Roblox Slayers 2 Beginner Guide – Leveling, Farm Yen

If you have just started playing Slayers 2 and have no idea what you should do first, this day-one starter guide should help you get moving. There are quite a few things you can work toward early on, including leveling, becoming a Demon or Slayer, getting a Breathing Style, and preparing for Final Selection.

I’m going to walk you through the progression I followed, starting from the very first quests and then moving into the early leveling areas. I’ll also explain how you can become a Demon, where to farm Demon Horns, how to get your Breathing Style, and what you should do once you reach the higher levels.

The game can feel a little confusing when you first spawn in because there are so many different NPCs, quests, and locations. You don’t need to worry about doing everything immediately, though. If you follow this route and work on each part as you unlock it, you can make your early progression much smoother.

Roblox Slayers 2 Beginner Guide – Leveling, Farm Yen

The first thing I recommend doing when you enter the game is completing the quest from the old man near the starting area.

He will ask you to find several pages from a book.

The pages are scattered around the nearby area, but they are not too difficult to find.

Find the Five Pages

The first page is located next to the crystal near the entrance.

The second page can be found near a tree, also close to one of the entrances.

The third page is next to the small farmer in the area.

Another page can be found down the slope between the old man and the surrounding area.

The final page should be directly across from the old man.

Once you collect all of them, you will receive the Book of Guidance.

This book is extremely useful because it gives you recommended quests that you can follow as you level up.

Use the Recommended Quests to Level Up

Once you have the Book of Guidance, you can use it to see which quests the game recommends for your current progression.

For the most part, I recommend following these recommended quests because they give you a clear path through the early game.

There is one exception, though.

The book may recommend doing the spy-related quests early on, but you don’t necessarily have to do those immediately.

You can come back to them later when they become more relevant to your progression.

Decide Whether You Want to Become a Demon or Slayer

One of the first major choices you will make is whether you want to become a Demon or continue toward becoming a Slayer.

If you already know that you want to become a Slayer, you can simply skip the Demon section.

If you want to become a Demon, you need to start working on your negative reputation.

How to Get Negative Reputation

One way to get negative reputation is by attacking civilians in the starting town.

When you kill a civilian, you gain -1 reputation.

This is a simple way to start lowering your reputation, although there is a faster method.

Farm Misenottos for Negative Reputation

Another method is farming the Misenottos.

Follow the path shown in the game to reach their location.

Once you get there, you can repeatedly fight them using your M1 combo.

The idea is to keep the enemies in a loop where you attack them, allow them to get back up, and then continue attacking.

Each Misenotto gives you around -9 reputation when you kill it.

You need to reach -40 reputation before you can continue with the Demon progression.

Find M Once You Reach -40 Reputation

After reaching -40 reputation, M will call your name and become available for you to find.

M can be found in the city in front of the Gu spawn.

One important thing to remember is that M only appears at nighttime.

So if you arrive during the daytime and can’t find him, you may simply need to wait for night.

Run around the city until you spot him.

Once you find him, talk to him and he will give you a bell.

Enter M’s Lair

The bell is used to enter M’s lair.

Once you enter the lair, M will give you a quest involving nine Spider Lilies and a doctor.

Your next job is to collect the nine Spider Lilies.

Collect Nine Spider Lilies

Before you start collecting the lilies, I recommend setting your spawn point in the middle of the pond.

This will make the farming process much easier because you can reset and return to the same area.

The Spider Lilies spawn around the area near Guilu and the Water Trainee.

Simply move around this section of the map and collect the lilies as they spawn.

More Spider Lily Locations

You can also travel slightly farther out from the main area to find additional Spider Lilies.

There are some near the shrine.

You can also climb the mountain and look near the tree branch, where another Spider Lily can spawn.

Once you collect a lily, you can reset your character so that you return to the pond.

This makes it easier to repeatedly farm the same general area until you have all nine.

Rescue the Doctor

After collecting all nine Spider Lilies, make sure you have Double Jump and Wall Climb unlocked in your skill tree.

Then make your way toward the red marker on the map.

This is where you need to capture the doctor.

But there is an important warning here.

Once you capture the doctor, Slayers will start spawning and trying to stop you.

How to Escape the Slayers

The best strategy I found is to keep moving.

When the Slayers get close, spam your jump and dash movements so you can avoid their attacks and abilities.

When they are far away, switch back to normal sprinting.

The reason for this is that you need to recover your stamina.

Eventually, the Slayers can teleport back toward you.

When they do, immediately start jumping and dashing again to avoid their attacks.

Your goal is to reach the white downward arrow and deliver the doctor so you can receive M’s blood.

