Getting around the world of The Blood of Dawnwalker can take a while when you are traveling between different areas. Thankfully, the game has a fast travel system that lets you quickly move between certain locations.
Fast Travel is tied to Shrines, which you can discover while exploring the world. Once a Shrine is unlocked and usable, you can travel to it directly from the map instead of making the entire journey on foot.
However, not every Shrine will be ready to use when you first find it. Some are destroyed or desecrated, so you will need to restore them before they become available for Fast Travel. Here’s how the system works.

Teleport Using Shrines
Fast Travel in The Blood of Dawnwalker is done through Shrines. Once you have unlocked a Shrine, open your Map and look for its icon.
Shrines are marked with an icon showing a roofed structure with a cross on top. When you select an unlocked Shrine on the map, you should see the Fast Travel option.
Choose Fast Travel and you will immediately be transported to the area around that Shrine. This makes Shrines especially useful when you need to return to a previously explored location without spending a lot of time traveling there again.
I recommend activating every Shrine you come across while exploring, since having more Fast Travel points gives you much more freedom when moving around the map.
How to Activate Fast Travel
Repair Destroyed Shrines
Not every Shrine you discover will be ready to use. Some Shrines are desecrated and ruined, meaning you cannot use them for Fast Travel right away.
To restore one, you need to find its Shrine’s Heart.
The Heart is located somewhere near the ruined Shrine. You can look around the surrounding area for points of interest or clues that can lead you to its location.
Once you find the Shrine’s Heart, return to the damaged Shrine and use it to restore the Shrine.
After repairing it, the Shrine becomes usable, allowing you to Fast Travel to that location from the Map.
Keep Unlocking Shrines While Exploring
Since Shrines double as Fast Travel points, it is worth taking the time to repair ruined ones whenever you find them. The more Shrines you activate, the easier it becomes to move between different parts of the world.
When you are exploring a new area, keep an eye out for Shrine icons and check any damaged Shrines for clues about their missing Hearts. Unlocking these locations early can save you plenty of travel time later in the game.
