Starting Haze Seas for the first time can feel overwhelming. The game doesn’t simply throw you into combat and tell you to level up. Instead, it introduces a wide range of systems including Fruits, Haki, Crews, Daily Quests, Chests, Awakenings, and much more. Learning how each of these mechanics works early on will save you countless hours later and help you progress much faster.
One mistake many new players make is rushing to obtain the rarest Fruit they can find while ignoring everything else. In reality, your progress depends just as much on mastering the game’s mechanics, earning money efficiently, upgrading your Haki, and completing daily activities.
This beginner guide covers every important system you should know before beginning your adventure in Haze Seas.
Roblox Haze Seas Beginner Guide – Chest, Quest, Haki
During your first few hours, your main goal should be reaching higher levels while collecting Beli and Gems.
Instead of spending every resource immediately, focus on building a strong foundation first.
Your early priorities should be:
- Level up consistently.
- Complete quests whenever possible.
- Open every Chest you find.
- Save Gems instead of spending them immediately.
- Learn your Fruit’s abilities.
- Unlock Haki as soon as possible.
- Explore every island instead of staying in one location.
Many players underestimate exploration, but several important NPCs and future progression systems require visiting different islands.
Understanding Fruits
Fruits are your primary source of combat power.
Each Fruit grants a unique moveset with different strengths. Some specialize in defeating groups of enemies quickly, while others perform much better against bosses or PvP opponents.
As your Fruit Mastery increases, you’ll unlock stronger abilities. Several high-end Fruits also feature Transformations and Awakenings that significantly increase their power later in the game.
If you’re just beginning, don’t worry about obtaining the rarest Fruit immediately. A good grinding Fruit with reliable AoE damage will help you progress much faster than an expensive Fruit you can’t fully utilize yet.
Chest System
One of the easiest ways to earn free money while exploring is by opening Chests.
They appear throughout the world and reward players with Beli, Gems, or even exclusive items depending on their rarity.
Unlike many Roblox games where chests only provide small amounts of currency, Haze Seas rewards players who actively search for them.
Common Chest
Chance: 60%
Common Chests are the most frequently found.
They reward between 100 and 1,000 Beli, making them useful during the early game when every bit of money helps.
Although they aren’t exciting, opening dozens of Common Chests over time adds up surprisingly quickly.
Uncommon Chest
Chance: 25%
Uncommon Chests provide a noticeable improvement over Common ones.
Rewards range between 1,000 and 3,000 Beli, making them a reliable source of income while progressing through the seas.
Rare Chest
Chance: 10%
Rare Chests become less common but offer much better rewards.
Opening one grants between 3,000 and 5,000 Beli.
Finding several Rare Chests during exploration can easily fund weapon upgrades or other purchases.
Legendary Chest
Chance: 4%
Legendary Chests reward between 5,000 and 10,000 Beli.
Whenever you discover one, it’s always worth opening immediately because the reward difference becomes quite noticeable.
Mythical Chest
Chance: 0.99%
These are incredibly rare.
Instead of only giving Beli, Mythical Chests reward:
- 15,000 Beli
- 5 Gems
Finding one always feels rewarding because Gems become increasingly valuable later in the game.
Mimic Chest
Chance: 0.01%
The rarest “Chest” isn’t actually a treasure at all.
Instead, it’s a monster disguised as a normal Chest.
The moment you attempt to open it, the Mimic reveals itself and attacks.
Unlike ordinary enemies, defeating it isn’t based on damage.
Instead, it requires roughly 100 successful hits, regardless of how powerful those attacks are.
The Mimic deals approximately 10% of your maximum HP every time it lands an attack, so you’ll need to stay alert throughout the fight.
Successfully defeating the Mimic rewards:
- 50,000 Beli
- Exclusive Little Lamb Boat
Because the Little Lamb Boat can only be obtained from Mimics, collectors should always fight one whenever it appears.
Chest Rewards in Higher Seas
As you reach later seas, every Chest becomes even more valuable.
Sea 2 increases Beli rewards by 1.5x.
Sea 3 doubles all Beli rewards with a 2x multiplier.
This makes treasure hunting a surprisingly profitable activity during the late game.
Chest Titles
Opening enough Chests unlocks exclusive Titles.
These don’t directly increase your strength, but they’re a fun way to showcase your accomplishments.
Available Titles include:
Vaultbreaker
- Open 25 Chests.
Treasure Hunter
- Open 250 Chests.
Chosen of Fate
- Open your first Mythical Chest.
Lured by Loot
- Open a Mimic Chest.
Daily Quests
Daily Quests are one of the best ways to earn free Gems.
Since Gems become increasingly valuable later, I strongly recommend completing these rewards every single day.
The rewards accumulate quickly without requiring much effort.

