Legacy Steel & Sorcery Priest Guide – Abilities, Weapons

Abilities

These will somewhat depend on your weapon.

Spirit Shell(unlocked trait): this is your block(RMB), if held for 3 seconds the shield will stay on you for 20 seconds(this has a 20 second cooldown). # of block pips are dependent on the weapon. (Scepter: 3, Staff: 4, S&B: 5)

Radiant Dash(15 stamina): this used by sprinting(shift) until you see air streaks and click LMB. the dash damages enemies hit and generates a holy spark.

Holy Nova: AOE Pushback – hold RMB + click LMB.

Ascend: unlocked mastery, while floating press evade(CTRL) you will fly up costing stamina based on how much moved. Initial boost costs more stamina, costs less as you hold it longer

Holy Spark: Unlocked mastery, these are sparks that spawned from certain abilities/attacks- when an enemy walks into a spark they are stunned. When priest walks into a spark their dmg is buffed(stacking 3x) which lasts 20(or 30?) sec. Can retrigger duration/buff by absorbing another spark.

Heal:

  • Minor(scepter) is a smaller heal and has travel distance(except self heal). If held increases the number of heals up to 3 allies.
  • Major(Staff) is a larger heal and is an instant heal(no travel time). Can be held up to 3 seconds for 3x heal amount, single target.

Penitence: Holy affliction. Attackers are healed for 10% of dmg dealt. Lasting 3 min. Gleaming star applies 50% penitence. Standing on heaven’s fury runes stacks penitence. Ray of Light applies penitence.

Weapons

Staff: charged attack is a beam(Ray of Light), depending on the staff. Pierces through multiple targets, and drains energy over time. Best for PVE

Scepter: auto aim. Charged attacks depend on scepter. Can do multi attacks with charged attacks, up to 3 targets. Okay for PVP(good in trios)

Sword & Buckler(S&B):

  • Mercy and Might – seems good in prolonged fights
  • Star and Moon – good for chasing enemies
  • Crescent beam(charge lmb) slows target
  • Truth and Valor – good in long fights
  • Enduring Light: the effects of sword of light lasts longer
Best for PVP(good in solos & trios)

Skills

Mirror: can be used to block projectiles, stagger enemies, and empower attacks

  • Divine – stationary, good to play around/hold an area, empower attacks and Only 1 at a time, reactivating will break mirror & cost energy. Has hp, and can be broken by dmg
  • Floating – moves forward, good to push ranged enemies. Can have multiple and Does not have hp, expires after 6 seconds.

Gleaming Star: primary damage, be careful if you’re too close it can damage+Stagger you. – can be reactivated to detonate early.

  • Gleaming Star – auto target enemy, simple and powerful. Good for pvp/pve
  • Guided Star – you control the ability, good in team play. Downside, unable to move character. Does 50% more dmg that gleaming star and a larger radius. Can also pierce through targets, dealing dmg to each target it passes through before detonating. Can evade to cancel ability
  • Bouncing Star – good for pve/ close combat areas, bounces off enemies and walls.

Heaven’s wrath: stuns for 2 sec. – unblockable dmg

  • Heaven’s fury – strong ability. Tap = auto targets onto enemy. Hold = able to aim ability, the longer you hold the quicker the detonation time
  • Heaven’s ward – targets ally or self. good with frontline teammates
  • Heaven’s wrath – slow, but powerful. Good for pve & pvp with S&B

Gear

  • Helmet: imo not too important
  • Radiant Hood: Dealing Damage with Heaven’s Fury increases the damage of your next Ray of Light(Staff charged attack)
  • Divinity’s Embrace: Your cleaning star now costs Spirit but its explosion also heals nearby allies
  • Battlepriest’s Highcrown: Hitting enemy with Radiant Dash reduces cast time of next charged attack(scepter)

Shoulders:

  • Radiant Spaulders: Your Divine Mirror and Floating Mirror rotate to better keep the priest protected.
  • Divinity’s Mantle: Hitting a target with your Gleaming Star reduces the cast time of your next charged Heal.
  • Battlepriest’s Shoulderguards: Consuming your Holy Sparks increases your movement speed for a short duration.

Tops:

  • Radiant Robe: Your attacks that travel through your Divine Mirror have their damage greatly increased.
  • Divinity’s Garbs: Your Prayer Card: Holy Shield instantly heals the target for a portion of the shield amount.
  • Battlepriest’s Lightguard: Your Spirit Shell reflects a small portion of the absorbed damage back at enemies.

Bottoms:

  • Radiant Leggings: Your Gleaming Star causes targets hit to become Snared for a short duration.
  • Divinity’s Mesh: Your Ascend applies to Spirit Shell, absorbing damage for a short duration.
  • Battlepriest’s Plated Pants: Enemies that touch your Divine Mirror become Staggered for a short duration.

Class tools

  • Spirit flask: used to replenish spirit, can be recharged at statues around greenwood.
  • Prayer cards: All of these have a 20 second cooldown
  • Holy shield: grants a shield – scales with ability power
  • Spiritual heal: flat 30% instant self heal costing spirit energy
  • Cleanse: cleanses all afflictions(including build up) except bleed.
