The Anomalous Investigation in Fisch sends you on a little island-hopping trip to collect six Broken Stars. The quest doesn’t exactly make the search easy, though, since the stars are spread across some familiar locations and can be easy to miss if you don’t know which landmarks to check.
If you’re trying to finish the objective without sailing around aimlessly, here are all six Broken Star locations and the quickest way to reach each one.
How to Find All Broken Star 6 for the Anomalous Investigation Fisch
First, head to Northern Expedition and travel to Boro.
Once you arrive, look for the small shack near the area. There is an NPC inside who gives you the Anomalous Investigation quest. Talk to him and accept the objective to gather six Broken Stars.
After that, you can start collecting them in any order. I recommend following the route below.
1. Moosewood Broken Star Location
The first Broken Star is located at Moosewood.
Head toward the lighthouse and go up to the area around it. The Broken Star is sitting near the lighthouse, so you should spot it fairly quickly once you’re in the right place.
This is probably the easiest one to grab because the lighthouse is such an obvious landmark.
2. Musgrove Broken Star Location
Next, sail over to Musgrove.
When you arrive, look for the guard tower. The second Broken Star is located close to the tower.
You don’t need to explore the deeper parts of Musgrove for this one. Just head toward the guard tower and check around its immediate surroundings.
3. Ancient Isle Broken Star Location
The third star is waiting at Ancient Isle.
Make your way to the top of Ancient Isle, then head around toward the back section. Look for a tent in this area.
The Broken Star is positioned right beside the tent.
So, if you’re already at the top of Ancient Isle, don’t start searching around the entire island. Go straight toward the tent and check its side.
4. Terrapin Broken Star Location
For the fourth Broken Star, travel to Terrapin.
Once you’re on the island, head toward the back of Terrapin. The star is located in this rear section of the island.
It’s another fairly simple location once you know which side of the island you’re supposed to check.
5. Roslit Volcano Broken Star Location
Now it’s time for Roslit Volcano.
Head toward the top of the volcano. The fifth Broken Star can be found up there.
You don’t need to spend much time checking the lower areas. Keep climbing until you reach the upper section and then look around for the star.
6. Snowcap Broken Star Location
The final Broken Star is on Snowcap.
Make your way to the top of Snowcap and check the back area. You’ll find the Broken Star next to an icicle.
Pick it up and that should bring your collection to 6/6 Broken Stars.

Best Route for All 6 Broken Stars
If you want to get them without constantly checking the map, I’d recommend this order:
Moosewood → Musgrove → Ancient Isle → Terrapin → Roslit Volcano → Snowcap
The locations are much easier to spot when you’re looking for the landmarks rather than trying to find the Broken Stars themselves.
Once you’ve collected the sixth one, you’ve completed the Gather Six Broken Stars portion of the Anomalous Investigation. You can then continue with the quest instead of wasting time sailing back to locations you’ve already checked.
