Maple Tale has various classes to pick from at the start of the game. These classes are all based on different archetypes that will have a significant impact on how the character develops, including which traits they will naturally excel or struggle with.

Each Maple Tale class will also have access to unique starting gear that will reflect the playstyle of that character. Come and see Maple Tale Classes Guide Wiki & Tier List – Detailed Stats

Maple Tale Classes Guide & Tier List – Detailed Stats

This isn’t a build guide. This Maple Tale Classes Guide Wiki & Tier List – Detailed Stats guide is also not focused to just a single class, but is applicable to all classes. Think of it more like a Cheat-sheet. You can use this to plan out how you want to build your character, what kind of player you want to be, and what could be the best stats for you to focus on.

Here I make an explanation on each stat and what they do. Additionally I also highlight what you could focus on (Note that this is entirely my opinion from experience based on multiple different games, not only from Maple Tale. I am basically making a generalisation based on what I think is logical or works). Some stats may be more important than other during the time of this post, but may change in the later stages of the game.

Mages should ONLY focus on MAGIC. Avoid STR and AGI. (Typo in image)

HIT: Accuracy of attacks. The higher this stat is, the more accurate your attack. HIT does not increase the speed of your attacks.
ATK SPD: Attack Speed. The higher this stat, the faster you deal basic attacks.

Maple Tale Classes Base Stats

HP (Health Points) -The amount of damage your character can take before being defeated.

MP (Mana Points) – The resource used to cast spells or activate special abilities.

DEF (Defense) – Reduces the amount of damage your character takes from enemy attacks. A higher defense stat means less damage received from physical or magical hits.

STR (Strength) – Increases the physical attack power of a warrior. Higher STR boosts damage dealt.

AGI (Agility) – Boosts the physical attack power of archers. Higher AGI increases damage from ranged attacks.

MAGIC (Magic) – Enhances the magical attack power of mages. A higher MAGIC increases the damage dealt by spells and magical abilities.

Each class uses HP, MP, and DEF. Balancing HP and DEF are key to ensure survival during fights. MP lets your characters use various types of skills. While it is important, try not to focus too much on maxing or increasing these 3 stats too much. As you level up, these stats will increase too.

STR, AGI, and MAGIC are specialized stats and are only used by ONE class each. It doesn’t matter what kind of items you get, you should only focus on ONE of these stats according to your character. The others will be useless.

  • Warriors should ONLY focus on STR. Avoid AGI and MAGIC.
  • Archers should ONLY focus on AGI. Avoid STR and MAGIC.
  • Mages should ONLY focus on MAGIC. Avoid STR and AGI.

Maple Tale Classes Advanced Stats 1

HP Boost – Increases your HP by %. (Eg: 1000 HP with 10% HP Boost = 1100 HP)

MP Boost – Increases your MP by %. (Eg: 1000 MP with 10% MP Boost = 1100 MP)

Fixed DMG – Fixed amount of damage dealt. It doesn’t matter how high the enemies HP or DEF is, this stat will always deal this damage. Exception for the stat Fixed DMG RED.

Fixed DMG RED Reduces the amount of Fixed DMG received. Similar to DEF but with a fixed value. Eg: If you were attacked by 1000 DMG, but you have 100 Fixed DMG RED, you will only receive 900 DMG.

HIT – Hitrate of your basic attacks. The higher this stat, the faster you basic attacks.

EVA – Increases the chance to avoid attacks and effects. Basically makes the enemy miss their attacks. The higher this stat, the higher chance to avoid attacks.

Crit Rate – Increases chances to deal Crit DMG. The higher the stat, the higher the chances to deal massive damage.

Crit RES – Decreases chances to get hit by Crit DMG. The higher the stat, the lower the chances to get hit by critical hits.

Maple Tale Classes Advanced Stats 2

Crit DMG (Crit Rate Boost) – Deals massive damage to enemies. Basic stat start at 150%. Eg: 1000 DMG with 10% Crit DMG (+150% basic) = 1600 DMG dealt.

HP Steal – Restores a certain amount of HP from each hit. Eg: 100 HP Steal will restore 100 HP.

MP Steal – Restores a certain amount of MP from each hit. Eg: 100 MP Steal will restore 100 MP.

DMG AMP – Amplifies the damage dealt by %. Applies to basic attacks and skills. Effectively increases all damage stats but does not ignore DEF. An enemy with high DEF can still reduce the damage received. Eg: 1000 DMG with 10% DMG AMP = 1100 DMG.

DMG RED – Reduces the damage received by %. Not the same as DEF stat. Basically decreases damage received by basic attacks and skills. Eg: 1000 DMG with 10% DMG RED = 900 DMG.

Lucky Strike – Increases damage dealt by 5% with every point. – Eg: 1000 DMG with 2 point Lucky Strike = 1000 DMG + (5×2)% = 1100 DMG.

If the point exceeds 20, the additional points will instead increase ATK by 5% per point. Eg: 1000 DMG with 30 point Lucky Strike = 1000 DMG + (5×20)% + (5×10)% = 2500 DMG.

Out of all these special stats, you may choose whichever stats you want to suit your playstyle.

If you want to have a high burst build, a “Glass Cannon”, focus on Crit Rate, Crit Dmg (also known as Crit Rate Boost), and DMG AMP. This will give massive damage output but will sacrifice defense and damage per second.

If you want to have a high DEF build, a “Tanker”, focus on HP Boost and DMG RED. Additionally, focus on the DEF base stat as well. You may also choose to add some Fixed DMG RED and EVA to increase survivability. This will ensure you can survive for extended periods of time.

If you want to have a constant damage build, “DPS Junkie”, focus mainly on Fixed DMG and Fixed DMG AMP. Additionally, focus on either STR, AGI, or MAGIC base stats depending on your character class. You may also add some DEF, Fixed DMG RED, and EVA to increase survivability as well.

These three types are the most common way players choose to build their characters. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages.

“Glass Cannon”, massive damage but pretty low survivability. Can dish out big amounts of damage but usually dies the quickest.

“Tanker”, high survivability but low damage output. Survives the longest but usually not able to deal enough damage to deal finishing blows or constant damage.

“DPS Junkie”, deals constant damage and can survive for a decent amount of time. However, usually only able to chip away slowly at enemies’ HP. Works more like a support to the other two types.
