If you’re stuck on a locked door, you’ll also find the correct disc combinations to proceed further.
Look Outside Walkthrough Guide – Food, Recipes, Endings, Planet Disc Locations
Basic Controls:
Movement: Up (W), Down (S), Left (A), Right (D)
Interaction: Accept (E / Left Click), Cancel (X / Right Click)
Menu & Inventory: Open Inventory (Esc)
Other Shortcuts: Fullscreen (F4), Reload (F5), Developer Console (F12)
Navigation: You can also use a mouse or touch controls (though touch has not been tested).
Stats:
HP (Health Points): Represents your character’s life.
STM (Stamina): Used for various actions, including skills.
Ammo: Amount of bullets available for ranged weapons.
Attack: Determines melee weapon damage.
Defense: Reduces incoming damage.
Ballistics: Affects ranged weapon damage.
Bullet Defense: Reduces damage taken from bullets.
Agility: Possibly influences evasion and attack speed.
Luck: Increases critical hit chances and possibly affects status effects.
Critical Hit: Unconfirmed damage boost (1.5x?) and possibly bypasses defense.
Evasion: Likely based on Agility and Luck, affecting dodge chance.
Planet Disc Values
Each planet disc has a specific numerical value used for solving puzzles.
- Negative Disc → -10
- Venus → 0
- Mercury → 0
- Earth → 1
- Mars → 2
- Pluto → 5
- Sun → 13
- Neptune → 16
- Uranus → 28
- Jupiter → 95
- Saturn → 146
Planet Disc Locations
Each disc is hidden in different parts of the complex. Follow these instructions to find them.
3rd Floor
Void/Negative Disc – Inside the telescope room in Apartment 31.
Turn off the living room lights.
Walk back to the telescope room while the lights are off.
Interact with the telescope and point it outside.
A reflection will appear on the ground—stand on it, interact, and place the Void disc on it to transform it into the Negative Disc.
Mercury – Inside the frozen apartment, bottommost door, all the way to the right.
Pluto – Found in the telescope room of Apartment 31 (can be collected with lights on or off).
1st Floor
Earth – Feed the wall with a mouth, and it will vomit out the Earth disc.
Mars – Requires the Earth sigil to open the door where it is kept.
Ground Floor
Jupiter – Found in the landlord’s apartment.
After paying all the bills, explore the tunnels.
It’s located in a room to the right (no door, just a hole in the wall).
Venus – Located in the bathroom filled with red roots.
Use herbicide to clear the roots and retrieve the disc.
Uranus – Found at Mutt’s Fish and Chips, in the topmost door on the left.
Sun – After the bus, enter the leftmost corridor, then go to the top room.
Saturn – Found beyond the Saturn door in the same room where you find the Sun sigil.
Basement
Neptune – Located in the Fungi Biome.
Look for the section where you step on white mushrooms to open and close passages.
Planet Disc Combinations for Doors
Several locked doors require specific planet disc combinations. Here are the solutions:
Ground Floor Entrance
Combination:
- Earth
- Mars
Security Room Entrance (Basement)
You need two pairs of discs that have the same total value.
One correct combination allows you to open an additional door inside the Security Room.
Combination:
- Sun + Pluto
- Equals
- Neptune + Mars
Second Door Inside Security Room
Combination:
- Uranus
- Negative Disc
- Saturn Door (Ground Floor)
You must keep Mars in your inventory to open this door.
Combination:
- Jupiter
- Pluto
- Uranus
- Neptune
- Mars
Planet Disc Recipes (Transformations & Combinations)
Here are the known ways to transform or combine planet discs:
Void Disc → Negative Disc
Steps:
- Find the Void Disc in the telescope room (Apartment 31).
- Turn off the living room lights.
- Return to the telescope room with the lights off.
- Interact with the telescope and point it outside.
- A reflection appears on the ground—stand on it, interact, and place the Void Disc to transform it into the Negative Disc.
Earth + Mars → Unlocks Ground Floor Entrance
Sun + Pluto = Neptune + Mars
- Used to unlock Security Room Entrance (Basement).
Uranus + Negative Disc → Unlocks Second Door Inside Security Room
Jupiter + Pluto + Uranus + Neptune + Mars → Unlocks Saturn Door (Ground Floor).
