Winning in Teamfight Manager 2 is about much more than simply drafting the highest-rated heroes. AI behavior, team composition, balance patches, lane matchups, and teamfight performance all play a massive role in determining which characters actually succeed over the course of a season.
Some heroes look incredible on paper but constantly throw away advantages due to poor AI decision-making. Others quietly dominate because they consistently perform their role without needing perfect conditions. This tier list focuses on overall effectiveness in Career Mode, taking into account reliability, scaling, patch performance, and how well the AI utilizes each hero.
S Tier Heroes
These are the strongest heroes in the game right now. They fit into multiple team compositions, remain effective throughout most patches, and can often carry games almost single-handedly.
Demolitionist
Demolitionist is one of the most oppressive damage dealers in Teamfight Manager 2. Few heroes can match his combination of poke damage, burst potential, and teamfight impact. He starts contributing from the laning phase and continues scaling into a late-game monster capable of deleting entire enemy teams. Unlike many damage-focused heroes, Demolitionist doesn’t require a specific composition to succeed. Whether you’re playing aggressively or focusing on objective control, he always finds a way to contribute. If you’re looking for a hero that remains strong across multiple patches, Demolitionist is one of the safest investments in the game.
Boomerang Hunter
Boomerang Hunter becomes increasingly terrifying as the match progresses. While his early game is already respectable, his true power appears during the mid and late game where he combines exceptional survivability with devastating damage output. Many carries either deal damage or survive fights, but Boomerang Hunter excels at both simultaneously. Even after several balance nerfs, he remains one of the strongest scaling heroes because he can continue dealing damage long after most carries would have been eliminated.
Acrobat
Acrobat is essentially the evolution of the traditional assassin archetype. He has the mobility players expect from an assassin, but also brings crowd control and enough sustained impact to remain useful after his initial burst. Many assassin heroes suffer because the AI commits too aggressively, but Acrobat tends to perform much more consistently thanks to his versatile toolkit. Once he gains momentum, he can completely dismantle enemy backlines while still contributing throughout longer engagements.
Duelist
Few heroes dominate every stage of the game as effectively as Duelist. His laning phase is exceptional, his dueling power is among the best in the roster, and his scaling remains impressive throughout the match. What makes Duelist truly special is his consistency. There are very few situations where he feels weak, and even unfavorable matchups rarely shut him down completely. If you’re unsure what carry to build around, Duelist is one of the safest answers available.
Gambler
Gambler often lives in the shadow of Duelist, but that shouldn’t fool anyone into underestimating him. His lane pressure is outstanding, his damage remains threatening throughout the match, and he can quickly snowball advantages into complete map control. While slightly less versatile than Duelist, Gambler possesses enough offensive power to dominate games whenever he is allowed to play aggressively.
Cryomancer
Cryomancer starts strong but becomes truly frightening once matches enter the late game. His damage scales exceptionally well, but his ultimate is what pushes him into S Tier. Being able to suppress enemy abilities can completely dismantle certain team compositions and leave key carries helpless during important engagements. Against ability-dependent heroes, Cryomancer can often decide fights before they even begin.
Spearman
Spearman is one of the most balanced and effective fighters in the game. He combines burst damage, survivability, and flexibility in a way that few heroes can match. Players can build him aggressively, defensively, or somewhere in between without significantly hurting his effectiveness. His ability to remain relevant regardless of team composition makes him a staple of many successful drafts.
Teemo
Teemo punishes poor positioning harder than almost any hero in Teamfight Manager 2. His incredible attack range and sustained damage output allow him to pressure enemies before fights even begin. Heroes that rely on maintaining safe positions often struggle immensely against Teemo because he can continuously chip away at them from a distance. While occasional AI hesitation can reduce his impact, the sheer amount of damage he produces keeps him firmly among the game’s elite.
Pyromancer
Pyromancer has been a dominant force since launch thanks to her oppressive laning phase. Very few heroes can challenge her early pressure, allowing her to establish advantages before opponents have a chance to respond. While balance patches frequently target her survivability, her damage output remains among the highest in the game. As long as her team can protect her from aggressive divers, Pyromancer remains a terrifying threat.
Shadow Mage
Shadow Mage combines damage, crowd control, and utility into one of the strongest mage kits available. She can disable multiple enemies simultaneously while dealing enough damage to threaten almost anyone on the battlefield. Many experienced players rank Shadow Mage above Pyromancer because her influence extends beyond pure damage and into controlling the pace of entire teamfights. When properly protected, she can completely dictate how engagements unfold.
