If you are playing Soulrift and want to know more about its bosses, you have come to the right place. In this post, we will go over all the bosses currently known in the game, including their stories, attacks, phase changes, and the rewards you can get from defeating them.
Soulrift currently has 10 bosses, and each one has its own fighting style. Some bosses focus on ranged attacks, while others use powerful AoE abilities, dashes, projectiles, or status effects. You will also notice that several bosses become much more dangerous once they drop below 50% HP.
I’ve put together everything currently known about these bosses so you can prepare before jumping into a fight. I’ll explain what each boss does, what attacks you should watch out for, and what we currently know about their drops. Keep in mind that Soulrift is still being developed, so some abilities and rewards may change with future updates.
Roblox Soulrift Boss Guide – Locations, Skills, Drop Rates
There are currently 10 bosses in Soulrift:
- Katan
- Lazereth
- Sunix
- Acidux
- Cryogen
- Stormwalk
- Mirage
- Ardale
- Nebula
- Seraphim
The first few bosses have much more detailed attack information available, while some of the later bosses are still waiting for their full movesets to be revealed.
So, let’s go through them one by one.
Katan
Katan is the first boss you will encounter in Soulrift. His story is centered around The Conductor wanting someone capable of preparing the Keepers for the threats ahead.
Katan volunteered because he believed fighters deserved a proper challenge. Instead of overwhelming you with massive attacks, he uses his katana and focuses on testing your ability to react.
Katan Attacks
Katan currently has three main attacks:
- Dash — Katan quickly moves forward in a straight line toward you.
- Shuriken Throw — He throws shurikens directly toward the player.
- Slash — Katan performs a horizontal slash that you need to jump over.
The fight becomes more difficult once Katan falls below 50% HP.
His Dash becomes stronger because instead of performing only one dash, he can chain multiple dashes together. You will need to pay much more attention to his movement during this phase.
Katan Drop
Katan currently has one known accessory drop:
- Magic Mirror — 25% drop chance
If you’re farming bosses for accessories, Katan is a good boss to learn the basic mechanics of Soulrift because his attacks are relatively straightforward compared to some of the later encounters.
Lazereth
Lazereth was originally known as Lapis. He was the only person willing to participate in an experiment that eventually changed him.
Unfortunately, the experiment went horribly wrong. He transformed into a destructive cyborg-like entity and continued destroying everything around him until someone he trusted was forced to shut him down.
As you can probably guess from his design, Lazereth’s fight is heavily focused on lasers.
Lazereth Attacks
Here are the attacks currently known for Lazereth:
- Missile Attack — Lazereth launches missiles toward you. An exclamation mark warns you before the attack.
- Laser Attack — He fires laser beams around himself.
- Laser Field — Lazereth creates a dangerous area filled with lasers.
- Laser Sky Strike — Lasers are fired down from the sky toward different areas of the arena.
You will need to keep moving during this fight because several of his attacks can cover large sections of the arena.
Lazereth Second Phase
Once Lazereth drops below 50% HP, his lasers turn blue and some of his attacks become more complicated.
His missiles become faster, while his main Laser Attack gains three different patterns.
The first pattern simply fires lasers normally.
The second pattern sends multiple lasers around Lazereth, with their positions changing after each blast.
The third pattern creates moving lasers around the boss that you need to jump over.
His Laser Field and Laser Sky Strike remain mostly unchanged during this phase.
So, if you are struggling against Lazereth, make sure you don’t focus entirely on attacking. Watching the arena and reacting to his indicators is extremely important.
Sunix
Sunix was once an expert archer who worked as an entity hunter in the living world. Her job was to deal with containment breaches, but constant exposure to corrupted entities eventually caused her to become one herself.
She knew she was slowly losing control but continued fighting despite what was happening to her.
Her boss fight reflects her history, as she primarily relies on ranged attacks with her bow.
Sunix Attacks
Sunix currently has four known attacks:
- Arrow Barrage — Sunix fires a large number of white arrows toward you.
- Arrow Snipe — She tracks your position and fires an extremely fast arrow.
- Arrow Shower — A large number of arrows rain down across the battlefield.
- Arrow Smite — Sunix fires an arrow from above.
Since Sunix is a ranged boss, I recommend avoiding predictable movement. If you keep running in the same direction, her tracking attacks can become much easier for her to land.