Become a Demon

Once you successfully deliver the doctor and receive the blood, simply drink it.

After drinking the blood, your character will become a Demon.

That’s basically the main Demon transformation process.

If you decided to stay on the Slayer path instead, you can simply continue with the normal progression.

Start Leveling With the Bandits

Whether you are a Demon or planning to become a Slayer, the next part of the progression is mostly the same.

Talk to the appropriate NPC and start taking the bandit quests.

Your first goal should be reaching around level 10.

Once you reach level 10, you can start repeatedly completing the Bandit Boss quest.

Farm the Bandit Boss for the Cutlass

I strongly recommend farming the Bandit Boss for its Cutlass.

The boss has a chance to drop the Cutlass, and getting this weapon early can make your progression much faster.

The reason I recommend getting it is simple: fighting with your fists is much slower, especially once you start moving into the harder quests.

So instead of immediately leaving the Bandit Boss behind, I would spend some time farming it until you get the Cutlass.

Once you have the weapon, your early-game grinding becomes much easier.

Follow the Recommended Quests

You can also open your map to see the recommended quest for your current area.

For example, once you move toward the bear area, you can start working on the Mother Bear quests.

As you continue progressing through the map, new recommended quests will become available.

If you are a Demon, you can also work toward the quests around Cadence, including the drops associated with her.

Eventually, you will unlock the level 50 quest.

Start Farming the Level 50 Boss

Once you reach the higher-level areas, there is a boss that is worth farming whether you are a Slayer or Demon.

The boss has a useful chest with several potential rewards.

I recommend farming it whenever you are strong enough because boss farming gives you both experience and the opportunity to improve your equipment.

At this stage, you should start thinking about your long-term build instead of simply leveling.

Farm Demon Horns for Your Breathing Style

Another important part of your progression is getting your Breathing Style.

To learn a Breathing Style, you need to be around level 25, along with the required materials.

One of the main materials you need is Demon Horns.

Where to Farm Demon Horns

The Demon Horns can be farmed inside the cave near the waterfall.

Head into the cave and start defeating the horned demons inside.

These enemies can drop Demon Horns, so keep farming them until you have enough.

According to the guide, you need around 10 Demon Horns and approximately 6,000 Yen to learn a Breathing Style.

Some Breathing Styles may require additional materials, so make sure you check the specific requirements for the style you want.

Farm Beast Cores if Your Breathing Style Requires Them

Some Breathing Styles can also require Beast Cores.

If your chosen style needs them, you can farm the Beast Core demons near the Gu boss area.

These demons appear at nighttime, so don’t worry if you visit the area during the day and don’t see them.

Wait until night and then start defeating the demons to collect the Beast Cores.

Get Your Breathing Style

Once you have reached level 25 and collected the required materials, travel to the trainer for the Breathing Style you want.

There are different trainers for different styles, so you need to find the correct trainer for your chosen ability.

After meeting the requirements, you can begin the training process.

Once you obtain your Breathing Style, I recommend immediately working on its mastery.

Get at Least Three Breathing Moves

I recommend leveling your Breathing Style until you have at least three moves unlocked.

Having multiple abilities makes a huge difference when you start fighting stronger enemies.

You don’t need to completely max the mastery before continuing, but having three moves should give you enough tools to handle the next stage of progression.

An Easy Way to Farm Mastery

One way I farmed mastery was by repeatedly fighting the Demon Boss inside the cave.

You can also keep defeating the demons around the cave.

This lets you work toward mastery while also farming other useful materials.

Prepare for Final Selection

Once you have your Breathing Style and at least three moves, you should be in a much better position to attempt Final Selection.

Final Selection is relatively straightforward, but there are a few annoying objectives where knowing the locations beforehand can save you a lot of time.

Final Selection Item Locations

During Final Selection, you will have to find several different items.

Knowing where they are before starting can make the process much easier.

Grape Location

The grapes can be found behind the NPC, near the tree.

Simply go behind the NPC and look around the tree area.

Banana Location

The banana is located directly to the left of the NPC who gives you the objective.

It is not too far away, so this should be one of the easier items to find.

Apple Location

The apple should be directly in front of the NPC.

Look around the immediate area and you should be able to spot it.

Nichirin Katana Location

The Nichirin Katana can be a little more annoying to find.

From the NPC who asks you to find it, head southwest.

Be careful not to go too far.

If you reach the Dungeon NPC, you have gone too far and need to turn back.

The Nichirin Katana should be located between the two NPCs in that area.

Once you know roughly where to look, this part becomes much easier.

Complete Final Selection

After you have collected the required items and completed the objectives, you can finish Final Selection.

