When the KingShot Christmas Festival first dropped, I did what most of us do — opened everything, stared at all the shiny buttons, and immediately felt like my wallet was in danger.
So I tested it. On multiple accounts. Bought the packs. Played the modes. Threw marbles. Checked the shops. And yeah… most of this event is designed to drain you fast if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Here’s what actually matters.
The Marble Doors – Where Your Free Value Comes From
The main event is all about marbles.
You throw marbles into doors, and they drop into a reward pool underneath. You can throw:
• 1 marble
• 5 marbles
• 10 marbles
• 20 marbles
The more you throw at once, the more you speed through the reward cycles.
Which Door Should You Use?
You’ll see two sides:
Left Doors
Use these if you need:
• Pure Gold TP
• Blacksmith Hammers
Right Doors
These are much better for:
• Chef Equipment
• Craftsman’s Vision
• Talisman Materials
• Extra Pure Gold
If you’re building long-term power, the right doors are your best friend.
There’s also a reward cycle system — after 15 marble drops, you’re guaranteed a featured reward, then it moves to the next, then loops again. That means your marbles always pay off eventually.
Packs – Almost All of Them Are Traps
Let’s be blunt.
Most of the Christmas packs are bad.
They mainly give:
• Marbles
• VIP Points
• Basic Resources
That’s it. No long-term value. No progression boosts. No real power.
The Only Pack Worth Buying
There is exactly one good pack in this entire event.
It’s the small starter Christmas pack (around $5 / €5).
What it gives:
• Double daily marble rewards
• TP
• A special frame
If you already spend money on King Shot, this pack pays for itself fast.
If you don’t spend money — skip everything.
Every other pack is whale-only territory.
The Event Shop – Don’t Fall for It
You’ll see a shop with insane token prices.
Most of this shop is not realistic for normal players.
The only thing actually worth buying here is:
• Mithril
Everything else requires ridiculous token amounts and is only reachable if you’re buying every pack back-to-back.
Christmas Symphony – Only Matters If You Buy Packs
This part unlocks puzzle rewards when you buy packs.
If you’re not buying packs — ignore it completely.
It offers nothing for free players.
Winter Trials
This is actually one of the best parts of the entire festival.
You’ll use:
• Epic Quest Keys
• Advanced Quest Keys
Important Rule
Do NOT dump all your keys on Day 1.
You’ll get tasks again on Day 3 and later days.
Your goal is simple:
• Reach 274,000 points
• Stop
• Move to the next day
• Repeat
That way, you get all reward tiers without competing against whales.
Pro Tip
Check your other events like:
• Alliance Operation
• Arms Race
If they share tasks with Winter Trials, play both at once and double-dip rewards.
Every day, you can find Santa three times in your city.
He gives:
• Diamonds
• Blacksmith Hammers
• Random bonuses
It takes a minute. Always do it.
Free diamonds are free diamonds.
Whale Awareness Tip
Before going hard in ranking events:
Check your server.
If there’s a known whale who isn’t planning to compete, you can sometimes safely go for high rankings with low effort. If they are competing, don’t waste your resources.
Play smart, not proud.
The Christmas Festival looks massive — but only two parts truly matter:
• Marble doors
• Winter Trials
Buy only the $5 pack if you’re a spender.
Ignore everything else.
Use your keys smartly.
Collect Santa every day.
And let the whales fight each other.
If you follow that, you’ll walk away with solid rewards and your wallet still intact.
