Stelle is one of the most flexible and creative heroes in The Bazaar. Her entire kit revolves around flying items, and her builds reward you for either keeping items airborne, cycling them on and off the board, or leveraging their speed and haste effects. This makes her a versatile hero who can pivot into many different archetypes depending on what items you find early on.

Below, you’ll find a breakdown of Stelle’s main build archetypes, recommended early-game strategies, and how to manage your economy for smooth progression.

Stelle’s Build Archetypes

Stelle’s playstyle is defined by how she interacts with flying items. Here are the core archetypes you’ll encounter:

1. Airborne Builds

  • Focus on having as many flying items as possible.
  • You don’t need to repeat the flying effect—just get airborne once.
  • Example payoff: Skyliner (gains power based on the number of flying items).
  • Why it works: Simple and consistent, great for beginners.

2. Fly Cycling Builds

  • Items benefit from repeated flying starts.
  • Builds often revolve around “start-stop” mechanics.
  • Example payoff: Freefall Simulator (gives haste when items start flying).
  • Why it works: Very flexible, often considered Stelle’s core archetype.

3. Stop Cycling Builds

  • Items trigger when they stop flying.
  • Example payoff: Hang Glider (makes all items fly, then deals damage when they stop).
  • Why it works: Niche but very fun. Limited item support right now but highly rewarding.

4. Stop Builds

  • Focus on items that benefit from a single, targeted stop.
  • Example payoff: Bombage (destroys itself after stopping with a timer).
  • Why it works: Simple control-based strategy, plays differently from stop cycling.

5. Flight Proc Builds

  • Care about having many fast-flying items.
  • Examples:
    • Space Laser (charges when other items fly).
    • Vortex Cannon (deals damage when items fly).
  • Why it works: Emphasizes speed and chaining effects.

6. Flightless Builds

  • Ignore flying mechanics and rely on tool-based synergies.
  • Example: Molten Ball Blaster with small tools.
  • Why it works: Less overlap with Stelle’s main kit, but strong in the right setup.

7. Haste-Fly Hybrids

  • Generate haste via flying, but scale with haste payoffs.
  • Examples:
    • Stellear Swallowtail (charges on haste gain).
    • Pill Buggy (scales shields on haste).
  • Why it works: Bridges fly cycling and haste strategies.

8. Slow Builds

  • Generate as many slow procs as possible.
  • Examples: Steam Hose and Lightning Rod.
  • Why it works: Doesn’t directly overlap with flying, but benefits from slowing your own board.

Early-Game Builds (Day 1 – Day 5)

When starting out with Stelle, your first few days will determine your trajectory. Here are the four most reliable early-game lines:

1. Molten Ball Blaster (Tool Line)

  • Look for Molten Ball Blaster early.
  • Stack tools like Angler Drone, Box Cutter, and Joystick.
  • Prioritize Lost Crate for random mediums (Toolbox or Blaster upgrade).
  • Strengths: Generates a ton of economy thanks to Stelle’s gold-per-tool level-up option.
  • Weaknesses: Limited overlap with flying builds, but the gold advantage balances this.

2. Balloon Engine (Burn Line)

  • Core items: Balloon Engine + Freefall Simulator.
  • Add small burn items like Blowtorch or Fire Bomb.
  • Consistent damage and strong in Stelle mirrors (beats Ball Blaster early).
  • Strengths: Raw early-game power.
  • Weaknesses: Can be hard to pivot out of, weaker in the late game.

3. Aerial Turret (Kakara Line)

  • Core synergy: Kakara + Aerial Turret.
  • Support with Headset (haste), Joystick (charge), and Angler Drone.
  • Place Kakara on the board edge to guarantee turret flying.
  • Strengths: Can snowball hard once set up.
  • Weaknesses: Expensive, vulnerable to aggro, slow to scale.

4. Chicken Cannon (Shield Line)

  • Core item: Chicken Cannon.
  • Buff damage using Right-Handed/Left-Handed upgrades.
  • Best shield synergy: Security Drone.
  • Add small flying items or Kakara to enable both drone and cannon.
  • Strengths: Fun and unique.
  • Weaknesses: Weak to poison and burn; usually best to pivot out.

The Day 6 Power Spike (Gold Items)

By Day 6, Stelle can start rolling for gold large items, which often define her late-game strength.
You should aim to save at least 24 gold by this day to ensure you can buy into these payoffs.

Recommended Day 6 Payoffs

  • Flying Builds: Skyliner, Dagger Wing, Space Laser.
  • Haste Builds: Stellear Swallowtail, Pill Buggy.
  • Slow Builds: Lightning Rod, Steam Hose.

Tip: Prioritize flexible options like Skyliner that slot easily into existing flying setups. Be cautious with niche ones like Lightning Rod unless you already have supporting items.

Economy & Pivoting Tips

  • Always balance damage vs. economy.
  • Don’t overcommit to one line if it drains all your gold.
  • Stelle thrives when you can pivot into stronger payoffs on Day 6.
  • Early tool lines often give the most gold, making pivots easier.
  • Burn and turret lines offer higher raw power but risk stalling later.

Stelle is one of the most rewarding heroes in The Bazaar because of her versatility and creativity. Whether you lean into flying synergies, haste, burn, or tools, she has multiple paths to victory. The key to mastering her is learning when to commit and when to pivot—always keeping your economy healthy for those crucial Day 6 gold pickups.
