In this post, we will show you how to unlock the wishing feature, where to find the NPC, and what you need to do to get a limited rod through the new system.
The process requires visiting the Fish Fest area, completing part of an NPC quest line, and increasing your Idol Level. Once everything is finished, you can interact with the wishing NPC and select an available rod.
Go to the Fish Fest Island
The first thing we need to do is travel to Fish Fest Island.
Once you arrive, head toward the back of the area. You should be looking for a floating island in the distance.
Make your way toward the floating island and continue up through the waterfall until you reach the top.
Once you get there, you will find an NPC that is important for unlocking the wishing system.
Complete Two Parts of the NPC’s Quest Line
After reaching the top of the floating island, talk to the NPC.
You need to complete two parts of this NPC’s quest line before you can unlock the ability to wish for rods.
One of the quests will ask you to buy something from a shop.
Fortunately, you don’t have to travel far to find it. The Shop NPC is located directly in front of the quest NPC, so you can quickly complete that part of the requirement without getting lost.
Finish the required quest stages before moving on to the next requirement.
Reach Idol Level 5
After completing the required parts of the quest line, you need to increase your Idol Level to Level 5.
To do this, look around the area for the statues that have a small red gem-like object above their heads.
There are multiple statues around the island, and you can continue completing their quests to gain Idol Levels.
Keep working through the available quests until you reach Idol Level 5.
Once you reach Level 5, you are ready to access the wishing NPC.
Find the Wishing NPC
After reaching Idol Level 5, head toward the back of the island.
Look for the area with the large blue gem.
The NPC near this location is where you can wish for limited rods.
Interact with the NPC to open the wishing system.
Choose the Limited Rod You Want
If you do not already own every rod available through the wishing system, you should be able to cycle through the available rods.
Look through the selection and choose the rod you want to obtain.
After selecting a rod, the game will give you the original quest line for that specific rod.
This means you still need to complete the requirements associated with that rod before receiving it.
Once you finish its original quest line, you will obtain the limited rod.
What If No Rods Appear?
If you interact with the wishing NPC and nothing appears, there is a possible reason.
Players who already own all of the rods available through the wishing system may not see any rods to select.
The wishing menu is intended to help players obtain rods that they do not already own. So, if you already have every available rod, there may be nothing left to wish for.
Here is the full process for wishing for a limited rod in Fisch:
- Go to Fish Fest Island.
- Travel toward the floating island at the back.
- Go up through the waterfall and reach the top.
- Find and talk to the quest NPC.
- Complete two parts of the NPC’s quest line.
- Complete the required shop objective using the nearby Shop NPC.
- Reach Idol Level 5 by completing quests from the statues around the area.
- Go to the back of the island and find the blue gem.
- Interact with the wishing NPC.
- Select an available rod you want.
- Complete that rod’s original quest line to unlock it.
Once you have completed all the requirements, the wishing system gives you another chance to work toward limited rods that you do not currently own.
