If you’re trying to unlock every achievement and find all 32 anomalies in Lost in Anomaly, this guide covers everything in one place. Below you’ll find beginner-friendly gameplay tips, a full achievement breakdown, and a complete anomaly list organized by room.
Before diving into achievements and anomaly hunting, there are a few mechanics the game doesn’t clearly explain.
You can freely run while using your flashlight and UV light at the same time. There’s no stealth system and no penalty for making noise, so there’s no reason to walk slowly. Keeping UV ready helps you quickly detect specific hidden anomalies.
Each floor gives you 15 Eye Stamps (E). You must place them near anomalies that remain visible. Temporary jumpscares that disappear do not count, but if something stays after triggering, it does count as an anomaly. There’s no penalty for placing extra stamps, so it’s safer to overmark than to miss one.
Chase events can happen randomly on certain floors. There are two types of chase anomalies. If one appears, immediately sprint to the elevator and press the button from very close range. It will not activate if you are too far from it. Based on repeated runs, chase events do not seem to occur on floors where other anomalies are present.
Sound is extremely important. While many audio effects are just background noise, some anomalies can only be detected through sound. Chase events also have distinct audio cues. Keeping your volume high is recommended, even if some jumpscares are loud.
You always begin on Floor 9. Mark all anomalies correctly and press the elevator button to move down one floor at a time until you reach Floor 1. If you die or miss something, you return to Floor 9.
There is also a TAB menu, but currently it appears to have no real function.
Lost in Anomaly Achievements Guide (All 7 Achievements)
There are seven total achievements in the game. Here’s how to unlock each one.
One achievement requires you to intentionally die to the “Review My Game” chase character. Instead of escaping, let him catch you.
Another achievement requires you to start Floor 9 a total of 100 times. Since every failed run resets you there, this will likely happen naturally over time.
You must also place 500 Eye Stamps in total. These accumulate across all playthroughs. You can place extra stamps on walls after correctly marking anomalies to speed this up.
The remaining achievements are progression-based. You unlock one simply by playing the game, another by finishing the game, and two more for completing the game under 20 minutes and under 15 minutes. If you finish under 15 minutes, you automatically unlock the 20-minute achievement as well.
Once you know the anomaly locations, the speedrun achievements become much easier.

Based on repeated runs, if a floor already contains a visible anomaly, a chase event will not occur on that same floor.
