Idle Hero TD Beginner Guide

Map Breakdown

Idle Hero TD Beginner Guide - Perks, Maps, Spells Tips

Wave 0: Island Hideout

Default Stats

These first two maps are exactly the starter maps. Snow Fort can be used to push to 400 in the early game, and some will find use in the midgame push as well!

Wave 400: Barren Desert

  • +30% Range
  • +25% Rank EXP
  • +5% Synergy Bonus
  • -5% Kill Gold

This map will be your primary Rank XP farm location, and where you will likely spend most of your time!

Wave 2000: Lava Dungeon

  • +75% Damage
  • +50% Kill Gold
  • +15% Attack Speed
  • -10% Splash Damage
  • -50% Rank EXP

This is where you will likely push your max wave possible, as the perks are incredible.

Wave 800: Haunted Cemetery

  • -25% Skill Cooldown Time
  • +100% Prestige Power
  • +25% Battlepass EXP
  • -35% Rank EXP

Wave 3500: Sunny Farm

  • +5 Energy Income
  • +5% Super Energy Chance
  • +50% Super Energy Amount
  • -15% Skill Cooldown Time
  • -50% Damage

Niche and mostly used during an event that doubles returns on the map’s bonuses, or when you feel like explicitly farming one of the outputs. It can be difficult to reach synergies on Haunted Cemetery, and energy farming isn’t typically the best ROI of time.

Spells

Combat

  • Landmines
  • Blizzard

These are decent in the very early game, but drop off quickly! Landmines steal kills/xp, and blizzard is the opposite of what you want, which is to go fast!

Hero Buffs

  • Strength
  • Agility

Strength and Agility can be easily leveraged for quick and tangible damage output! They will make their way into plenty of load-outs of all kinds.

  • Power
  • Precision

Ideally paired together, but not required, these can cause massive spike damage when activated! These will find plenty of use in any push setup.

  • Hawk Eyes
  • Accelerate

Hawk Eyes has niche uses, but likely won’t see much loadout use. Accelerate has plenty of utility and can fill in a final slot on some builds for support.

  • Enchanted

Incredible! Skill potency is huge, and this will see constant use.

Resources

These spells will see constant use!

  • Rags to Riches
  • Time Warp

These are the semi-niche spells that see use on gold teams and energy farm teams to name a couple.

  • Trainee
  • Power Plant

You have the XP and Energy farm spells which will likely be staples on most of your loadouts!

INFO

  • Manual
  • Bosses
  • Autocast
You can click these buttons to cycle through how and when a spell triggers!

Don’t Forget

  • You can save spell loadouts as presets, and freely switch between them!
  • Spell Presets:
