How to Find the Drylands in Fisch – Drylands Location Guide
The Drylands is connected to the FischFest event area rather than the main islands.
To reach it, you’ll first need to travel to FischFest, then continue toward the desert entrance.
Once you know the route, getting there only takes a minute or two.
How to Get to the Drylands
Follow these steps to reach the new area:
- Travel to Moosewood.
- Use the shell portal to teleport to FischFest Island.
- Once you arrive, head toward the large sandcastle.
- Move behind the sandcastle to find the path leading toward the Drylands.
From here, you have two ways to reach the desert.
Method 1: Use a Velocity Coil and Glider
If you own a Velocity Coil and a Glider, you can quickly cross the gap behind the sandcastle and reach the Drylands in just a few seconds.
This is the fastest option for players who already have both mobility items.
Method 2: Cross the Sand Bridge
If you don’t have movement gear, don’t worry.
Simply head to the left side of the sandcastle and follow the sand bridge.
The bridge leads directly into the Drylands, making it the easiest route for new players.
What Does the Drylands Look Like?
Once you arrive, you’ll immediately notice the environment is completely different from the rest of Fisch.
The Drylands features:

Finding the Drylands is much simpler once you know where to look. Start by traveling to FischFest through the shell portal at Moosewood, then head behind the giant sandcastle. From there, either use a Velocity Coil and Glider to cross quickly or follow the sand bridge on the left to reach the desert.
Once inside, you’ll gain access to all of the Drylands update content, including new quests, Sand Fishing, fossils, and plenty of secrets waiting to be uncovered.