Gift 2

Gift 4

Gift 5

If you’re an active player, these Infinite rewards become one of the most consistent methods of collecting Gems.
Fruit Awakenings
Certain Fruits become dramatically stronger after Awakening.
However, not every Fruit currently supports this feature.
To awaken an eligible Fruit, you’ll need:
- At least 300 Fruit Mastery
- The required Awakening Material for that specific Fruit
- Access to the Poneglyph NPC
Once all requirements are met, speak with the Poneglyph to begin the Awakening process.
Awakenings usually improve existing skills instead of replacing the entire moveset, giving your Fruit stronger attacks, better effects, and increased overall usefulness.
If your favorite Fruit has an Awakening available, it’s absolutely worth working toward.
Conqueror Haki Clashes
One of the coolest mechanics in Haze Seas is the Conqueror Clash system.
Whenever two players activate Conqueror’s Haki within approximately 300 studs of each other, the game automatically starts a clash.
Instead of immediately fighting, both players enter a special duel.
During this period:
- Both players become temporarily immortal.
- A bubble-clicking minigame begins.
- Random bubbles appear across each player’s screen.
- The first player to pop all required bubbles wins.
The challenge isn’t about combat stats.
It’s entirely based on reaction speed.
Winning a Clash
If you finish the minigame first:
- Your opponent gets knocked back.
- They become stunned.
- They receive damage.
Winning a Clash creates an excellent opening to continue your attack afterward.
Losing a Clash
If your opponent finishes first:
- You’ll be knocked backward.
- You’ll become stunned.
- You’ll take damage.
Clash Cancellation
If neither player completes enough bubbles within 10 seconds, the Clash automatically ends.
A message appears:
“Clashing Cancelled!”
Neither player receives an advantage.
Conqueror Title
Winning your first Clash unlocks:
Conqueror of Wills
It’s a nice achievement that shows you’ve successfully overcome another player’s Conqueror Haki.
Crew System
Once you reach Level 400, you’ll gain access to one of the game’s largest multiplayer features.
Creating a Crew costs:
100,000 Beli
A newly created Crew can hold:
Up to 50 members
This limit may increase in future updates.
Joining an active Crew provides much more than simply having teammates.
Flag Capture System
Crews can capture Flag Points around the world.
Each captured Flag continuously generates:
- Fame
- Bounty
Rewards are distributed every 5 minutes, allowing active Crews to build their rankings over time.
Keep in mind that Flag Points cannot be captured inside VIP Servers, so players interested in competitive Crew progression should play in public servers.
Crew Leaderboards
Competitive players can climb two separate leaderboards:
- Top Fame
- Top Bounty
Strong Crews that consistently defend their Flags will naturally rise through the rankings.
PC Controls
Learning the controls early makes combat much smoother.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| Left Mouse Button | Basic Attack |
| Q | Dash |
| Left Ctrl | Sprint |
| T | Soru / Flash Step |
| F | Block |
| J | Busoshoku Haki |
| R | Kenbunshoku Haki |
| H | Conqueror Haki |
Mastering movement is just as important as dealing damage. Dashing, Flash Step, and proper blocking can often save you during difficult boss fights or PvP encounters.
