If you’ve been hanging around the latest Fisch update, you’ve probably noticed two new rods getting a lot of attention: the Lemonade Serenade Rod and the Tiki Rod. At first glance, they might seem difficult to unlock, but they’re actually pretty straightforward once you know what the requirements are.
I spent some time checking out how both rods are obtained, and the process is much easier than most players expect. The only real challenge is being patient. Here’s everything you need to know.
How to Get the Tiki Rod
The Tiki Rod is tied directly to the Campfire event.
To unlock it, you’ll need to donate Driftwood to the campfire for seven consecutive days. Missing a day could potentially reset your progress, so make sure you log in daily and complete the donation.
Tiki Rod Requirements
- Donate Driftwood to the campfire.
- Do this for 7 days in a row.
- Receive the Tiki Rod as the Day 7 reward.
This means the rod isn’t something you can grind for in a single session. It’s more of a login reward that encourages players to participate in the event every day.
My advice is to make the campfire your first stop whenever you join the game. It only takes a few seconds and ensures you don’t accidentally forget a day.
How to Get the Lemonade Serenade Rod
The Lemonade Serenade Rod works a little differently.
Instead of being earned through daily rewards, this rod can be purchased from the event shop located in the lagoon area.
However, there’s a catch.
You won’t buy it with regular currency. Instead, you’ll need a special event item called Lagoon Lemonade.
Lemonade Serenade Rod Requirements
- Visit the event shop.
- Collect 20 Lagoon Lemonades.
- Exchange them for the Lemonade Serenade Rod.
The shop NPC sells Lagoon Lemonades periodically, so you’ll need to keep coming back and purchasing them whenever they’re available.
How to Get Lagoon Lemonades
Lagoon Lemonades are sold by the lemonade vendor near the event area.
The vendor has a cooldown timer between purchases, meaning you can’t instantly buy all 20 required drinks.
Based on current information, collecting all 20 Lagoon Lemonades takes roughly five hours of waiting and purchasing as the cooldown refreshes.
Fastest Way to Collect 20 Lagoon Lemonades
- Buy a Lagoon Lemonade whenever the timer allows.
- Stay in-game or periodically rejoin to check the cooldown.
- Continue purchasing until you reach 20 total.
- Head to the shop and exchange them for the Lemonade Serenade Rod.
This isn’t a difficult grind, but it definitely requires patience. If you’re planning to unlock the rod in one day, be prepared to spend several hours checking back with the vendor.
Which Rod Should You Unlock First?
If you’re actively playing every day, start working on the Tiki Rod immediately since the seven-day requirement can’t be rushed.
At the same time, you can slowly collect Lagoon Lemonades whenever the vendor refreshes. That way, you’ll make progress toward both rods simultaneously instead of finishing one and then starting the other.
Personally, I’d prioritize the campfire donations first because daily streak rewards are usually the easiest thing to forget. The lemonade collection can always be completed while you’re fishing or exploring the event area.
Both the Tiki Rod and Lemonade Serenade Rod are surprisingly easy to obtain in Fisch. Neither requires rare catches, difficult quests, or massive amounts of currency. The real challenge is simply staying consistent.
For the Tiki Rod, remember to donate Driftwood for seven consecutive days. For the Lemonade Serenade Rod, keep purchasing Lagoon Lemonades until you’ve collected all 20 needed for the exchange.
If you’re starting today, make sure you do your campfire donation right away. Future you will be thankful when Day 7 finally arrives and that Tiki Rod lands in your inventory.
