As your account grows, stronger units will naturally come your way.
Best Units to Aim For Early
Not every Mythic has the same value during the early game. Some characters help you progress much faster than others.
Viol Grace
If there’s one DPS unit worth chasing early, it’s Viol Grace.
He deals excellent damage right from the start and becomes even stronger once his ability activates.
His skill provides:

If you summon him early, he’ll likely carry your account through most of the early content.
Kim
Kim is one of the most unique units currently available.

Even if Kim isn’t your main damage dealer, his flexibility makes him valuable throughout progression.
Ancient
Ancient might not seem amazing at first glance, but skipping him is a mistake.
He’s required for unlocking one of the game’s strongest Secret Units.
His evolved passive allows him to collect Constellations whenever enemies are defeated.
Eventually you’ll need roughly 1,850 Constellations to unlock the special Secret character.
Because of this, the earlier you obtain Ancient, the sooner you can begin making progress toward that long-term goal.
Think of him as an investment rather than immediate power.
Support Units
Damage isn’t everything.
You’ll also want support characters that strengthen your entire team.
Current standout supports include:
- Lloyd
- Yori
One specializes in farming while the other provides valuable damage buffs.
Support characters usually don’t top the damage charts themselves, but they’ll increase the effectiveness of your entire team.
Other Good Early Units

Should You Chase Secret Units?
Secret Units are incredibly powerful, but they’re designed as long-term goals.

Understanding the Refining System

Many players assume it’s just another upgrade system.

Don’t Waste Your Trait Rerolls

Trait Rerolls are much rarer than they appear.
Many new players keep rerolling because they’re chasing extremely rare Mythic or 0.1% Traits.
That’s usually a bad idea.
The game is balanced well enough that many players complete difficult content using Legendary Traits.

That means even if today’s challenge doesn’t give the exact scroll you’re looking for, you’re still making progress.

- Challenge rewards
- Gold Shop
Always keep farming these because future updates will introduce new units that need the same materials.
Having extra scrolls saved up will save you hours later.
Story Mode Progression
Story Mode should be your main priority.
It unlocks:
- Better rewards
- Evolution materials
- New farming stages
- More account progression
Each world contains multiple Acts before eventually leading into Infinite Mode.
Every Chronicle Stage also drops specific evolution materials for different characters.
If you need a certain evolution item, check which Chronicle Stage drops it instead of farming random maps.
This saves an incredible amount of time.
Gold Shop Tips
The Gold Shop refreshes every day.
Many players ignore it.
Don’t.
Always check for:
- Scrolls
- Food
- Useful upgrade materials
Gold becomes much easier to earn later, so spending it on valuable progression materials is usually worth it.
Raids Explained
Raids are considered endgame content.
If you’re new, don’t worry about clearing them immediately.

For example, during one raid the temple lights up in different colors.

Choose incorrectly and the boss completely restores its health.

The Quest menu is much more important than it first appears.

Join a Guild Early
Even if you’re a solo player, joining a Guild is one of the smartest things you can do.
Guilds unlock at Level 10.
As your guild gains experience, everyone benefits from additional bonuses.
Some of the later Guild upgrades include:
- More member slots
- Gold boosts
- Experience boosts
- Unit EXP boosts
- Shop discounts
- Movement speed bonuses
- Better Shiny chances
These bonuses continue improving as the guild levels up, making them useful for every player regardless of spending level.
