ROB RUN Loot Guide – Where to Find, Sell, Store

Getting loot in ROB RUN is only half the job. You can rob houses, stores, banks, and other valuable locations, but none of that matters if you lose everything before reaching safety. Knowing where to find valuables, how to sell them, and where to store your earnings is essential if you want to build your criminal operation.

In this guide, we’ll cover the complete loot system in ROB RUN. I’ll explain the best places to search, how to handle alarms during robberies, where to sell stolen valuables, and how to protect your money after a successful heist. We’ll also look at what happens when you die, surrender to the police, or get caught carrying valuable items.

ROB RUN Loot Guide – Where to Find, Sell, Store

Loot in ROB RUN includes much more than cash. You can collect valuable items, equipment, vehicle keys, weapon modifications, keys for hidden rooms, building blueprints, land deeds, and other items.

However, valuables are what you’ll most often collect and sell to earn money.

Most robberies take place in Looty Bay. You can explore the city before becoming a Criminal, but putting on a mask changes everything. Once you wear a mask, you become a Criminal, and police officers and other players can become threats.

Understanding Notoriety

Notoriety is another important part of the loot system. It increases when you complete multiple heists during the same visit to the city.

Higher Notoriety can give you better deals from Fences and additional perks, but it also increases the risk of your criminal activities.

Your starting Notoriety can also depend on your group size. Solo players and duos start with higher Notoriety than larger crews.

Where to Find Loot in ROB RUN

There are several places to search for valuable items in Looty Bay. Your options include houses, stores, high-value robbery locations, dumpsters, and Shipments.

Houses, Stores, and High-Value Targets

Houses and stores are common robbery targets. If you’re looking for more valuable loot, you can also consider banks and the art gallery, although these locations carry greater risks.

Weapons can spawn around the city as well. The November 4 update added more starter-weapon spawn locations, so you should explore the city instead of relying on getting a free pistol after every death.

How to Rob a House

House robberies require you to deal with security systems and the people inside.

A typical robbery works like this:

  1. Find the house you want to rob.
  2. Locate the alarm panel outside the building.
  3. Press E to disable the alarm.
  4. Enter the house and search for valuable items.
  5. Point your weapon at the people inside to prevent them from calling the police.
  6. Collect the loot and prepare your escape.

Even after disabling the alarm, witnesses and other players can still attract police attention. Keep an eye on your surroundings and plan your escape before entering.

If you’re playing with a team, divide responsibilities. Some players can enter the building while others carry loot or provide cover.

Vehicle Trunks and Helicopters

Don’t ignore vehicles while exploring Looty Bay.

You can use a Lockpick tool purchased from the Black Market to open vehicle trunks, including police car trunks.

Helicopters are another source of lootable vehicles, although they are rare.

Dumpsters

Dumpsters are worth checking, especially when you don’t have much equipment or money.

They provide more cash than before, making them a useful option for beginners who want to earn something without immediately attempting a major heist.

However, dumpster searching isn’t necessarily more profitable than completing a proper robbery.

Shipments

Shipments also received changes in the November 4 update.

Dismantling and selling Shipments now pays significantly more, but there are two important trade-offs:

  • Shipments drop less frequently.
  • Dismantling them takes longer.

The Buletti can no longer carry Shipments, so don’t rely on older guides that recommend using it for transportation.

How to Sell Loot in ROB RUN

Collecting valuables is only useful when you turn them into money. Once you’ve finished a robbery, you need to find a buyer.

The two main options covered here are the Fence in Looty Bay and the district Sales Center.

Sell Valuables to the Fence

The Fence is one of the main buyers for stolen valuables.

Look for a van marked with a dollar sign on your Looty Bay map. This is the Fence’s location.

Take your stolen valuables there and complete the sale to receive cash.

Your Notoriety and the value of your loot affect the amount you receive, so completing multiple heists can influence your selling rewards.

Sell Loot at a District Sales Center

Sales Centers also purchase valuables, but they have an important restriction: you must be a resident of the district to use them.

This means you’ll need to rent a plot in the relevant settlement before accessing its Sales Center.

District hubs can offer better payouts than selling in the city, making them worth considering once you own property.

How to Keep Your Money After Selling

Successfully selling your loot doesn’t mean your money is automatically safe.

Cash can still be stolen or confiscated, so you should take a few precautions after completing a sale.

Collect Your Cash Immediately

After selling valuables, take the cash from the counter instead of leaving it there.

Cash left behind can be stolen or confiscated, so collect your earnings as soon as the transaction is complete.

Leave Looty Bay to Clear Criminal Status

After collecting your money, make sure you leave Looty Bay.

