Jumping into MythFall for the first time can feel a little intimidating. Within the first few minutes, you’re already fighting enemies, learning combat mechanics, climbing cliffs, and facing bosses. Unlike many Roblox RPGs where you can simply spam attacks, MythFall rewards good timing, patience, and learning its mechanics.
The best advice I can give is not to worry too much about getting the perfect race or strongest build right away. Your first few hours should be about understanding how the game works. Once you’re comfortable with the controls and progression system, everything else becomes much easier.
Here’s everything every beginner should know before starting their adventure.
Learn the Controls
Before worrying about builds or equipment, spend a few minutes getting comfortable with the controls. Combat feels much smoother once you know which key does what.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| Left Click (M1) | Light Attack |
| 1 | Equip Weapon |
| 2 | Equip Magic |
| 3 | Equip Fighting Style |
| R | Heavy Attack |
| F (Hold) | Block |
| F (Tap) | Parry |
| Q | Dodge |
| Tab | Lock On / Lock Off Enemy |
| Shift | Sprint |
| C | Crouch |
| Shift + C | Slide |
| G | Climb Walls |
One thing you’ll notice pretty quickly is that dodging and blocking are just as important as attacking. Trying to mash your way through every fight usually doesn’t end well, especially against bosses.
Complete the Tutorial
It might be tempting to skip through the tutorial as quickly as possible, but it’s actually worth paying attention.
The tutorial introduces nearly every core mechanic you’ll use throughout the game, including sword combat, heavy attacks, magic, blocking, parrying, climbing, grappling, and boss fights.
By the end of it, you’ll already have a solid understanding of how MythFall’s combat works.
How Leveling Works
Your character gains experience by defeating enemies, completing quests, progressing through the story, and defeating bosses.
While grinding enemies is an option, following the main questline is usually the fastest way to level up during the early game because you’ll earn experience while also unlocking new areas and features.
If you happen to start as a Human, you’ll also receive a small bonus to Experience Gain, helping you progress slightly faster.
Understanding Your Stats
Knowing what each stat does makes building your character much easier.
Health increases how much damage you can survive before being defeated.
Defense improves your durability and helps reduce incoming damage.
Weapon Strength increases the damage dealt with swords and other weapons.
Fighting Strength boosts damage from your fighting style abilities.
Magic Strength improves the power of your spells and magical attacks.
Ether acts as your resource for casting magic and abilities.
Critical Chance increases how often your attacks land critical hits.
Critical Strength increases the damage those critical hits deal.
Instead of spreading your upgrades across everything, it’s usually better to focus on the stats that match your preferred playstyle.
Choose a Playstyle Early
One mistake many new players make is trying to become good at everything.
If you’re planning to use swords, focus on melee-related stats.
If you enjoy casting spells, build around Magic Strength and Ether.
Trying to split your investment across multiple playstyles early on often leaves your character feeling weaker than someone who specializes.
Learn Boss Patterns
Boss fights are less about dealing huge amounts of damage and more about recognizing attack patterns.
Watch how bosses move, dodge heavy attacks, and wait for safe openings before attacking.
Sometimes landing two or three clean hits is much better than forcing a long combo and getting punished.
Patience goes a long way in MythFall.
How to Get More Race Spins
If you aren’t happy with your current race, you’ll need Race Spins to reroll.
The easiest way to get free Race Spins is by redeeming active MythFall codes whenever new ones become available. These codes often reward Race Spins along with Magic Spins, Gold, Astral Shards, and other useful items.
As you continue playing, you’ll also earn additional Race Spins through normal progression. Completing quests, opening reward chests, participating in events, and reaching certain milestones can all reward extra spins over time.
If you want more immediately, Race Spins can also be purchased with Robux from the in-game shop.
I’d recommend saving your spins until you’ve decided whether you prefer melee, magic, or critical-hit builds. Using them too early often leads to wasting valuable rerolls.
Don’t Waste Your Resources
Early-game resources can be surprisingly valuable.
Avoid spending every Race Spin or Magic Spin as soon as you receive it. Play for a while, learn which combat style you enjoy most, and then start rerolling if necessary.
The same goes for Gold and other upgrade materials. Spending them carefully will make progression much smoother later.
MythFall has a bit of a learning curve, but that’s also what makes it enjoyable. Once the controls become second nature and you understand how stats, races, and progression work together, the game starts to feel much more rewarding. Take your time during the opening hours, experiment with different playstyles, and don’t feel pressured to chase the rarest race immediately. Building a character that matches how you like to play is much more important than simply picking the rarest option.
