Choosing the right lineup in TBH: Task Bar Hero is more important than simply picking the classes with the highest damage numbers. A team needs survivability, consistent damage output, and enough utility to handle different enemy types. After spending time testing multiple class combinations throughout the early, mid, and late game, I found that certain lineups consistently perform better than others because their strengths naturally cover each other’s weaknesses.
One thing many players overlook is that a lineup that dominates early progression is not always the strongest option later. As enemies become stronger and equipment quality improves, team priorities begin to change. Some classes scale exceptionally well with gear, while others provide stability that helps you reach the endgame in the first place.
Below are the best team compositions currently available and the situations where they perform best.
TBH Task Bar Hero Team Compositions and Best Lineup
Before building a lineup, it is important to understand the purpose of each role.
A frontline character absorbs enemy pressure and protects fragile allies.
A support character provides healing, buffs, and defensive utility.
A damage dealer focuses on eliminating enemies as quickly as possible.
The strongest teams are usually the ones where every member has a clearly defined purpose.
Knight, Priest, Ranger Lineup
Recommended For
- New players
- Free-to-play players
- Early and mid-game progression
- Consistent stage clearing
Frontline: Knight
The Knight serves as the foundation of this team. His primary responsibility is keeping enemies away from the backline while absorbing as much damage as possible.
I personally recommend prioritizing health and defense over damage when playing this lineup. Since the Ranger already provides reliable damage output, there is no reason to risk your frontline dying for a small increase in damage.
A properly geared Knight creates a stable environment where the rest of the team can perform without interruption.
Support: Priest
The Priest is arguably the most important member of this lineup.
Many players focus on healing, but the Priest contributes much more than that. Attack buffs significantly increase the Ranger’s damage while healing allows the Knight to survive encounters that would normally overwhelm him.
The combination of healing and damage amplification makes the Priest one of the most valuable classes in the game.
Backline Damage: Ranger
The Ranger focuses entirely on damage.
Attack speed, critical hit rate, and critical damage are the most important stats for this class. The faster the Ranger attacks, the more opportunities it has to trigger powerful critical hits.
Bosses and elite enemies tend to fall quickly against a well-built Ranger.
The only real weakness is large enemy groups. While the Ranger can deal with multiple targets, it is not nearly as effective as some other damage dealers when enemies begin flooding the screen.
Overall Performance
This is the lineup I usually recommend to new players because it has extremely low equipment requirements compared to other compositions.
The damage ceiling is not the highest in the game, but the stability is excellent.
If your goal is smooth progression without requiring expensive gear, this lineup is hard to beat.
Knight, Priest, Mage Lineup
Recommended For
- Players struggling with enemy waves
- Dungeon farming
- AoE-focused content
Frontline: Knight
The Knight performs the same role as in the previous composition.
His job is to gather enemy attention and create space for the Mage to cast safely.
Because the Mage already handles large groups effectively, the Knight can focus entirely on defense.
Support: Priest
The Priest provides healing, damage buffs, and emergency recovery.
The attack buff also increases the Mage’s overall effectiveness, allowing AoE spells to hit significantly harder.
Backline Damage: Mage
The Mage specializes in destroying large groups of enemies.
Unlike the Ranger, who focuses on individual targets, the Mage shines whenever multiple enemies appear simultaneously.
One ability worth paying close attention to is Blizzard.
If Blizzard gains freezing capabilities through upgrades or special equipment, the value of the Mage increases dramatically. Crowd control is incredibly powerful because frozen enemies cannot attack.
There were several stages where enemy damage felt overwhelming until a freeze effect completely changed the fight.
Overall Performance
This lineup clears enemy waves faster than the Ranger version.
The tradeoff is weaker single-target damage during boss encounters.
For players farming stages filled with large enemy groups, the Mage lineup often feels smoother and more efficient.
