If you’ve been jumping into Jujutsu Shenanigans lately, you’ve probably noticed that almost every server has at least a few people trying out Register (Reggie Star). I honestly don’t blame them because this is one of the most creative characters the game has released in a long time.
At first, I thought Reggie would be another straightforward character with a few funny attacks, but after spending time looking at how his kit works, it’s obvious that’s not the case. Instead of memorizing four abilities and repeating the same combo over and over, you’re constantly changing your moves, planning ahead, and deciding which attack you actually want next.
It can feel confusing during your first few matches, but once everything clicks, Reggie becomes incredibly satisfying to play. This guide covers everything currently available, including his unique mechanics, every move, Coupon upgrades, finishers, strengths, weaknesses, and a few tips that make learning him much easier.
Jujutsu Shenanigans Reggie Star Guide – Best Moves, Coupon Buffs
Before getting into the moves, it’s worth knowing that Reggie isn’t finished yet.
The developers have confirmed that Register is currently an Early Access character. Right now, he has:
- A unique base moveset
- Seven available moves
- A brand-new combat mechanic
- No completed Ultimate yet
His Awakening currently exists, but it doesn’t provide a full Ultimate kit yet, meaning there’s still plenty more coming in future updates.
Reggie Star
Every character in Jujutsu Shenanigans has a familiar pattern.
You press a move.
It goes on cooldown.
You wait.
Reggie completely throws that idea away.
Instead, every attack changes into another attack after being used.
That means your move bar is constantly rotating throughout a fight.
You’ll never keep the exact same set of abilities for very long.
This mechanic alone makes Reggie one of the hardest—and potentially strongest—characters to master.
Discard Mechanic
The biggest feature of Reggie’s kit is his Discard Special (R).
When activated, a blue aura appears around your character.
Rather than giving extra damage, Discard lets you cycle your abilities into different moves without needing to use them first.
Think of it like reorganizing your entire moveset.
For example, if you want Home Run to become your first attack instead of waiting for the rotation naturally, you can use Discard to rearrange your move order.
This gives experienced players much better control over their combos.
Instead of letting the rotation decide your next move, you’re deciding it yourself.
Reggie Star Base Moves Explained
Gushing Wound
Gushing Wound is Reggie’s knife attack.
He throws a knife that sticks into the opponent after connecting.
It’s a simple attack on its own, but it’s also the starting point for many move rotations.
When enhanced with Coupon, Gushing Wound becomes significantly stronger by throwing multiple knives instead of just one.
This greatly increases its pressure and damage potential.
Littering
Littering works differently from almost every move in the game.
The first activation places the attack.
After a short delay, it activates again.
This creates a timed attack that can catch players who aren’t paying attention.
It rewards prediction rather than raw reaction speed.
Garage Sale
Garage Sale throws a large amount of junk toward enemies.
The attack has decent range and covers a surprisingly wide area.
It’s especially useful against multiple players and works well after setting up pressure with your earlier moves.
When boosted with Coupon, Garage Sale becomes noticeably more threatening.
Blunt Trauma
Blunt Trauma is one of Reggie’s strongest close-range attacks.
It hits hard while briefly dazing the opponent.
That short stun gives you enough time to continue your pressure or transition into another attack.
It’s one of the easiest moves to build combos around.
Piano Drop
Piano Drop is probably the funniest move in Reggie’s entire kit.
You aim the target area before dropping a giant piano directly onto your opponent.
It behaves somewhat similarly to Megumi’s Max Elephant by allowing manual aiming.
Besides dealing solid damage, Piano Drop also has its own unique finisher animation.
Home Run
Home Run swings a baseball bat at nearby enemies.
Without enhancements it’s already a satisfying attack.
However, after using Coupon, Home Run transforms completely.
Instead of only swinging the bat, Reggie launches a baseball projectile, giving the move much longer range and making it useful against enemies trying to escape.
Coupon
Coupon might be Reggie’s most important ability.
Instead of dealing damage directly, it upgrades whichever move you use next.
Every attack receives its own enhanced version.
Some examples include:
- Multiple knives for Gushing Wound.
- Larger Piano Drop area.
- Baseball projectile for Home Run.
- Stronger Garage Sale attack.
- Improved damage and utility for other moves.
Learning when to spend Coupon is one of the biggest differences between beginner and experienced Reggie players.
Don’t waste it on random attacks if you’re setting up a combo.
Reggie’s Move Rotation System
The biggest challenge with Reggie isn’t landing attacks.
It’s remembering which attack comes next.
Every time you use a move, it rotates into another one.
During longer fights, your moveset is constantly changing.
That means you’ll need to:
- Watch your move bar.
- Remember upcoming attacks.
- Plan your combos ahead of time.
- Decide when to use Discard.
- Save Coupon for the right attack.
It’s much more strategic than simply pressing abilities whenever they come off cooldown.
Does Reggie Have an Ultimate?
Not yet.
Reggie’s Awakening currently exists under the name Con Artistry, but it doesn’t include a completed Ultimate moveset.
The developers intentionally released him early so players could begin learning his base mechanics before his full kit arrives.
Future updates are expected to add:
- New Awakening attacks
- Ultimate abilities
- Additional animations
- More finishers
- Extra interactions
Reggie Star Finishers
Even though the character is unfinished, he already has multiple finishers.
Known finishers currently include:
Home Run Finisher
Reggie delivers a brutal finishing swing using his baseball bat.
It’s quick, satisfying, and fits the character perfectly.
Piano Drop Finisher
Instead of simply damaging the opponent, the finishing version completely crushes them beneath the falling piano.
It’s easily one of the funniest finishers in the current update.
Best Ways to Use Coupon
One mistake new players make is activating Coupon immediately.
Instead, think about what your next move needs.
Need range?
Use Coupon before Home Run.
Need burst damage?
Save it for Gushing Wound.
Need better area control?
Enhance Piano Drop or Garage Sale.
Coupon isn’t just another cooldown.
It’s a damage amplifier that rewards planning.
