Haze Seas Race Tier List – Best Races, Buffs, Stats

Your race is one of the first things you’ll get in Haze Seas, and while it might not seem like a huge deal early on, it becomes much more important as you progress. Every race comes with its own passive bonuses, ranging from extra Health and Stamina to faster movement, Life Steal, or even exclusive abilities like Conqueror’s Haki.

Once you reach Level 2200, you can also evolve your race into V2, unlocking even stronger passives that can completely change how it performs.

Haze Seas Race Tier List – Best Races, Buffs, Stats

If you’re wondering which race is worth keeping and which ones are better rerolled, here’s our complete Haze Seas Race Tier List.

S Tier

These races provide the strongest overall passives and remain useful throughout the entire game.

D. Clan – The best race in Haze Seas thanks to its excellent Health and Stamina boosts alongside exclusive access to Conqueror’s Haki. After upgrading to V2, the stat bonuses become even stronger while Conqueror’s Haki costs less stamina to use, making D. Clan an outstanding choice for PvE, PvP, and every stage of progression.

Dragonborne – Dragonborne is an excellent all-around race that focuses on survivability. The extra Health and Health Regeneration help during difficult boss fights, while V2 adds a Glide ability that greatly improves mobility when traveling between islands. It’s one of the safest races to keep if you want a reliable build.

A Tier

These races are incredibly strong but slightly more situational than the S Tier options.

Human – Human is perfect for players who enjoy aggressive gameplay. Its passive movement speed boost activates whenever your HP drops below 70%, allowing you to chase opponents or escape danger. The V2 upgrade makes this speed boost even stronger while also granting an additional Observation Haki dodge, making Human especially valuable for PvP.

Demon – Demon focuses entirely on combat by giving your attacks Life Steal, allowing you to recover health while fighting. V2 improves the healing effect and introduces Hellfire Circles that occasionally appear after dashing, adding extra damage during battles without requiring additional input.

B Tier

These races offer useful bonuses that make progression easier, although they don’t have the same combat impact as the higher-ranked races.

Beastborne – Beastborne is built around movement and stamina. Even at V1 it provides faster walking speed and extra stamina, while V2 greatly increases both bonuses. It’s a fantastic race for players who spend lots of time completing quests, farming NPCs, or exploring the map.

Fishborne – Fishborne completely changes how you interact with the ocean. It starts by increasing your swimming speed, and its V2 upgrade is one of the most unique in the game, granting Water Immunity for Devil Fruit users, doubling swim speed, and providing a temporary movement speed boost whenever you leave the water. If you spend a lot of time sailing or hunting Sea Events, Fishborne is incredibly convenient.

C Tier

While still useful, this race focuses more on exploration than combat.

Skyborne – Skyborne specializes in aerial movement instead of increasing your damage or survivability. Its stronger first Skywalk makes reaching higher locations much easier, while V2 unlocks Glide, allowing you to stay in the air much longer. It’s an enjoyable race for exploring islands, but its combat passives simply can’t compete with the stronger races.

How to Unlock Race V2

Every race follows the same evolution process, so you won’t need to complete different quests depending on which race you choose.

First, you’ll need to reach Level 2200. After that, visit the Race Engineer NPC and complete the following tasks:

  • Defeat one Sea Beast.
  • Collect 50 Treasure Chests around the map.
  • Defeat the Zenith Boss.

Once you’ve completed every objective, return to the Race Engineer and pay:

  • 1,000,000 Beli
  • 100 Gems

Your race will then evolve into its V2 version. If you reroll into a different race later, you can repeat this questline to unlock that race’s V2 as well.

If you’re lucky enough to roll D. Clan, it’s easily the best race to keep thanks to its incredible stat boosts and exclusive Conqueror’s Haki ability. Dragonborne is another excellent choice for players who value survivability, while Human and Demon are fantastic options for PvP and boss fights.

Players who enjoy exploring the map may prefer Fishborne because of its Water Immunity and superior swimming speed, while Beastborne offers excellent quality-of-life bonuses for general progression. Skyborne remains the weakest overall race in terms of combat, but it’s still a fun pick if mobility is your highest priority.