Sunix Second Phase
At 50% HP, Sunix gains two additional attacks.
The first is a large AoE attack divided into three sections. Two sections are marked with red rectangles, while the green rectangle represents the safe area.
When you see this attack, quickly move into the green section before the attack lands.
Her second new attack has Sunix dash backward before firing a powerful arrow in a straight line.
This attack has a wide range, so you need to move properly rather than simply taking a few steps to the side.
Acidux
Acidux was created as the result of an accident involving scientists and military forces. He was eventually contained, but the process caused him tremendous suffering.
His destructive behavior isn’t necessarily driven by cruelty. Instead, much of it comes from his attempts to escape the constant pain he experiences.
Acidux uses acid-based attacks, and several of his abilities can cover large areas of the arena.
Acidux Attacks
His currently known attacks are:
- Acid Slam — Acidux jumps and lands on an area marked by a red square with an exclamation mark. After landing, an acid wave spreads outward.
- Acid Field — He covers the arena with acid while creating pillars that can be used as safe positions.
- Acid Blast — Acidux disappears before reappearing and charging an acidic projectile that splits into multiple balls.
The Acid Field is especially important to watch because standing in the acid damages you and applies poison.
For Acid Blast, green circles appear on the ground to show where the projectiles will land.
Acidux Second Phase
When Acidux falls below 50% HP, he gains two additional abilities.
Homing Acid Ball causes Acidux to create an acid ball and fire it toward you. The attack continues targeting the player several more times after the initial shot.
His other ability is called Surprise.
Acidux disappears while green circles rapidly appear across the floor. Eventually, one of the circles turns red, showing where Acidux will appear before firing an acid beam.
You will need to react quickly during this attack because the safe area can change rapidly.
Cryogen
Cryogen was once a powerful king who ruled his kingdom with absolute authority.
His reign eventually ended when his own daughter betrayed him and stabbed him in the back. Even after everything that happened, Cryogen continues to remember her as a traitor.
His fighting style revolves around ice, and his moveset combines projectiles, dashes, AoE attacks, and close-range attacks.
Cryogen Attacks
Cryogen’s first-phase attacks include:
- Icicle Barrage — Cryogen fires a barrage of icicles.
- Ice Cut — An exclamation mark appears above Cryogen before he disappears and reappears near you to perform an AoE slash.
- Cone of Icicles — Cryogen disappears and reappears before firing multiple icicles in a cone pattern. This can happen three or five times.
- Dash and Slash — Cryogen dashes toward you and deals damage on contact. He performs the attack three times in a row.
Many of Cryogen’s projectile attacks can be avoided by jumping, but you still need to keep track of where he is.
Cryogen Second Phase
Once Cryogen drops below 50% HP, he gains three additional attacks.
Giant Ice Sword sees Cryogen charge up ice energy before creating and releasing a giant sword attack in a straight line.
Ice Slam has Cryogen jump into the air and slam into the ground, creating ice spikes in an X-shaped pattern.
Finally, there is Frost Nova.
Cryogen fires three powerful ice beams in a snowflake-like pattern while also sending icicles in multiple directions.
After Frost Nova, Cryogen stays inactive for a short time. This gives you a useful opportunity to reposition yourself or get some extra damage in before the fight continues.
Stormwalk
Stormwalk once trained alongside his brother, but his obsession with gaining unlimited power eventually changed him.
He obtained the lightning sigil, which gave him incredible strength but came at the cost of his humanity and sanity.
Eventually, a coalition had to be formed to stop him. In the end, Stormwalk’s own brother delivered the attack that killed him.
Stormwalk Boss Fight
Stormwalk is one of the confirmed bosses in Soulrift, but his complete moveset has not yet been revealed in the available information.
Based on his story, lightning and the lightning sigil are expected to play a major role in his boss fight.
His complete abilities, phase changes, and accessory drop information can be added once more details are revealed.
Mirage
Mirage is an assassin who relies on deception rather than raw strength.
He became known for completing infiltration missions without leaving evidence behind and worked for some of the most unstable organizations.
Eventually, one of his missions went wrong during a period of escalating political conflict, turning Mirage into an important target.
A nuclear strike eventually destroyed the entire region where he was located, killing Mirage in the process.
Mirage Boss Fight
Mirage’s complete moveset has not been revealed yet.
However, his story strongly suggests that his boss fight will focus on illusions, deception, and misleading attacks.
