Fisch Crews Update Guide – Crew Ratings, Codes, Limits

If you’ve been waiting for something more social in Fisch, the new Crews update is exactly that. After taking a look at the public test server, it’s clear that Crews are much more than a simple clan system. There’s progression, rankings, rewards, challenges, member upgrades, and what looks like the foundation for even bigger content in future updates.

The system is still fresh and some numbers could change before or after release, but if you’re planning to create a Crew or join one immediately, here’s everything you need to know.

Where to Find the Crew House in Fisch

The first thing you’ll want to do after the update goes live is head to Moosewood.

Make your way behind the main area near the lighthouse and you’ll spot the brand-new Crew House. This location acts as the central hub for everything related to Crews.

Inside and around the building, you’ll find several NPCs that each handle a different part of the system:

  • Crew Overseer
  • Crew Herald
  • Crew Architect
  • Daily Challenges Board
  • Weekly Challenges Board

You’ll likely spend quite a bit of time here if you’re serious about climbing the Crew leaderboards.

Crew Overseer Explained

The Crew Overseer is where you’ll access the global Crew rankings.

Opening the menu shows:

  • Top-ranked Crews
  • Current Crew Rating
  • Number of members
  • Join requests
  • Crew search function

One interesting detail is that ratings appear to reset monthly. The interface includes a visible countdown until the next reset, suggesting seasonal rankings similar to many competitive games.

At the moment, rewards for monthly placements haven’t been officially revealed, but it would be surprising if the developers didn’t attach some kind of exclusive reward system to top placements.

If you’re looking to join a Crew instead of creating one, this will probably be your most-used NPC.

Crew Herald and Crew Management

The Crew Herald is basically the management center for your own Crew.

If you’re the founder, you’ll have access to several additional options that regular members won’t see.

From here you can:

  • View Crew information
  • Check current ranking
  • Invite players
  • Manage members
  • View leaderboard standings
  • Adjust join permissions

One feature I really like is the flexibility with recruitment settings. You can set your Crew to:

  • Anyone can join
  • Friends only
  • Invite only

For larger communities or content creator groups, invite-only mode will probably become the standard.

Crew Roles in Fisch

The update isn’t just throwing everyone into the same rank.

Crews have different positions, including:

  • Founder
  • Officer
  • Member

Founders naturally have the most control, while Officers appear to gain access to some management features as well.

This should help larger Crews stay organized instead of forcing one person to handle everything.

How Crew Ratings Work

Crew Rating is essentially your Crew’s overall score and ranking power.

The higher your Crew Rating, the higher you’ll climb on the leaderboard.

Based on testing, there are two primary ways to increase it:

Complete Daily and Weekly Challenges

This seems to be the biggest source of rating progression.

Each challenge rewards Crew Rating upon completion.

For example:

  • Catching 100 Exotic Fish rewards +50 Crew Rating.
  • Completing challenges can also grant bonus reward spins.

The important thing here is participation.

A Crew with active members completing challenges every day will progress significantly faster than a Crew where only a few players contribute.

Catch Valuable Fish

Fishing itself also contributes to Crew Rating.

From testing, the following rarities appear to provide rating gains:

  • Exotic Fish
  • Divine Fish
  • Secret Fish

Lower rarities may not provide rating, though this could change as the system gets adjusted.

Either way, high-end catches are clearly intended to contribute toward your Crew’s progression.

Daily and Weekly Challenge Rewards

Challenges don’t just reward Crew Rating.

Completing them can also grant reward spins containing useful items.

Some rewards seen during testing include:

  • Meteor Totem
  • Blue Moon Totem
  • Starfall Totem
  • Starlight Worms
  • Enchant Relics
  • Sovereign Relics

That’s actually a nice bonus because even players who don’t care much about leaderboards still have a reason to participate.

Can You Reroll Challenges?

Yes.

Players currently receive two challenge rerolls.

After those free rerolls are used, additional rerolls may potentially require Robux, although this wasn’t fully confirmed during testing.

If you get a challenge you don’t want to complete, you’ll at least have some flexibility.

How to Increase Crew Member Capacity

This is where things get expensive.

Every new Crew starts with a maximum of 10 members.

To expand beyond that, you’ll need both Crew Rating and Cash contributions.

Upgrade from 10 to 20 Members

Requirements:

  • 1,000 Crew Rating
  • 50,000 Cash

Upgrade from 20 to 30 Members

Requirements:

  • 5,000 Crew Rating
  • 250,000 Cash

Upgrade from 30 to 40 Members

Requirements:

  • 25,000 Crew Rating
  • 1.25 Million Cash

Upgrade from 40 to 50 Members

Requirements:

  • 100,000 Crew Rating
  • 6.25 Million Cash

Reaching the 50-member cap is going to require a very active and coordinated Crew.

For casual friend groups, 10 to 20 members will probably be enough. For competitive leaderboard-focused Crews, hitting 50 members will likely become a major long-term goal.

Crew Names and Emblems

When creating a Crew, there are a few restrictions.

Crew names:

  • Can be up to roughly 20 characters.
  • Cannot contain numbers.
  • Cannot contain symbols or punctuation.
  • Must be unique.

The update also includes selectable Crew emblems.

Right now, the emblem selection is fairly limited, but honestly, it feels like a placeholder system that will expand over time.

I wouldn’t be surprised if future updates introduce additional emblems, unlockable cosmetics, or even custom Crew branding.

How Crew Tags Appear

Once you’re part of a Crew, its name appears directly above your title.

The display also shows your rank inside the Crew.

For example, a Founder will have both the Crew name and Founder rank displayed above their character.

It’s a small feature, but it helps give Crews an actual identity when players are gathered together.

Future Crew Features May Already Be Teased

One thing that stood out during testing was a structure near the Crew House that appears to still be under construction.

That usually isn’t something developers add by accident.

The entire Crew system already feels like the first stage of something much larger. Monthly rankings, progression systems, Crew upgrades, and unfinished structures all suggest future expansions are already being planned.

Whether that means Crew wars, exclusive Crew events, shared objectives, or unique rewards remains to be seen.

Is the Fisch Crews Update Worth Joining?

Absolutely.

Even if you’re not interested in competing for leaderboard positions, the update gives players more reasons to log in daily, complete challenges, and work together.

If you’re a solo player, joining an active Crew looks like a no-brainer because you’ll benefit from challenge participation and community progression. If you already play with friends, creating your own Crew gives you a long-term goal to work toward together.

The biggest takeaway after testing is that Crews aren’t just a cosmetic clan tag. They’re a progression system with rankings, rewards, upgrades, and future expansion potential. For many players, this could end up becoming one of the most important features Fisch has added in a long time.