Once you successfully complete it, you become a Demon Slayer.

This is a major milestone because you can now move into the next stage of Slayer progression.

Improve Your Slayer Progress

After becoming a Slayer, head toward the Butterfly Estate.

You can purchase gourds in this area.

Every time you purchase and consume one of these gourds, you gain Slayer progress.

As you increase your Slayer level, you unlock additional buffs.

For example, reaching Slayer Level 2 gives you increased max health, health factor, and max stamina.

The exact benefits can change depending on the game’s progression, but these upgrades are definitely worth working toward.

Get an Animal Mount

There are also animals around the map that you can tame.

At the moment, the guide mentions animals such as the horse and boar.

Keep in mind that taming an animal requires around 15,000 Yen.

The main advantage is movement speed.

Getting a mount can make traveling around the map much less annoying, especially once you start traveling between different boss locations.

Farm Bosses for Yen

If you need Yen for mounts, equipment, or other upgrades, boss farming is one of the main ways to make money.

You can fight the bosses solo, but I personally find the game much more enjoyable when playing with friends.

Party up with other players and focus on defeating bosses quickly.

As you defeat more bosses, you will collect a lot of coin pouches.

Sell Your Coin Pouches

Once you have accumulated a good number of coin pouches, take them to the town where Muzan spawns.

Find the NPC who can handle the selling process.

The first time you talk to him, you may need to complete his quest.

After completing it, you will be able to sell your items.

This is a good way to turn all those coin pouches from your boss farming into Yen.

Check the Archives for Your Build

Once you have completed the main progression and collected some of the drops you need, the next step is really up to you.

I recommend checking the Archives to see what items are available and deciding what you want for your particular build.

For example, if you want to focus heavily on damage, you can look for equipment and drops that improve your offensive capabilities.

You can then target the bosses that drop those specific items.

Start Farming the Drops You Need

At this point, the game becomes much more about building your character.

Instead of simply asking, “How do I level up?”, you can start asking, “What items do I need for my build?”

For example, you might target specific boss drops such as a Stone Haori or Rengoku-related equipment.

Some of these drops can be extremely rare, so expect to spend some time farming them.

If you have luck boosts, they can help with the grind, but you should still expect some rare items to take multiple attempts.

Survive Iceveil Valley

Eventually, you will reach Iceveil Valley.

There is one important problem here: the winter environment causes you to take damage.

If you want to farm this area safely, you need to obtain the item that provides cold immunity.

Find the Yeti Boss

To deal with the cold, you need to head toward the area around the White Terror Lair.

Drop down into the area and enter the lair.

Once inside, climb upward and you will eventually reach the Yeti Boss.

However, you cannot simply walk up and fight the Yeti.

You need a Frozen Heart to unlock the encounter.

Get the Frozen Heart

Frozen Hearts can be obtained from Sealed Chests around the map.

To open these chests, you need to defeat the NPCs guarding the area.

Once you defeat them, the chest becomes available.

Keep farming these chests until you get the Frozen Heart you need.

Get the Yeti Lantern

Once you have a Frozen Heart, you can use it to unlock the Yeti Boss.

The Yeti has around a 25% chance to drop the lantern you need to deal with the cold.

Because the drop is not guaranteed, you may have to fight the Yeti multiple times.

Once you finally obtain the lantern, you can use it to build up your cold immunity and safely farm the snow area.

What to Do After Your Starter Progression

Once you have your Breathing Style, Final Selection completed, useful equipment collected, and access to the higher-level areas, the game becomes much more open-ended.

At this point, I would focus on whatever fits your build.

You can:

  • Farm bosses
  • Collect rare drops
  • Upgrade your Slayer progression
  • Farm Yen
  • Get a mount
  • Level your Breathing Style
  • Farm equipment for your build
  • Explore Iceveil Valley
  • Continue following the questline
  • Work toward max level

You don’t necessarily need to rush everything.

Slayers 2 can feel overwhelming when you first join because there are so many different things you can work toward. I wouldn’t worry about trying to complete everything immediately.

Start with the Book of Guidance, follow the recommended quests, and get yourself a decent weapon as early as possible. From there, decide whether you want to become a Demon or Slayer and start working toward the progression specific to your character.

For Slayers, getting your Breathing Style and preparing for Final Selection should be some of your biggest early goals. For Demons, focus on getting your Blood Demon Art and building your character around the abilities and equipment you want.

Once you get into the later game, the progression becomes much more about boss farming, collecting rare drops, improving your build, and reaching max level. And honestly, I think the game is much more fun when you do that part with friends rather than trying to do every boss alone.
