Season 3 has shaken up the Fellowship meta in a big way. Several heroes received balance changes, quality-of-life improvements, and talent adjustments that have completely changed where they stand compared to previous seasons.
Some heroes are dominating high-level dungeon runs, while others are still trying to find their place in the new meta. Of course, every hero is capable of clearing content when played well, but if you’re looking to build the strongest team possible, there are definitely some standout picks worth prioritizing.
After spending time with the latest Season 3 changes and looking at what top players are running, here’s how the current Fellowship hero rankings shape up.

S-Tier Heroes
These heroes currently sit at the top of the food chain. They either bring incredible damage, game-changing utility, or simply outperform most alternatives in almost every situation.
Helena
If you’ve played any RPG with a tank role, Helena will immediately feel familiar.
What makes her special isn’t just her ability to survive damage. It’s how effectively she prevents damage from happening in the first place.
Her toolkit allows her to reduce incoming damage for the entire group while still contributing surprisingly high damage of her own. That’s a combination that almost every team wants.
Grand Melee remains one of the strongest utility abilities available, and the Season 3 improvements addressed several of her previous weaknesses.
Right now, Helena feels like the complete package.
Elarion
There’s a reason ranged bow users are popular in almost every fantasy game.
Elarion delivers exactly what players want from a ranged damage dealer: reliable damage, strong mobility, and useful crowd control.
His ability to deal priority-target damage while simultaneously cleaving nearby enemies makes him incredibly valuable in dungeons where dangerous enemies need to die quickly.
The fact that he can constantly reposition without sacrificing much damage only adds to his value.
Gunde
The newest addition to the damage dealer roster has made an immediate impact.
Gunde’s raw numbers are simply ridiculous right now.
Few heroes can match his combination of AoE destruction and single-target pressure. Whether you’re fighting dungeon packs or bosses, Gunde consistently delivers top-tier performance.
His single-target grip also provides useful utility that many teams appreciate during difficult encounters.
The only real drawback is that he’s a melee fighter, but his attack range is generous enough that this rarely becomes a major issue.
A-Tier Heroes
These heroes are powerful and fully capable of carrying difficult content. They simply lack the overwhelming dominance that pushes the S-Tier heroes ahead.
Sylvie
Sylvie remains one of the safest healer choices in Season 3.
Her healing-over-time playstyle rewards proactive gameplay, and the recent maximum health aura buff has significantly improved her value.
She also contributes more damage than many players expect from a healer.
If you enjoy supporting your team while still helping burn enemies down, Sylvie is an excellent choice.
Vigour
When it comes to keeping a team alive, Vigour is a monster.
His damage reduction abilities effectively increase everyone’s survivability and make difficult encounters much more forgiving.
Unlike many defensive-focused healers, he doesn’t sacrifice damage output either.
Many players consider him one of the strongest healers currently available.
Ardeos
Season 3 was very kind to Ardeos.
Several improvements have made his gameplay feel smoother and more rewarding.
His burst damage can be devastating when used correctly, and he excels at eliminating priority targets before they become a problem.
Add in solid mobility and frequent interrupts, and you’ve got one of the strongest ranged damage dealers outside the S-Tier.
Rime
Rime remains one of the easiest heroes to recommend.
She performs well in almost every situation without requiring complicated setups or difficult mechanics.
Her ability to switch between strong AoE and single-target damage makes her a flexible addition to many team compositions.
The extra utility from off-healing and crowd control only sweetens the deal.
Mara
If you’re looking for massive damage numbers, Mara deserves your attention.
Her single-target damage is among the best in the game, and her AoE burst can quickly erase enemy groups when timed correctly.
Mara has a higher skill ceiling than many heroes, but players willing to master her toolkit are rewarded with exceptional performance.
Meiko
Meiko received several important upgrades heading into Season 3.
Her improved survivability, stronger defensive tools, and talent adjustments have made her far more reliable than before.
She remains one of the hardest-hitting heroes in the game and now feels significantly sturdier while doing it.
For players who enjoy aggressive melee combat, Meiko continues to be a fantastic option.
B-Tier Heroes
These heroes are still viable, but they currently face stronger competition from heroes occupying the higher tiers.
Aeona
Aeona’s ability to increase team health by a significant amount is undeniably valuable.
The problem is that her overall healing throughput can sometimes feel lacking compared to the top healing options.
She also struggles with personal survivability, which becomes increasingly noticeable in challenging content.
That said, her damage output is surprisingly high for a healer and remains one of her strongest selling points.
Strengths
- Strong health-boosting utility
- Excellent healer damage output
- Useful support capabilities
Weaknesses
- Lower overall healing throughput
- Personal survivability concerns
Xavian
Xavian shines brightest during large trash pulls.
His avoidance mechanics and parry-focused gameplay allow him to handle groups of enemies extremely efficiently.
Unfortunately, bosses tell a different story.
Some of the hardest encounters expose weaknesses in his defensive toolkit, especially when he has to spend resources protecting teammates rather than himself.
He’s certainly playable, but Helena currently offers more consistency in most situations.
TBD Tier
Tariq
Tariq is one of the hardest heroes to place right now.
The Season 3 rework dramatically improved his overall gameplay, and there are situations where he can produce some truly outrageous damage numbers.
The issue is that the current melee DPS competition is fierce.
With heroes like Gunde and Meiko performing so well, it’s difficult to determine exactly where Tariq belongs in the long term.
He’s definitely promising, but more testing and high-end dungeon data are needed before giving him a permanent tier placement.
Best Heroes to Prioritize in Season 3
If you’re starting fresh or wondering which heroes deserve the most investment, these are currently the safest choices:
Best Tank
- Helena
- Xavian
Best Healer
- Vigour
- Sylvie
- Aeona
Best DPS
- Gunde
- Elarion
- Mara
- Ardeos
- Meiko
Season 3 has created one of the healthiest Fellowship metas so far. While Helena, Elarion, and Gunde currently lead the pack, the gap between tiers isn’t massive enough to make lower-ranked heroes unusable.
Player skill, team composition, dungeon affixes, and encounter mechanics still matter more than simply picking the highest-ranked hero.
That said, if your goal is to build the strongest possible roster for endgame content, investing in the S-Tier heroes is currently the safest path forward.
