The Mysterious Marrow Quest is part of the latest Drylands update in Fisch, and it can be a little confusing at first. The quest itself isn’t difficult, but the game doesn’t clearly tell you where each required item comes from, so it’s easy to end up searching the wrong places.
The good news is that each item has a specific source. Once you know where to look, you can complete the quest without wasting time exploring the entire map.
Here’s how to get every required item.
Mysterious Marrow Quest Requirements
To complete the quest, you’ll need to collect these three items:
- Mysterious Skull
- Mysterious Spine
- Mysterious Fang
After obtaining all three, return to the quest NPC to complete the Mysterious Marrow quest.
How to Get the Mysterious Skull
The Mysterious Skull is the easiest item to obtain.
Simply visit the same Drylands Merchant that previously sold the Undefined Magnetite Core during the earlier Drylands questline.
The merchant sells the Mysterious Skull for:
150,000 Coins
If you’ve already progressed through the Drylands story, you should already know where this merchant is located.
Once you’ve purchased the skull, you’ll have the first quest item finished.
How to Get the Mysterious Spine
Many players end up searching all over the map for this item when they probably already own it.
The Mysterious Spine is awarded by the NPC you helped after delivering the Undefined Magnetite Core.
If you’ve already completed that quest, check your inventory before trying to farm another one.
There’s a good chance you received the Spine automatically and simply overlooked it.
How to Get the Mysterious Fang
The Mysterious Fang is the final item you’ll need.
Unlike the other two, this one is obtained on Ancient Isle.
Head to the island and locate the required NPC.
During the interaction, you’ll be asked several questions.
Answer all of them correctly, and the NPC will reward you with the Mysterious Fang.
If you choose the wrong answers, simply talk to the NPC again and retry until you complete the dialogue successfully.
How to Complete the Mysterious Marrow Quest
Once you’ve collected:
- Mysterious Skull
- Mysterious Spine
- Mysterious Fang
Return to the Mysterious Marrow Quest NPC in the Drylands.
Hand over all three items to finish the quest and claim your rewards.
The Mysterious Marrow Quest is more of a progression check than a difficult challenge. Once you know where each item comes from, it only takes a few minutes to finish.
The Mysterious Skull can be purchased from the Drylands Merchant, the Mysterious Spine is earned during the earlier Magnetite Core quest, and the Mysterious Fang is obtained by answering the Ancient Isle NPC’s questions correctly. Gather all three items, return to the quest giver, and you’ll complete the Mysterious Marrow quest without any unnecessary searching.