Instead of simply dodging everything you see, you may need to figure out which attacks or objects are actually real.
We’ll need more information before his exact mechanics and abilities can be confirmed.
Ardale
Ardale was originally a firefighter who volunteered for an extremely dangerous mission involving a massive forest fire.
Nobody else wanted to take the assignment because of the scale of the disaster, but Ardale accepted it.
The fire eventually consumed him. Rather than simply dying, the flames became part of his soul and transformed him into something much more dangerous.
Ardale Boss Fight
Ardale is a confirmed Soulrift boss, but his complete moveset has not been revealed yet.
His story makes it clear that fire will be an important part of his combat style.
Because of this, I would expect his eventual fight to involve burning attacks and area-control mechanics, although his exact abilities should not be treated as confirmed until the developers reveal them.
Nebula
Nebula was created during an extremely rare event involving the collision of two shooting stars.
She eventually became a ruler of the cosmos and gained the ability to manipulate planets and moons.
Her power eventually brought her into conflict with Earth. However, even someone capable of controlling celestial bodies couldn’t escape a much greater force.
At the height of her reign, Nebula was absorbed into another system that was far larger than the solar systems she once controlled.
Nebula Boss Fight
Nebula is one of the higher-level bosses currently known in Soulrift.
Her cosmic background strongly suggests that her abilities will involve space, planets, moons, or other celestial effects.
However, her complete attack list and mechanics have not been revealed yet.
Seraphim
Seraphim was an ally of Nebula and possessed power over stars rather than moons.
One of the most important stars under his control was the Sun.
His powers went even further because Seraphim could also manipulate the flow of time.
Eventually, however, he suffered the same fate as Nebula and was absorbed by the same greater entity.
Before losing his power, Seraphim managed to preserve part of his abilities inside a scroll and hid it in the deepest part of Earth.
Seraphim Boss Fight
Seraphim is currently the final boss listed in the Soulrift roster.
His connection to stars and time makes him one of the most interesting bosses in the game, but his complete moveset has not yet been revealed.
Once more information becomes available, his attacks, phase mechanics, and rewards can be added to this guide.
Soulrift Boss Drops
Bosses aren’t only worth fighting for experience or progression. They can also drop unique accessories that you can equip to your character.
At the moment, the confirmed boss drop information is limited.
Katan Drop
- Magic Mirror — 25% drop chance
The other bosses are confirmed to be part of Soulrift, but their specific accessory drops and drop rates have not been fully revealed in the available information.
As more details are released, the boss drop list can be expanded.
Tips for Fighting Soulrift Bosses
If you’re getting destroyed by the bosses in Soulrift, don’t just focus on increasing your damage. Learning their attack patterns is just as important.
Watch Attack Indicators
Many attacks give you a warning before they happen.
Red areas, exclamation marks, circles, and other visual indicators can tell you where an attack is going to land.
Paying attention to these indicators can save you from taking unnecessary damage.
Learn the Second Phase
Several bosses become much harder when they reach 50% HP.
Don’t assume that the fight is almost over just because the boss is halfway dead. In some encounters, the second phase introduces completely new attacks.
Keep Moving
Bosses such as Lazereth and Sunix can attack you from range, while Acidux and Cryogen can cover large parts of the arena.
Staying mobile makes it easier to react when an attack indicator appears.
Learn Before You Farm
If you’re trying to farm an accessory, spend a few fights learning the boss first.
Once you understand the attack patterns, the fight becomes much more manageable, and you can focus on farming the drop rather than constantly worrying about surviving.
That’s everything currently known about the Soulrift bosses.
There are 10 bosses in the current roster, starting with Katan and going all the way up to Seraphim. Each boss has its own story and combat identity, and several encounters become considerably harder after reaching the second phase.
The first bosses, such as Katan, Lazereth, Sunix, Acidux, and Cryogen, currently have the most detailed attack information. The later bosses, including Stormwalk, Mirage, Ardale, Nebula, and Seraphim, still have parts of their combat mechanics waiting to be revealed.
For now, the biggest thing you can do is learn the attack indicators and pay attention to each boss’s phase changes. Once you understand when to dodge, jump, reposition, and attack, these fights become much easier to handle.
We’ll update this guide as more information about Soulrift boss skills, locations, accessories, and drop rates becomes available.
