World Zero’s 2025 Halloween event has arrived, and it’s packed with everything longtime players could hope for — a new seasonal hub, glowing cosmetics, themed mounts, and one of the most rewarding battle passes in recent updates. It’s the kind of event where even free players walk away with something stylish, while the premium rewards take it a step further with exclusive mounts and visual effects that perfectly fit the Halloween vibe.

This first week of the event introduces the Halloween Battle Pass, the centerpiece of the update. You’ll be farming candy corn, unlocking costumes, collecting aura chests, and maybe, if you grind hard enough, discovering some of the rarest auras World Zero has released yet.

How the Battle Pass Works

Progressing the Halloween Battle Pass is simple, but it’s built for consistent play. The key currency is Candy Corn, which drops from enemies near or slightly below your level. Daily quests reward 500 Candy Corn — enough to advance one full rank per day — while weekly quests at tier two offer triple the gain.

If you’re aiming to complete the pass quickly, consider the Helment VIP Event Pass. It doubles both your battle pass XP and Candy Corn drops during the event. It’s especially worthwhile if you plan to reset your pass after reaching rank 100. Spending 1,000 crystals lets you restart the pass and earn everything again, giving heavy grinders a long-term goal.

The Premium Track costs 2,000 crystals, but there’s a smart incentive: reaching rank 25 refunds those 2,000 crystals, effectively making it free for anyone who stays active long enough.

Free Track Rewards Overview

The free rewards are better this year than many expected. The cosmetics, mounts, and aura chests make it worth completing even if you don’t buy premium.

  • Rank 1: Jester Costume – A cheerful yet creepy jester outfit to start your event journey.
  • Rank 5: Cat Backpack – A cute orange cat bag that randomly spawns in different colors.
  • Rank 10: Nurse Hat – A teal-colored cosmetic that fits surprisingly well with older costume sets.
  • Rank 15: Plague Doctor Outfit – The classic bird-masked plague theme, now with color variations.
  • Rank 20: Sinister Bow and Horns – Simple but well-dyed Halloween accessories that pair nicely.
  • Rank 30: Sinister Suit – A dark red formal outfit with clean textures and glow accents.

After the cosmetic section, the free track shifts toward Aura Chests and weapon skins. These chests can drop various weapon effects and even the rare Sinister Aura, which is currently the most sought-after drop of the season.

Finally, there’s the War Beast Mount, the main mount reward for free players. It’s a four-legged creature with glowing purple details and an idle animation that gives it real presence in the hub. The random dye also affects the lantern it carries, adding a personal touch to each version players unlock.

Premium Track Rewards

The premium side expands on every category with alternate color sets, exclusive accessories, and an entirely different mount at rank 30.

Premium Highlights Include:

  • Jester (Female) Costume – A pink-dyed variant with improved detailing and color layering.
  • Evil Glasses & Jester Hat – Perfect accessories for matching the premium costume lineup.
  • Nurse Costume (Rainbow-Dyed) – A rare multicolor variant that pairs with the earlier nurse hat.
  • Plague Mask – A glowing version of the iconic plague doctor headpiece, animated eyes included.
  • Spider Lantern – A tail accessory shaped like a glowing blue spider.
  • Chained Wings – Brightly glowing back cosmetics with a heavy metallic style.
  • Sinister Dress – A detailed red outfit featuring a glowing pumpkin-face emblem on the torso.
  • Rank 30 Mount – Orange Ghoul – A standout mount for this event, designed with eerie animations and glowing eyes.

When equipped, the Orange Ghoul doesn’t fly but has a smooth animation cycle that fits the Halloween aesthetic perfectly.

Spooky Presents and Limited Items

Alongside the battle pass, Spooky Presents are back. These randomized event boxes contain unique cosmetics and re-dyed legacy items, many of which can’t be found anywhere else.

From the current loot pool, players have reported pulling items such as:

  • Astronaut Helmet & Costume (Among Us-inspired)
  • Back Portal (now dyeable for the first time)
  • Bat Wings (returning item with new color options)
  • Deer Mask (glow-affected by dye color)
  • Tail Lamp Accessory (a glowing tail attachment)
  • Assassin Hood (rare item that removes your character’s hair for a clean assassin look)

The drop rates aren’t confirmed, but the Assassin Hood seems to be among the rarest pulls. The only reliable way to farm Spooky Presents right now is by redoing the battle pass after resets.

Weapon Skins and Auras

Every Halloween chest this year is themed around the Sinister line, featuring recolors for all main weapon types — Greatsword, Longsword, Staff, Axe, Shield, Bow, Spear, and Scythe.

Weapon colors are tied to where you earn them:

  • Red versions: Free Battle Pass & reward wheel
  • Black and White: Premium or expensive chests
  • Green versions: Item Shop exclusives
  • Blue and Yellow: Battle Pass-only skins
  • Boss Versions: Exclusive to Halloween boss drops

The free sinister aura chest is where things get interesting. The aura lineup this year includes:

  • Pumpkin Glow Aura – Bright orange embers that radiate off your weapon.
  • Batty Aura – Small flying bats circling your sword.
  • Venomous Aura – Green, dripping poison-like particles.
  • Forsaken Chain Aura – Metallic ghostly chains that shimmer in combat.
  • Gaslight Aura – Blue-tinted luminescence effect.
  • Jack-O’-Lantern Aura – Pumpkin face motif surrounded by orange mist.
  • Wisp Aura – Soft glowing energy trail following weapon movement.
  • Sinister Aura (Ultra Rare) – Emits a storm of shadow particles, considered the top-tier effect.

Additionally, the Demon Bear Mount can drop from the free chests — a simple, animated creature with glowing eyes and charm to match the event’s tone.

The 2025 Halloween Battle Pass feels like a return to form for World Zero. It brings meaningful free rewards, stylish premium content, and plenty of reasons to keep grinding long after the first week. The reset mechanic encourages repeat play, while the visual themes perfectly capture the game’s mix of fantasy and festivity.