Simply removing your mask isn’t enough to clear your Criminal status. You must actually exit the city.

This is an important step if you want to finish your robbery and return to safety.

How to Escape With Your Loot

A successful robbery depends on more than getting inside and collecting valuable items. You also need a reliable escape plan.

Before putting on your mask, explore the target location and identify a possible exit route.

Once you become a Criminal, police officers and other players can interfere with your plans.

Keep these points in mind:

  • Scout the building before starting the robbery.
  • Identify an escape route in advance.
  • Consider how much loot you can carry.
  • Choose a suitable vehicle for transporting your valuables.
  • Avoid unnecessary fights that could put your loot at risk.
  • Make sure you leave Looty Bay to clear your Criminal status.

What If the Police Catch You?

If the police catch you, you need to understand the difference between surrendering and offering a bribe.

When you surrender, the contents of your bag are confiscated, but you keep your equipped gear.

You can also offer a bribe using your bank account. If the police officer accepts, you can leave with both your bag and equipped gear.

However, there is no guarantee that the officer will accept your offer.

How to Store Loot and Protect Your Cash

Once you start earning money regularly, protecting it becomes just as important as collecting it.

ROB RUN offers different storage options, including Lenny’s cash storage, your own base, and bank accounts.

Lenny’s Cash Storage vs. Base Storage

Lenny’s storage is designed for cash, while your base can store stolen goods and other valuables.

However, your base isn’t completely safe. Other players can raid it by using a decoder against a rival Security System.

The base owner can repair the Security System to restore its protection.

This means you should keep an eye on your base’s security instead of assuming your stored loot is permanently safe.

Federal Raid and the Seven-Day Wipe

ROB RUN currently uses a seven-day wipe cycle.

During the Federal Raid wipe, plots, bases, weapons, and cash are wiped and converted into jail time and authority.

The following progress carries over:

  • Cosmetics.
  • Your character name.
  • Tutorial progress.
  • Settings.
  • Jail time.

Because of this system, loot is mainly valuable for the current week. Make sure you use your earnings and plan your progression before the next wipe.

A Note About Reported Lost Loot

Some players have reported losing items after logging out and returning to the game.

One reported case involved a player who logged out with more than 400,000 cash and pistols in a bag, only to return and find older loot instead. Another player also reported missing items.

These are player-reported incidents and may indicate a bug rather than an intended game mechanic. Be cautious when storing valuable items, and check for updates if you experience similar problems.

Bank Accounts and Money Laundering

A bank account is one of the best ways to protect your earnings.

Money stored in your bank account cannot be stolen by other players. You can also use money laundering to convert dirty cash into clean money.

To get started:

  1. Visit the bank in Looty Bay.
  2. Open a bank account.
  3. Obtain your own plot and house.
  4. Place a Laundering Desk at your base.
  5. Load dirty cash into the desk.
  6. Collect your clean money through your bank account.

Your Laundering Desk can continue processing money even when you’re offline.

You can also use Lenny’s laundering service before owning a house, although he takes a cut of your earnings.

For a more detailed explanation of dirty cash, clean money, BCoin, laundering upgrades, and selling options, check our ROB RUN Money and Laundering Guide.

What Happens to Your ROB RUN Loot When You Die?

Your losses depend on your current role and how you die. A Criminal, Citizen, and Cop do not have the same death penalties.

Here’s a breakdown of the situations covered in this guide:

Situation What Happens to Your Loot
Criminal dies in Looty Bay You lose your inventory
Criminal surrenders to police Bag contents are confiscated, but equipped gear is kept
Police officer accepts your bribe You keep your bag and equipped gear
Citizen dies in Looty Bay You keep your bag contents and equipped gear
Police officer dies Department-issued gear is lost, while personal items are kept
Anyone dies in the desert You lose all loot

Criminal Death

If you die while playing as a Criminal in Looty Bay, you lose your inventory.

This is why escaping with your loot should always be your priority.

Surrendering to Police

Surrendering is a safer alternative when you cannot escape.

You lose your bag contents, but your equipped gear remains with you.

Bribe Accepted by Police

If a police officer accepts your bribe, you can keep both your bag contents and equipped gear.

This is one of the best possible outcomes when a robbery goes wrong, although acceptance is never guaranteed.

Citizen Death

Citizens can explore Looty Bay without the same inventory risks as Criminals.

If you die as a Citizen, you keep your bag contents and equipped gear.

Police Officer Death

When a police officer dies, department-issued equipment is lost, while personal belongings are kept.

Death in the Desert

The desert is particularly dangerous because dying there means losing all your loot, regardless of the situation described in the guide.
