Phantom Blade Zero Memory Flowers and Petals Locations Guide

If you are exploring every region in Phantom Blade Zero, collecting Memory Flowers and Memory Flower Petals is an important part of improving Soul’s survivability. These collectibles are scattered throughout the world, and many of them are easy to miss because they are hidden inside buildings, placed beside Bells, or tucked away along optional paths. Some also require you to defeat a boss or unlock a previously inaccessible route.

In this guide, I will show you where to find the documented Memory Flowers and Petals in Crimson Forest, Village of Lu, Pangzhen, and Meigu Lake. I have organized the locations by region and included the directions, collection requirements, and memory story associated with each collectible. This should make it easier to track your progress while exploring instead of having to revisit the same locations repeatedly.

The main reason to collect these items is their permanent Maximum HP bonuses. Depending on the memory, completing the entire flower collection can increase your Max HP by 5%, 7%, or 10%. Some memories require you to collect petals across several regions, so you may need to return to earlier areas after unlocking new abilities or defeating certain bosses. I recommend checking the regional Map Completion screen as you progress and collecting every petal you encounter.

Phantom Blade Zero Memory Flowers and Petals Locations Guide

Memory Flowers and Memory Flower Petals are progression materials and narrative collectibles in Phantom Blade Zero. They allow you to discover fragments of the world’s history while permanently increasing Soul’s Maximum HP when you complete the associated memory.

Unlike ordinary treasure, these collectibles often tell a story through short scenes and conversations. The memories reveal details about the Mandate, the Wulin, Transcension, the Discordance, and the people affected by the events unfolding throughout the game.

Memory Flower Rewards Explained

Each memory has its own collection requirement and HP reward.

Collection Reward Maximum HP Bonus Upon Completion
Whole Memory Flower left by Inanis +5% Max HP
Memories requiring two petals Usually +5% Max HP
Memories requiring three petals Usually +7% Max HP
Memories requiring four petals +7% Max HP
Memories requiring six petals +10% Max HP

The bonus is awarded when you complete the entire memory, not when you pick up an individual petal. For example, collecting the first petal of Inanis’ Memory Flower does not complete the memory because you still need the remaining five.

The petal numbers in this guide follow the documented collection sequence. You do not necessarily have to collect the petals in numerical order, and the Roman numerals used in the memory lore indicate story chapters rather than the order in which you must collect them.

All Memory Flower Locations in Crimson Forest

Crimson Forest contains several Memory Flowers connected to the Mandate disciples, Iron Fever, Inanis, and Bai Chilian. Some can be collected as soon as you enter the region, while others require you to defeat bosses or unlock routes with special equipment.

1. Memory Flower Left by Inanis

Location: Crimson Forest entrance

Requirement: One whole flower

Reward: +5% Max HP

This is one of the easiest Memory Flowers to collect because it is located directly on the ground as soon as you enter Crimson Forest.

Look around the entrance immediately after arriving in the region. You will find the flower left behind by Lady Inanis.

This collectible also introduces an important concept behind Memory Flowers: areas affected by Sha-Chi can preserve memories that would otherwise be lost. Inanis explains that these flowers allow you to see those memories and listen to the voices of people connected to them.

Since this is a complete flower rather than a multi-petal memory, you do not need to search for additional pieces.

2. Memory Flower: Fellow Disciples

Location: Trail of Cages and Outlaw Trap

Requirement: Three petals

Reward: +7% Max HP

The Fellow Disciples memory follows the tragic story of Mandate disciples who are forced to fight people they once considered their brothers.

The memory begins with a disciple recognizing someone who appears to be his senior brother, only to discover that the person has become something horrifying.

Petal 2: Deeper in Trail of Cages

Continue exploring the Trail of Cages cave rather than leaving after collecting the first petal.

The second piece is on the ground deeper inside the area. Its memory focuses on the Mandate’s strict orders and the expectation that disciples must eliminate threats without showing mercy.

Petal 3: Outlaw Trap

The final petal is located beside a mounted enemy in Outlaw Trap.

Look around the enemy’s position and pick up the petal from the ground. This final memory chapter shows the emotional conflict between disciples who once trained together but are now ordered to kill one another.

This petal requires additional progression.

First, defeat Zhuo Bi in Village of Lu and obtain his Greatshield. Return to Crimson Forest and travel to the eastern cave on the right side of Thieves’ Camp.

Use the Greatshield to block the crossbow traps and proceed through the cave. After exiting, look near the cliff edge beside a mounted enemy to find the final petal.

Memory Flowers are worth collecting in Phantom Blade Zero because they improve Soul’s Maximum HP while revealing the stories of the people affected by the game’s events. Some memories require only two petals, while others need six pieces scattered across several regions.

If a memory still shows missing petals after you have visited every listed location, use your collection progress to identify what remains and verify the additional locations before considering the memory complete.
