Jujutsu Beatdown The Strongest Update Guide – Simple Domain

The Strongest

The long-awaited completion of The Strongest is finally here. Alongside its kit, we now have the ultimate move “Final Vow” and expanded CE enhancements that modify existing skills rather than simply replacing them.

  • Simple Slash: Now scales faster and is overall stronger.
  • Upperslash: Gains ranged energy slices.
  • Batto: Enhancement now comes with audio feedback.
  • Superslash: Fires powerful ranged slices when enhanced.

Finisher moves also got some love:

  • Batto gets a full finisher.
  • Upperslash (1st slash) and Superslash (3rd slash) now have basic finisher animations.

These changes make The Strongest much smoother and more rewarding to play.

Heavenbound Updates

Heavenbound receives a new Skill 2 – Dropkick, with two unique versions:

  • Ground Variant: Uses Playful Cloud to grab the enemy before delivering a devastating dropkick.
  • Air Variant: Can be used mid-air with auto-aim for mobility and punishment.

Additional refinements include:

  • Heavenly Restriction mode no longer has a CE cost.
  • Weapon swapping deactivates the mode, with an added swap animation.
  • Playful Cloud finally has proper sound effects.
  • Visual polish to counters and abilities for cleaner gameplay.

New Core Mechanic – Simple Domain

A huge mechanic is here: Simple Domain. Every character (except Heavenbound) can now activate it via the awakening button.

  • Requires at least 10% awakening meter to activate.
  • Drains your awakening bar over time while active.
  • Provides buffs: increased damage, movement speed, and protection against sure-hit domains.
  • Deactivates if you leave the domain or manually turn it off.

This mechanic adds new layers of strategy, especially in competitive matches.

New Game Mode – Mega Threat

The update introduces Mega Threat, a fun new game mode where an Elixir Potion spawns in the map. Whoever drinks it transforms into a new temporary character with three unique abilities:

  • Leap
  • Spin
  • Barrage

An ultimate move is also planned for this mode in the future. The devs may even allow it to spawn in PS+ lobbies (with rewards disabled).

Balance Changes & QoL

Character Tweaks

  • King of Curses:
    • Fuga no longer grants awakening meter.
    • Dissect stun time reduced.
  • Cursed Fist:
    • Beatdown damage reduced across the board.
    • Black Flash ranged variant nerfed.
    • Cursed Sweep no longer guard breaks.
    • Beatdown cooldown increased.
  • Heavenbound:
    • Cleaner recast mechanics for Immense Strength.
    • Default weapon now fists until other variants are chosen.
    • Silent Armory now correctly extends air combos.
    • Polished effects for Severing Fang destruction.
  • The Strongest:
    • Supercuts can now be blocked and no longer bypass ultimates.
    • Superslash recasts adjusted to fix M1 issues.
    • Final Superslash recast is harder to escape.
    • Increased stun time on Superslash downslash.

Other Changes

  • CE colors now sync properly with awakening outfits.
  • Ranked lobby leaderboards load earlier.
  • Mobile UI improvements.
  • Accessories optimized (some texture quality trade-offs).
  • Lock-On adjustments: many moves disable it during velocity-based attacks.
  • Thukuna nerfed again, with reduced range.

Bug Fixes

A massive wave of fixes landed:

  • Destruction ability bugs and void/instant-death issues addressed.
  • Fixed lingering VFX on Limitless Rush.
  • Fixed Stand Summon emote bug.
  • Default CE color for Authentic Love corrected.
  • Mobile slide delay removed.
  • Thukuna bugs patched (again).
  • Dash Back animation lock fixed.
  • Finishers like Web Cleave and Batto now properly grant I-frames.
  • Aura deletion issues resolved.
  • Fixed Heavenbound black flash glitch.

New Free Code

Use the code:
MiwaFinished – Redeem for 150 gems (valid for one week).

Update #25 is a big one, fully fleshing out The Strongest while also pushing Jujutsu Beatdown into new territory with Simple Domain and the Mega Threat mode. With polished combat mechanics, better QoL across the board, and steady weekly/bi-weekly updates, the game is shaping up to be both more competitive and more fun for casual play.
