This is one of the most exciting updates Volleyball Hero has released in a while. We’ve got a brand-new Secret Style, a 2x Secret Weekend, a free Lucky Spin handout, and some fresh codes to grab. I jumped in as soon as the update went live, and here’s everything you need to know.
New Secret Style: HIDARI
Let’s start with the star of this update — Hidari.
He’s the newest Secret Style and honestly one of the coolest additions yet. Hidari’s design stands out immediately — he’s a cyborg spiker with a robotic left arm built purely for power.
What makes him special is how his ability works: when you spike or serve from the left side, you get a massive power boost. It applies to both regular spikes and serves, which makes positioning a real factor in how you play him.
Quick breakdown:
- Secret Type: Style
- Boost: Power-up when spiking/serving from the left
- Duration: Available for 2 weeks only
I’ve tried him in a few matches already — the power difference is noticeable. If you like explosive playstyles, Hidari’s definitely worth grabbing while he’s around.
2x Secret Weekend
The devs are really making it easier for us to get Secrets this time.
From October 11, 2025 (11:30 AM ET) to October 13, 2025 (11:30 AM ET), a 2x Secret Weekend is live.
Here’s what that means:
- Secret Pity cut in half: 200 → 100
- Secret Chances doubled: 0.5% → 1%
Basically, you’ll be hitting Secrets twice as fast. If you’ve been saving your spins, this is the perfect moment to use them. The event only runs for 48 hours, so don’t sleep on it.
Lucky Spin Handout
There’s also a Lucky Spin Handout running today — and yes, it’s completely free.
From October 11, 2025 (10:30 AM ET) to 12:30 PM ET, players are getting Lucky Style and Ability Spins handed out every 10 minutes. That’s 12 total spin handouts over the two-hour window.
I’d recommend hopping in early so you can claim all 12 — these are perfect for stacking up before the 2x Secret Weekend begins.

My Take on Update 40
This update honestly feels like a solid balance between hype and reward. Hidari adds a fresh layer of gameplay since his left-side power mechanic changes how you position yourself. Pair that with doubled chances and free spins, and it’s easily one of the most player-friendly updates we’ve had recently.