Swordsman
Swordsman remains one of the most flexible heroes in Teamfight Manager 2. He can function as a durable frontline bruiser, an aggressive fighter, or a hybrid damage dealer depending on team needs. This versatility allows him to fit into nearly every composition. Once fights begin, Swordsman can dive into enemy formations, survive prolonged engagements, and continue dealing meaningful damage throughout the battle.
Light Mage
Light Mage excels at creating early and mid-game advantages through a combination of powerful damage and reliable crowd control. Her lane presence is among the strongest in the game, allowing her to establish pressure from the opening minutes. Even after multiple balance adjustments, she remains highly effective because her kit naturally provides both offensive and utility value.
Air Mage
Air Mage is widely regarded as the strongest pure mage in Teamfight Manager 2. Her crowd control capabilities are unmatched, and her damage output remains impressive throughout the game. More importantly, she completely disrupts heroes that rely on diving into the backline. Assassins and aggressive fighters often struggle to function against an Air Mage because she can continuously interfere with their positioning and engagement patterns.
A Tier Heroes
These heroes are extremely powerful and can easily carry games, but they either require more support or possess clearer weaknesses than S Tier options.
Barrier Caster
Barrier Caster is one of the strongest defensive heroes available. Her shielding and defensive abilities can completely shut down certain enemy strategies. The only thing holding her back is occasional AI inconsistency, which sometimes prevents her from maximizing her potential during critical moments.
Horsewoman
Horsewoman offers a strong combination of mobility, survivability, and damage. She performs well throughout all stages of the game and rarely feels like a bad pick. However, the sheer dominance of some S Tier heroes prevents her from reaching the highest tier herself.
Dancer
Dancer possesses some of the highest carry potential in the game. If she secures early kills and gains momentum, she can quickly become impossible to stop. The challenge is reaching that point consistently, which is why she falls just short of S Tier.
Demon
Demon combines strong damage with respectable durability, making her useful in a variety of team compositions. Unfortunately, heavy crowd control remains a major weakness, and many of the strongest heroes in the current meta happen to excel at locking down aggressive targets.
Hitman
Hitman is one of the most underrated heroes in Teamfight Manager 2. His survivability isn’t impressive, but his damage output can be devastating under the right circumstances. Players willing to draft around his strengths will often be rewarded with surprisingly strong performances.
Fighter
Fighter is exactly what players expect from a bruiser. He brings mobility, durability, and respectable damage while remaining effective throughout the match. Although he lacks the overwhelming strengths of S Tier heroes, his consistency makes him a valuable draft option.
Hunter
Hunter excels at isolated skirmishes and solo kills. During the early and mid game, he can dominate side lanes and punish isolated opponents. However, large teamfights expose his weaknesses and reduce his overall impact.
Inquisitor
Inquisitor can completely take over matches when given an early advantage. A fed Inquisitor is capable of deleting enemies in seconds and snowballing games out of control. Unfortunately, his reliance on momentum makes him less reliable than the heroes above him.
Ninja
Ninja remains one of the best anti-mage assassins in the game. His mobility allows him to reach vulnerable backline targets with ease. Unfortunately, the AI often overcommits when controlling Ninja, leading to unnecessary deaths that hurt his overall consistency.
Destroyer
Destroyer scales incredibly well and becomes a major late-game threat. His biggest weakness is team dependence. With proper support, he can dominate matches. Without it, he often struggles to realize his full potential.
Vampire
Vampire has arguably the highest late-game ceiling in Teamfight Manager 2. When allowed to scale, he becomes an absolute monster capable of carrying entire games. The only reason he doesn’t rank higher is because the AI occasionally struggles to fully utilize his strengths.
Werewolf
Werewolf feels like a refined version of Berserker. He offers better scaling, stronger survivability, and more consistent impact throughout the game. While crowd control remains problematic, he still performs exceptionally well in most situations.
Whip Master
Whip Master is one of the most dangerous heroes against melee-heavy teams. His damage output is absurd, particularly once he gains access to his ultimate. Many frontline heroes simply cannot survive prolonged encounters with him. His increasing fragility across later patches is the main reason he remains in A Tier rather than S Tier.
