RealRTCW received a brand-new DLC called “Cursed Sands,” and just like the original game, it is packed with hidden rooms, secret buttons, breakable walls, and hidden treasure areas. Some secrets are easy to spot, while others are extremely easy to miss during a normal playthrough, especially if you are rushing through combat or focusing only on objectives.
Finding every secret is worth doing because the game rewards you with useful gear, ammo, armor, and progress toward the “Here’s a Cookie!” achievement. Some levels even give bonus rewards when you discover every secret and treasure hidden inside them.
This guide explains every secret area in easy English with clear directions so beginners can follow along without getting confused. If you are trying to fully complete the DLC or simply want extra supplies during your run, this walkthrough should help a lot.
Ras el-Hadid Secrets (3 Total)

Armored Helmet
This first level already starts hiding secrets very early, so make sure you check walls, crates, and wooden barriers carefully instead of running straight toward objectives.
Secret #1
Very early into the level, you will come across a wooden barrier blocking part of the area.
This wall looks weaker than the normal environment around it, which is usually a sign that it can be destroyed. Break the wooden barrier and you will uncover the first secret area.
Always pay attention to suspicious wooden boards in this DLC because many secrets are hidden behind them.
Secret #2
The second secret is hidden behind a wooden plank.
As you explore the level, keep an eye out for a single wooden section that looks slightly different from nearby walls. Destroy the plank to reveal the hidden area behind it.
This one is easy to walk past if you are focused on enemies, so slow down a little while exploring buildings and corners.
Secret #3
The final secret in Ras el-Hadid is located on a balcony area.
You will notice a large crate sitting there that looks out of place. Destroy the crate and the hidden secret will be revealed behind it.
Whenever you see oversized crates in RealRTCW, it is usually worth checking them because the developers love hiding supplies behind destructible objects.
Inner City Secrets (4 Total)

Grenades
The Inner City level has several hidden switches and destructible walls. This stage rewards careful exploration more than fast movement.
Secret #1
Near the radio station, look for a wooden barrier that can be destroyed.
Break through it to access the first hidden area.
This is one of the easier secrets in the level, but many players still miss it because combat around the radio station gets pretty hectic.
Secret #2
Inside one of the buildings, there is a hidden button placed behind a table.
Walk around the furniture carefully and interact with the button. Doing this opens a hidden secret area nearby.
Buttons hidden behind objects become very common later in the DLC, so always check shelves, tables, and corners carefully.
Secret #3
The third secret is hidden inside a storage room.
Look for a weakened piece of wood that appears more damaged than the surrounding walls. Destroy it to uncover the hidden area.
Weak walls in Cursed Sands usually have visible cracks or darker textures, making them easier to recognize once you know what to look for.
Secret #4
Inside another building, you will find a bookshelf with an interactable book on the right side.
Activate the book and a hidden area will open.
This is a classic Wolfenstein-style secret, and honestly one of the coolest hidden interactions in the DLC.
Headquarters Secrets (3 Total)

Thompson + Ammo
This level contains some very rewarding secrets, especially because the Thompson weapon is extremely useful.
Secret #1
Inside the wine cellar, look between the barrels for a wardrobe.
Destroy the wardrobe to reveal a hidden secret behind it.
The area looks pretty normal at first glance, so many players never think to attack the furniture here.
Secret #2
The second secret is hidden inside a well.
Look down into the well carefully and you will notice a wooden door below. Destroy the door and enter the hidden space.
This secret is easy to miss because most players do not think to inspect wells closely.
Secret #3
There is a hidden lever placed behind a “Soldat” poster.
Interact with the lever to open the secret area.
Posters hiding switches is another recurring trick in this DLC, so remember this for later levels too.
Ruins Secrets (2 Total)

The Ruins stage is shorter than some other levels, but the secrets are still easy to overlook.
Secret #1
This secret is unlocked by shooting an explosive barrel.
The explosion reveals the hidden area nearby.
Explosive barrels are not only useful for combat in Cursed Sands. Sometimes they are directly tied to environmental puzzles and hidden paths.
Secret #2
After progressing through a long corridor, look toward the right side for a weakened wall.
Destroy the damaged wall to enter the secret area.
If you rush through the corridor too quickly, you will probably miss the visual cracks completely.
Ritual Chamber Secrets (3 Total)

This level contains some of the easiest secrets in the DLC, but they are still worth grabbing for the extra supplies.
Secret #1
The first secret is very straightforward.
Climb the ladder and collect the gold bar waiting at the top. Doing this counts as discovering the secret area.
Simple but rewarding.
Secret #2
Look for a button hidden on the wall.
Pressing it reveals a secret room nearby.
By this point in the DLC, you should already be checking walls constantly for buttons because they appear very frequently.
Secret #3
The final secret is unlocked using a hidden lever behind a weakened wall.
Destroy the wall first, then activate the lever to reveal the hidden area.
This combines two of the DLC’s favorite tricks together:

Tombs Secrets (3 Total)

The Tombs level has a more puzzle-focused design compared to earlier areas.
Secret #1
You need to press two hidden bricks located on the left and right sides of the room.
After pressing both bricks, a secret area will open.
These interactable bricks blend into the wall surprisingly well, so inspect suspicious stone textures carefully.
Secret #2
The second secret is behind a weakened wall on the left side.
Destroy the wall and head inside to collect the rewards.
At this stage of the DLC, it becomes almost mandatory to attack cracked walls whenever you see them.
Secret #3
Inside another chamber, there is a hidden wall button.
Interact with it to open the final secret area for this level.
If you are trying to fully complete the DLC, remember to look behind pillars and statues because hidden switches are often placed near environmental decorations.
Lower Tombs Secrets (3 Total)

No Special Reward
Even though this level does not give a final bonus reward, the hidden areas still contain useful supplies and help progress the achievement.
Secret #1
Find the hidden button on the wall and press it.
Like many earlier secrets, this opens a nearby hidden door.
This is one of the more straightforward secrets in the DLC.
Secret #2
Inside another chamber, you will find another hidden wall button.
Activate it to reveal the secret area.
The Lower Tombs level heavily relies on hidden wall interactions, so search slowly instead of sprinting through rooms.
Secret #3
Near the end of the level, look for a weakened wall.
Destroy it to uncover the final secret area in the DLC.
This last secret is very easy to miss because many players are already focused on finishing the mission and stop exploring carefully.
