If you’re the type of player who can’t leave a mission until every collectible has been found, Voidling Bound can be surprisingly tricky. The game hides Golden Eggs, Mutagens, and Quackies across its missions, and while some are marked through objectives, others are completely optional secrets that are easy to miss during a normal playthrough.
The good news is that collectibles are permanent. Once you’ve picked one up, it’s yours forever and you’ll never need to collect it again. Even better, you don’t need to find everything in a single run. If you miss something, simply replay the mission and grab whatever was left behind.

Voidling Bound Mutagens, Golden Eggs, Quacky Locations Guide
Before jumping into individual missions, it’s worth understanding what each collectible does.
Mutagens
Mutagens are one of the game’s most important progression resources.
You’ll use them throughout your Voidling evolution journey, making every free Mutagen pickup worth grabbing whenever possible.
Mutagen collectibles appear in several types:
- Cryogenic
- Organic
- Pyro
- Cyber
- Plasma
Most missions contain multiple Mutagens hidden around the map.
Golden Eggs
Golden Eggs are among the most valuable collectibles in the game.
Unlike normal breeding or evolution systems, Golden Eggs provide access to unique mutations that cannot be acquired through standard evolution paths.
Each Golden Egg always contains a specific Voidling.
There is no RNG involved.
If a mission rewards a certain Golden Egg, you’ll always receive that exact mutation.
Quackies
Quackies are collectible duck-like plushies scattered throughout the game.
There are currently 26 total Quackies available.
Unlike Mutagens and Golden Eggs:
- They do not count toward star objectives.
- They are hidden collectibles.
- They contribute toward a collectible achievement.
Perhaps the best part is that every Quacky you discover gets displayed somewhere on your spaceship, turning your collection into a fun visual trophy room.

Since collectibles never respawn after being claimed, you only need to find each one once. If you’re missing a specific Golden Egg for breeding purposes or trying to complete the Quacky achievement, simply replay the relevant mission and focus entirely on the collectible you’re missing rather than worrying about finishing everything in a single run.
