Granblue Fantasy Relink Endless Ragnarok Walkthrough Guide

If you’ve finally wrapped up the original story and jumped into the Endless Ragnarok update, you’re probably wondering why the new content isn’t showing up immediately. I ran into the same confusion at first because the expansion doesn’t simply unlock after updating the game. Instead, it asks you to complete a few important requirements before the story officially begins.

The good news is that once you know what to do, progressing through the new storyline is pretty straightforward. The expansion introduces brand-new story quests, the Conflux mode, Chaos Rank progression, and the mysterious Ragnalia monsters that become a major part of the adventure.

This Granblue Fantasy Relink Endless Ragnarok Walkthrough Guide walks you through every objective in order, explains what’s happening during each stage, and points out a few things that are easy to miss so you don’t waste time wondering where to go next.

How to Unlock the Endless Ragnarok Expansion

Before you can start the Epilogue, you must complete the Proud Quest: The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage.

This quest only becomes available after clearing every other Proud difficulty quest available at the Quest Counter. Think of it as the game’s way of making sure your party is prepared before entering the expansion.

Once Bahamut’s Rage has been cleared, the Endless Ragnarok storyline becomes available.

Step 1 – Start the Back Alley Mystery Side Quest

Your first destination is Seedhollow.

As you explore the town, a Zathba Henchman will call out to you. Walk over and interact with him to enter a hidden back alley.

Inside, accept the Back Alley Mystery side quest.

Although it seems like a small side mission, it’s actually the trigger that begins the expansion’s chain of events, so don’t skip it.

Step 2 – Complete “More Strangeness Afoot”

After finishing New Mr. Fix It during Chapter 0, return to Seedhollow once again.

You’ll now find another side quest called More Strangeness Afoot.

This quest continues investigating the strange incidents happening throughout the skydom and serves as the bridge between the original story and Endless Ragnarok.

Step 3 – Meet Historiath and Rolan

Your next stop is Folca Church.

Inside, you’ll find Rolan and Historiath, who explain that something is terribly wrong following the resurrection of Angra Mainyu and the events surrounding Versa’s imprisonment inside the Void.

This conversation sets up the entire expansion, introducing the mysterious anomalies spreading throughout the world.

Rather than immediately throwing you into combat, the game spends some time establishing why these new events are happening, making the story feel connected instead of feeling like separate DLC content.

Step 4 – Visit the Quest Counter

Leave the church and head toward the Quest Counter.

Near the counter you’ll notice an NPC called the Mellose Acolyte, marked with a blue quest icon.

Speak with them to be transported to Mt. Neigelith, where you’ll discover one of the mysterious Conflux Gates.

This location introduces one of the expansion’s biggest gameplay features.

Step 5 – Complete Your First Conflux Run

Before moving forward, you’ll need to enter the Conflux.

Unlike regular quests, Conflux is a solo roguelike-style activity where every run contains randomized encounters, temporary buffs, and different enemy combinations.

Don’t worry about playing perfectly during your first attempt.

The objective here is simply to complete one full Conflux cycle.

Once you finish the run and choose to exit, another conversation with Historiath and Rolan begins, advancing the story.

Step 6 – Reach Conflux Cycle 3

The game doesn’t stop after your first clear.

You’ll now need to continue progressing until you complete Conflux Cycle 3.

After finishing it, return to Folca.

At the Quest Counter you’ll meet Seofon and Tweyen, who introduce one of the expansion’s biggest mysteries—the Ragnalia.

These aren’t ordinary monsters.

Ragnalia are creatures that have mutated due to the strange disturbances affecting the skydom.

Before trusting your abilities, however, the Eternals decide to test whether you’re strong enough for what’s coming next.

Step 7 – Complete the Chaos Rank-Up Quest

Once the conversation finishes, a brand-new Chaos Rank-Up Quest becomes available.

Accept it from the Quest Counter.

This quest pits you against members of the Eternals, making it one of the first real difficulty spikes in the expansion.

Winning the battle rewards you with the Fatebreaker rank.

This promotion officially unlocks the next stage of Endless Ragnarok and opens access to additional Chaos content.

If your equipment feels outdated, don’t hesitate to spend some time upgrading your weapons before attempting this fight.

Step 8 – Investigate Sundappled Grove

After becoming a Fatebreaker, rumors begin spreading about a dangerous creature appearing inside Sundappled Grove.

Travel there to investigate.

This section shifts the story away from preparation and into actually hunting the mysterious Ragnalia.

Step 9 – Defeat Earthchurner Ragnalia

Inside the forest you’ll encounter Earthchurner Ragnalia, a mutated Quakadile.

Interestingly, you don’t completely defeat it here.

Instead, your objective is to inflict Break on the monster.

Once the Break gauge is triggered, the Ragnalia retreats from battle.

Although it escapes, the encounter proves that these creatures are far stronger than normal monsters and sets up future Chaos quests.

If you’re struggling during this fight, focus on building the Break gauge instead of trying to burn through its health as quickly as possible.

Step 10 – Finish the Chaos Key Quests

Return to Folca once the battle ends.

More Chaos-related quests become available from the Quest Counter.

Complete every required Chaos Key Quest to continue advancing the expansion storyline.

These missions gradually reveal more information about the Ragnalia while also unlocking additional endgame activities and progression systems.

How to Collect All Ragnalia Memories

Eventually, the story asks you to gather eight Ragnalia Memories.

This is one objective that catches many players off guard because the game doesn’t immediately explain where they’re found.

The memories are earned naturally by completing Chaos Quests.

One of the earliest memories can be obtained during Pilgrims of Self-Delusion, although additional memories continue appearing throughout later Chaos missions.

Whenever you’ve earned one, a short cutscene will automatically play, letting you know the memory has been collected.

Simply continue clearing Chaos Quests until all eight memories have been obtained.

There’s no need to farm random enemies or revisit previous story missions.

Tips Before You Begin Endless Ragnarok

If you’re about to jump into the expansion, here are a few things I’d recommend based on my experience:

  • Finish every available Proud Quest before looking for the expansion.
  • Upgrade your main weapons before attempting the Chaos Rank-Up battle.
  • Spend some time learning Conflux since it’s required for story progression.
  • Don’t rush through Chaos Quests—they’re the main source of Ragnalia Memories.
  • Focus on breaking tougher bosses instead of forcing quick kills.

I really like how Endless Ragnarok doesn’t simply throw new bosses at you and call it a day. It gradually introduces every new mechanic—from Conflux to Chaos Ranks and the Ragnalia system—while tying everything into the game’s ongoing story. The pacing feels much better than unlocking everything at once, and by the time you’re chasing all eight Ragnalia Memories, you’ve naturally learned the expansion’s core systems.

If you’re planning to tackle everything the DLC has to offer, treat this walkthrough as your roadmap. Follow the steps in order, keep your gear upgraded, and don’t ignore Conflux progression, since it’s just as important as the story quests themselves.
