If you’re trying to complete the Recover the Lost Pages quest in Slayers 2, you might find yourself running around Windy Peak wondering where these pages are hiding. The game doesn’t do a great job of explaining every early quest, so it’s easy to waste time searching the entire village.
In this guide, I’ll show you where to find all five Lost Pages in Windy Peak Village. I’ll explain each location in a simple way so you can follow the directions without having to run around randomly.

The quest itself is optional, but I strongly recommend completing it because the reward is the Book of Guidance. This is a really useful item that points you toward your next recommended quest and the NPC you need to visit. Once you know where the pages are, the whole quest is actually pretty quick.
Slayers 2 Recover the Lost Pages Quest Guide
The Recover the Lost Pages quest is one of the first quests you can encounter in Windy Peak Village.
You don’t technically have to complete it, but getting the Book of Guidance makes the early game much easier. Instead of constantly wondering where you should go next, the book helps point you in the right direction.
There are five Lost Pages scattered around Windy Peak. You can collect them in any order, so don’t worry if you accidentally find one before another.
Lost Page Location #1
The first Lost Page is probably the easiest one to find.
When you spawn in Windy Peak Village, look around the area near the gate. The page is located very close to the spawn point, so you shouldn’t have to travel far at all.
If you’re starting the quest for the first time, I’d recommend grabbing this one immediately since you’re already in the area.
Lost Page Location #2
For the second page, start from the main gate inside the village.
Look toward the gate and then head to the left side. Instead of leaving the village, follow the wall around until you reach a corner with a large tree.
The Lost Page is sitting right next to the tree.
This one can be easy to overlook if you’re running around quickly, so make sure you check around the base of the tree.
Lost Page Location #3
The third page is near the house closest to the village gate.
When you enter the village, head toward that house and look for a small green patch of grass beside it.
The Lost Page is sitting along the edge of that grassy area.
You don’t need to search the entire village for this one. Once you reach the house closest to the gate, look around the grass and you should spot it.
Lost Page Location #4
The fourth Lost Page is located near the largest house in Windy Peak Village.
Head toward the biggest house and follow the path leading to it from the central plateau.
As you get closer, look for three barrels stacked together. The Lost Page is right next to them.
The barrels are the easiest landmark to use here, so if you reach the big house and aren’t sure where to look, simply search around the stacked barrels.
Lost Page Location #5
The fifth page was the one I found easiest to miss.
For this one, look for the ramp leading toward the barbecue lady. Once you find the ramp, check along the nearby wall.
The Lost Page is sitting right next to the wall.
Because it’s tucked against the wall, it’s possible to run straight past it without noticing. Take a moment to check the side of the ramp carefully.
Once you’ve collected all five Lost Pages, you don’t need to search for anything else.
Simply return to Kona in Windy Peak Village and speak with him. He’ll give you the Book of Guidance as your reward.
That’s the main reason I recommend doing this quest early. The Book of Guidance can help you figure out where to go next instead of having to guess which NPC or quest you’re supposed to follow.
And that’s it! Once you’ve spoken to Kona and received the book, you’ve successfully completed the Recover the Lost Pages quest.
If you’re just getting started in Slayers 2, I’d definitely keep the Book of Guidance with you. It can save you quite a bit of time while you’re working through the early quests.
