Godforge Tier List – Best Heroes & Characters (UPDATED)

The beta for Godforge has finally arrived, and players are already trying to figure out which heroes are actually worth investing resources into early on. While every account will look different depending on summon luck, some characters clearly stand out thanks to strong utility, survivability, turn meter control, and reliable damage.

Since beta progression is heavily focused on campaign pushing and dungeon farming rather than late-game PvP or boss content, several heroes that normally scale into endgame modes are slightly weaker for now. Meanwhile, wave-clearing carries, healers, and turn meter manipulators are dominating early progression.

This Godforge Tier List breaks down the best Rare, Epic, and Legendary heroes to build during the current beta environment, while also explaining why certain characters are rising above the rest.

Godforge Tier List – Best Heroes & Characters (UPDATED)

Rare heroes are surprisingly important early because they are easier to awaken and promote. Some of them can carry accounts through large portions of the campaign.

S Tier Rare Heroes

Chunga

Chunga is arguably the best Rare healer in the beta because she brings consistent healing, cleanse utility, and defensive support all in one kit.

Her healing triggers frequently, especially when allies are under Vanish, and she also provides Accuracy Up and Resistance Up for the entire team. Block Debuffs on a Rare support unit is incredibly valuable for dungeon progression, making her one of the safest investments for new players.

Isold

Isold remains one of the strongest Rare utility heroes thanks to excellent turn meter support and reliable team utility.

Speed manipulation is already proving incredibly important in beta, and Isold fits perfectly into almost every early-game composition.

Muse

Muse stands out because of her revive utility and turn meter boosts, both of which are extremely powerful in campaign content.

She also helps teams cycle ultimates faster by increasing Divinity generation, allowing stronger carries to use abilities more frequently.

A Tier Rare Heroes

Ceridwen

Ceridwen is one of the most interesting support units among the Rares because of her follow-up attack synergy and retaliate support.

She can push turn meter, provide Speed Up and Faith Up, and reduce incoming damage for Order allies. Her kit scales particularly well in coordinated teams built around follow-up attacks.

Sargon

Sargon brings solid attack-down utility alongside extra ally attacks, making him surprisingly useful for progression teams.

Radiance support on his ultimate also gives him long-term value in dungeon compositions.

Weak Rare Heroes To Avoid Early

Asag

Asag struggles heavily because his kit depends on Blaze and Petrify synergy, but he cannot consistently maintain those debuffs himself.

Without dedicated setup support, he feels extremely inconsistent.

Blunt

Blunt currently suffers from poor scaling and underwhelming impact after recent balance adjustments.

Melban & Shroom

Melban and Shroom simply lack enough impact compared to stronger Rare supports and damage dealers.

Best Epic Heroes In Godforge

Epic heroes are where teams begin to gain stronger synergy and specialization. Several Epic units already look powerful enough to compete with Legendaries in certain situations.

S Tier Epic Heroes

Brunhild

Brunhild is one of the strongest defensive heroes currently available in beta.

She provides:

  • Attack Down
  • Defense Up
  • Shielding
  • Radiance support
  • Excellent survivability

Once awakened, her utility becomes even stronger, making her one of the safest Epic investments in the game.

Divana

Divana excels because of her incredible debuff pressure and retaliation mechanics.

Her basic attack becomes especially dangerous when paired with follow-up attack effects or powerful imprints like Shalottol. Attack Down and Speed Down on her core skill also make difficult dungeon waves much safer.

Gary

Gary may secretly be one of the strongest defenders in the game once properly awakened.

Taunt, Radiance, Retaliate, and strong defensive utility give him exceptional frontline presence.

Mezu & Gozu

Mezu and Gozu are extremely strong together because their kits constantly trigger joint attacks.

Their synergy creates nonstop pressure through:

  • Follow-up attacks
  • Defense reduction
  • Attack reduction
  • Taunt application
  • Drain effects

If you summon both, they are absolutely worth building together.

Inari

Inari offers some of the strongest healing among Epic supports while also boosting Radiance and Faith for allies.

Reducing Divinity costs gives him even more value during longer battles.

Shupetotec

Shupetotec deals enormous damage despite bleed teams not being fully optimized yet in beta.

His raw damage output alone keeps him in the top tier.

Strong A Tier Epic Heroes

Morthos

Morthos looks extremely strong for campaign progression thanks to huge healing values and turn meter support.

Wave-based content heavily favors sustain units like him.

Musashi

Musashi received major buffs and now looks terrifying as a single-target nuker.

He:

  • Ignores defense
  • Gains Precision
  • Hits multiple times
  • Scales aggressively through passives

He may become one of the best boss killers later.

Koschei

Koschei brings solid utility and reliable value in most team setups.

Shalottol

Shalottol is especially valuable because of his imprint effect.

His follow-up attack synergy can:

  • Heal allies
  • Increase Divinity
  • Enable aggressive combo teams

Many players are already prioritizing his imprint over some weaker Legendary options.

Weak Epic Heroes During Beta

Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh currently lacks meaningful impact compared to stronger Epic carries.

Gogmagog

Gogmagog provides decent Attack Down utility but struggles to justify a team slot.

Osiris

Osiris simply feels underwhelming compared to other Epic options available during beta.

Set

Set still appears unfinished balance-wise and needs future improvements.

Best Legendary Heroes In Godforge

Legendary heroes obviously dominate overall power rankings, but beta limitations slightly change which ones perform best right now.

S Tier Legendary Heroes

Morgan

Morgan looks completely overpowered for beta progression.

Her damage scaling, utility, and overall versatility make her one of the best heroes in the game already.

Loki

Loki received one of the biggest glow-ups from recent balance updates.

His new three-turn Sleep utility is absurdly strong for controlling dangerous waves. Pairing him with a single-target nuker allows teams to slowly eliminate enemies while remaining extremely safe.

Horus

Horus continues to dominate thanks to excellent overall utility and team support.

Marduk

Marduk offers incredible overall value and remains one of the safest Legendary investments.

Morgan le Fay

Morgan le Fay scales heavily with Accuracy and brings powerful debuffs alongside surprisingly high damage.

She becomes stronger the better your gear gets.

A Tier Legendary Heroes

Yang Wang

Yang Wang received strong scaling improvements and now deals impressive damage for a disruptor-style unit.

Faith scaling allows him to hit much harder than expected.

Parian

Parian can unleash massive single-target damage thanks to multi-hit attacks scaling with Speed.

He may eventually become a top-tier boss damage dealer.

Inky

Inky specializes heavily in healing and sustain.

While healing may not always be mandatory in fast campaign clears, he performs extremely well in difficult dungeon content.

Amaterasu

Amaterasu remains a powerful and reliable Legendary choice for most accounts.

Legendary Heroes That May Improve Later

Some Legendary heroes currently rank lower mainly because beta lacks the game modes where they are designed to shine.

Dracula

Dracula looks more suited for long boss encounters rather than wave-clearing beta content.

Fenrir

Fenrir suffers from the same issue, with bleed-focused gameplay not fully optimized yet.

Ares

Ares feels more PvP-oriented than campaign-focused.

Pazuzu

Pazuzu requires specific setups and game modes that beta currently does not support well.
