value.
Bow of Hope
Bow of Hope remains one of the safest and most versatile ranged weapons.
The ability to attack from distance while maintaining strong damage output gives it tremendous flexibility.
Its Co-op Power is especially impressive.
At level 10, the volley can unleash over 6,000 damage per second across multiple targets.
Double Shot
Double Shot effectively doubles projectile output and dramatically increases burst damage.
Quick Shot
Additional fire rate improves overall DPS considerably.
Piercing Arrows
Piercing allows players to clear grouped enemies much more efficiently.
The Bow shines in both solo play and large group content.
Hooks of Gluttony
Hooks combine strong melee damage with excellent survivability.
The weapon’s base damage is already respectable, but several upgrades push it even further.
Its Co-op Power provides defensive shielding while simultaneously dealing damage through rotating projectiles.
Slingshot
Slingshot is one of the strongest upgrades available, allowing ranged hits to deal up to three times their normal damage.
Crippling Hits
Landing triple-damage marked attacks can completely destroy dangerous enemies.
Vengeful Slashes
Increased attack speed during Gluttony State significantly boosts DPS.
Hooks feel especially strong during prolonged fights where survivability becomes important.
B-Tier Weapons
These weapons are perfectly viable but generally require more investment or specific builds to reach their full potential.
Crossbows of Pride
Crossbows offer strong ranged pressure and excellent boss damage.
Their Ballista Co-op Power deals roughly 3,000 DPS and remains useful throughout the game.
However, the weapon can feel somewhat awkward compared to Bow of Hope.
Skipping Bolts
Ricocheting bolts improve crowd clearing significantly.
Explosive Brands
This upgrade provides satisfying burst damage and improves AoE potential.
Flurry of Bolts
While each individual projectile deals less damage, the increased projectile count creates impressive overall output.
Crossbows are strong but slightly more specialized than some higher-ranked options.
Staff of Sloth
The Staff excels at battlefield control.
Few weapons can lock down enemies as effectively.
Its ability to immobilize groups of enemies makes difficult encounters dramatically safer.
Lethargy
Lethargy transforms Torpor into a powerful slow combined with damage-over-time effects.
Outburst
Outburst provides large AoE damage and crowd control.
Torpor Wave
Converting Torpor into a damaging wave greatly improves consistency.
The Staff’s biggest issue is that much of its value comes from control rather than raw damage.
In coordinated teams, however, its strength becomes much more noticeable.
C-Tier Weapons
These weapons aren’t bad, but they generally require significantly more effort to achieve results comparable to higher-ranked options.
Scepter of Charity
The Scepter is currently one of the most unique weapons in the game.
Rather than focusing on direct damage, it revolves around blinding enemies and controlling battlefield positioning.
Its Co-op Power can gather enemies together, creating opportunities for teammates.
Unfortunately, its personal damage output often struggles to compete with other options.
Endless Blindness
This upgrade dramatically improves sphere effectiveness and should almost always be considered.
Astronomical Sphere
The ability to hold heavy spheres in place creates interesting gameplay opportunities.
Radiating Echo
Removing damage-over-time effects in exchange for stronger waves can be useful in specific builds.
The Scepter certainly has a place in organized groups, but for most players, other weapons tend to provide more consistent results.
Best Weapons for Beginners
If you’re just starting out, these are the easiest weapons to learn while still remaining powerful:
- Sword of Justice
- Bow of Hope
- Glaive of Temperance
- Hooks of Gluttony
These weapons offer forgiving gameplay, strong performance, and useful utility.
Best Weapons for Damage
If your goal is maximizing DPS, focus on:
- Daggers of Greed
- Glaive of Temperance
- Bow of Hope
- Crossbows of Pride
These weapons consistently produce some of the highest damage numbers in the game.
Best Support Weapons
Players who enjoy helping the team should consider:
- Sword of Justice
- Staff of Sloth
- Scepter of Charity
Each provides powerful utility that can significantly improve group survival.
One thing I’ve noticed after experimenting with every weapon is that 33 Immortals does an excellent job making each option feel distinct. There aren’t many outright bad weapons. Instead, the difference comes down to how much value they provide relative to the effort required.
Right now, Glaive of Temperance and Daggers of Greed sit comfortably at the top because they combine incredible damage with excellent scaling. Sword of Justice and Bow of Hope remain fantastic all-around choices, while Staff of Sloth and Scepter of Charity shine more in coordinated teams than random groups.
If you’re unsure where to start, pick up the Sword or Glaive first. They’re easy to learn, incredibly effective, and will teach you many of the core mechanics you’ll use throughout your journey in 33 Immortals.