Knight, Priest, Hunter Lineup
Recommended For
- Balanced progression
- Players wanting damage and control
- Long-term account growth
Frontline: Knight
The Knight provides stability and survivability.
His role remains unchanged, allowing the Hunter to focus entirely on damage and utility.
Support: Priest
The Priest keeps the frontline alive while boosting overall team damage.
Because the Hunter benefits greatly from additional offensive stats, the Priest becomes even more valuable here.
Backline Damage: Hunter
The Hunter is one of the most complete damage dealers in the game.
Unlike the Ranger, the Hunter does not struggle against groups.
Unlike the Mage, the Hunter does not lose effectiveness against bosses.
Trap abilities provide excellent burst damage while Frost-based skills introduce valuable crowd control.
The freezing effect is particularly useful because it creates breathing room during difficult fights.
Overall Performance
Among all Knight-based teams, this is probably the most balanced.
It offers damage, control, survivability, and flexibility.
There are very few situations where this lineup performs poorly.
Berserker, Priest, Hunter Lineup
Recommended For
- Mid and late-game progression
- Players with decent equipment
- High-performance builds
Frontline Damage Dealer: Berserker
The Berserker completely changes how a team functions.
Unlike the Knight, who focuses primarily on survival, the Berserker acts as both tank and damage dealer.
The class has one of the highest damage ceilings in the game, but it also demands significantly better equipment.
Life steal is absolutely essential.
Critical hit chance is essential.
Strong weapons are essential.
Without proper gear, the Berserker can feel surprisingly weak because it dies before utilizing its damage potential.
Once equipped correctly, however, the class becomes a monster.
Support: Priest
The Priest is the glue holding this lineup together.
Healing keeps the Berserker alive.
Damage buffs increase burst potential.
Resurrection provides insurance when things go wrong.
A Berserker without Priest support feels incomplete.
Utility Damage: Hunter
The Hunter complements the Berserker perfectly.
While the Berserker focuses on raw destruction, the Hunter adds control and consistent ranged damage.
Freeze effects become especially valuable because they help reduce incoming pressure on the Berserker.
Overall Performance
In my experience, this is one of the strongest overall lineups in the game.
It combines damage, survivability, crowd control, and excellent scaling.
If your equipment is good enough to support a Berserker, this should be one of your top priorities.
Berserker, Priest, Mage Lineup
Recommended For
- Fast stage clearing
- AoE-heavy content
- Advanced players
Frontline Damage Dealer: Berserker
The Berserker remains the primary source of damage and frontline pressure.
Proper gear remains absolutely necessary.
Support: Priest
The Priest provides healing and offensive support.
Without strong healing, the Berserker can quickly become overwhelmed during difficult encounters.
Area Damage Specialist: Mage
The Mage transforms this lineup into an AoE powerhouse.
Large enemy groups disappear rapidly thanks to the combined damage output of the Berserker and Mage.
Blizzard also introduces valuable crowd-control opportunities that can make difficult stages significantly easier.
Overall Performance
This lineup performs exceptionally well against large enemy waves.
The only downside is slightly weaker boss damage compared to Hunter or Ranger variations.
Berserker, Priest, Ranger Lineup
Recommended For
- Endgame players
- Maximum damage builds
- High-investment accounts
Frontline Damage Dealer: Berserker
This lineup asks everything from the Berserker.
It must survive.
It must deal damage.
It must carry the frontline.
The better your equipment becomes, the stronger this composition gets.
Support: Priest
The Priest provides the healing and buffs necessary to support such an aggressive setup.
Without strong Priest investment, the team can feel fragile.
Secondary Damage Dealer: Ranger
The Ranger adds enormous single-target damage.
Bosses can disappear incredibly quickly when both the Berserker and Ranger are fully developed.
The offensive potential of this composition is unmatched.
Overall Performance
This lineup has the highest damage ceiling among all major team compositions.
However, it is also the most expensive to build.
A poorly geared version often feels disappointing.
A fully optimized version can feel unstoppable.
