This update introduces two powerful end-game characters: Anos (Demon King) and Sung Jinwoo Monarch. Both require farming, boss runs, and specific materials, so this guide explains everything step-by-step in a clear way, just like experienced players would explain it to newcomers.
How to Get Anos (Demon King)
All Anos-related content is located on Academy Island. Before you can unlock him, you must complete a questline and gather several boss materials.
Requirements
To obtain Anos, you need:
- Demon King Title
- Volde Clan
- 65 Calamity Seals
- 12 Demonic Fragments
- 6 Demonic Shards
- 2 Destruction Eyes
- 1 Imperial Mark
All of these items come from the Anos Boss.
Step 1 — Complete the Demonite Core Questline
You cannot fight the boss immediately. First, you must finish the Demonite Core questline.
What to do:
- Find Demonite Fragments scattered across the game.
- Farm mobs to collect Calamity Seals.
- Turn in quest items to unlock the boss fight.
Important tip: Calamity Seals drop from nearly every mob in the game, so efficient farming spots with fast respawns are best.
Step 2 — Get the Volde Clan
The Volde Clan is part of the new clan system and is required to unlock Anos.
You can obtain clans by:
- Getting random drops from mobs
- Rolling clans at the merchant on Sailor Island
Clans provide passive buffs, so players often keep rolling until they get a strong one.
Step 3 — Farm the Anos Boss
Once the questline is complete and you have enough Calamity Seals, you can spawn the Anos Boss.
From here:
- Defeat the boss repeatedly
- Collect required materials
- Continue until all requirements are complete
This boss is considered difficult, so players usually bring strong builds or team up for faster farming.
How to Get Sung Jinwoo Monarch
All Monarch-related content is found on Dungeon Island.
Unlocking this character revolves around farming the new dungeon.
Requirements
To obtain the Monarch, you need:
- King of Shadows Title
- Jinwoo
- 10 Monarch Cores
- 5 Monarch Essences
- 2 Kamish Daggers
- 1 Shadow Crystal
All of these items drop inside the Double Dungeon.
Step 1 — Enter the Double Dungeon
The dungeon consists of 15 waves of enemies.
At the final wave, you fight Sung Jinwoo as the main boss.
This dungeon is the only place to obtain Monarch materials.
Step 2 — Farm Dungeon Drops
Each run gives a chance to obtain:
- Monarch Cores
- Monarch Essences
- Shadow Crystal
- Kamish Daggers
Because drop rates are not guaranteed, you will need multiple runs.
Efficient strategy used by experienced players:
- Clear waves quickly using AoE builds
- Run with a team for faster clears
- Repeat runs back-to-back for consistent farming
Step 3 — Unlock the Monarch
After collecting all materials and meeting the title requirements, you can finally unlock Sung Jinwoo Monarch.
He is considered one of the strongest additions in the update.
