Anime Overseer Tier List (July 2026) – Best Units

If you’re trying to decide which units deserve your Gems, evolution materials, and Trait Rerolls, this tier list should help. Since Anime Overseer is still in Early Access, the meta is constantly evolving, but these rankings are based on each unit’s overall performance in Story Mode, Nightmare, Infinity Express, and Raid content.

Rather than looking only at raw DPS, this list also considers survivability, utility, ease of progression, and long-term value.

Tier Units
S Tier Brolu (LSSJ), Michael (Progenitor), Joo (Maximum Meteor), Freezer (Planet Conqueror), AOSA (Destructive Death), Pain (Tendo)
A Tier Naoyma (24 FPS), Rangoka (Ablaze), Choooo (Supernova), Nazuka (Exploding Blood), Enmu (Blissful Dream), Frier (Evolved)
B Tier Odo (Kamui), Den (Rapsidity), Muki (Singularity)

S Tier

These are the strongest units currently available. They’re excellent investments and remain effective from the early game all the way into endgame content.

Unit Why It’s S Tier
Brolu (LSSJ) Incredible endgame DPS that can erase bosses and elite enemies with the right build.
Michael (Progenitor) Outstanding tank/DPS hybrid with extra survivability and excellent sustained damage.
Joo (Maximum Meteor) One of the best burn DPS units in the game, capable of carrying raids and Nightmare stages.
Freezer (Planet Conqueror) The best debuff support currently available, greatly increasing your team’s overall damage.
AOSA (Destructive Death) Strong hybrid unit with lifesteal, dodge, and impressive frontline damage.
Pain (Tendo) Powerful crowd-control support whose stuns make difficult stages much easier.

A Tier

Excellent units that can clear nearly every activity in the game. While they aren’t quite as dominant as S Tier, they’re still worth evolving.

Unit Why It’s A Tier
Naoyma (24 FPS) One of the fastest attackers in the game and arguably the best beginner carry.
Rangoka (Ablaze) Balanced damage and speed make him reliable across most game modes.
Choooo (Supernova) Strong burn damage but usually works better alongside another primary DPS.
Nazuka (Exploding Blood) Durable tank that also contributes respectable damage.
Enmu (Blissful Dream) Reliable support unit with useful crowd-control abilities.
Frier (Evolved) Great boss killer, though slower attack speed keeps him below S Tier.

B Tier

These units perform well early on but usually get replaced once stronger options become available.

Unit Why It’s B Tier
Odo (Kamui) Fast early-game unit, but low damage limits his usefulness later.
Den (Rapsidity) Excellent attack speed but lacks the damage needed for tougher content.
Muki (Singularity) Decent support option, although stronger support units become available later.
